Mars (actions, sexual energy, anger) enters Leo on July 1st. Leo is a Fixed (stubborn) sign that is concerned with pride, attention, self-expression and creativity. Mars can be bold and insistent in this sign, pushing for what seems essential (including romance and risk) because it’s a matter of pride. Ego drives actions. This can indicate confident actions or childish actions, depending on how aware the person is.
Confident actions come from a place of heat and calmness – you just know this is it and the heat of your assurance keeps you centered. Childish actions are a reaction to feeling ignored or insecure – you feel like you have to prove something.
Overall, this is a good transit for doing things that grab attention. But remember that Mercury will station Rx in this sign on July 7th (and will conjunct Mars) so there will be delays and questions.
Here are the aspects Mars in Leo in will make:
Jul 3rd: trine Ceres Rx in Sagittarius (1 deg)
Jul 8th: conjunct Mercury Rx (4 deg)
Jul 11th: trine Chiron Rx in Aries (5 deg)
Jul 11th: square Uranus in Taurus (6 deg)
Jul 14th: inconjunct Black moon Lilith in Pisces (7 deg)
Jul 25th: trine Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius (14 deg)
Jul 26th: inocnjunct Saturn Rx in Capricorn (15 deg)
Jul 30th: inconjunct Neptune Rx in Pisces (18 deg)
Jul 31st: square Vesta in Taurus (18 deg)
Aug 3rd; conjunct Juno (20 deg)
Aug 4th: inconjunct Pluto Rx in Capricorn (21 deg)
Aug 8th: sextile Pallas in Libra (23 deg)
Aug 18th; Virgo ingress

Your July Monthly Horoscope is ready for collection if you click here. It’s quite the month ahead — especially for Cancerians, of course, who have their birthdays plus an eclipse, Capricorns, who have an eclipse of their own, Leos who have a Mercury Retrograde. Or maybe it’s more intense for Aries and Libra, who’ll be getting those eclipses across such important angles? There’s also an interesting extra in here for Pisces and Libra, both of whom may profit from some special help.
