In this image the natal planets of VP-elect Mike Pence (R-IN) are penned around the outside of President-elect Donald Trump’s natal chart which shows a few descriptive links between the men, one born in June 1946, the other in June 1959. Mr. Trump’s chart and planets are highlighted in orange, Mr. Pence’s planets are in blue-green with no angles shown since I don’t have Mr. Pence’s birth time;

Saturn Trine Uranus ~ Revolver
MAY 19. Saturn sextile or trine Uranus brings about invention, flight and innovation, particularly of things mechanical. Saturn and Uranus politically are opposing forces, where Saturn is authority and tradition while Uranus is seen as rebellious and progressive. Usually these two in contact would be seen as quite difficult in that people will be fearful of change […]

Clare Hollingworth’s Appointment With Destiny
It was August 1939 when 27-year-old Clare Hollingworth spotted rows and rows of German tanks, hidden under burlap on the German border . She might have been a rookie, but she knew a story when she saw it. She wired back to London warning “the German war machine is ready for a swift stroke”. Three days later, Germany invaded Poland. Hollingworth’s report was called the “scoop of the century”. Hollingworth stumbled into journalism. She’d gone to Poland initially as a political activist and ended up saving thousands of lives by getting visas for people fleeing Nazi persecution. But she’d been forced out of that role and switched to journalism at […]

January 11th, 2017: The Dream Is Possible
Wilhelm Räuber (1849-1926) Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org
- Sun in Capricorn sextile Chiron in Pisces, square Jupiter in Libra (22 degrees)
- Mars in Pisces sextile Pluto in Capricorn (17 degrees)
- Pallas conjunct the Pisces South Node (4 degrees)
Jupiter enthusiastically bumps up the Sun’s goals and ambitions, urging you to push the limits while maintaining faith that it will work out. Although there is a risk of exaggerated striving for status, Sun/Chiron takes the edge off with a reminder of empathy. Too, Sun/Jupiter’s confidence can push you past a moment of hesitation or weakness. These aspects are part of the January 12th Full Moon in Cancer.
Aspects between Mars and Pluto usually involve brute force. But the gentle sextile, and Pisces’ softening influence, create a very manageable expression of will. Pluto adds strength to efforts which might otherwise be diluted in Pisces. Mars is the easy, conscious expression of Pluto’s unconscious issues. This is a manifestation aspect – ideals (and even fantasies) are given a nudge of possibility.
Pallas over the South Node indicates a pattern, creative strategy or transcendental idea whose time has come. You may be dipping into the past, or the pattern may be revealed to you in a moment where fate and intuition intersect. If it feels right, follow that thread.
Overall, this is an excellent day to go for it, especially if you’ve been hesitating to act on something. It’s not impossible – there’s a higher goal/vision that you now have access to.
