Sun/Pallas: The Golden Strategy

The Sun/Pallas conjunction will spotlight a key strategy or pattern. The Leo Sun adds fuel and attention – excellent if you’re presenting a solution or creative work to an audience. Confidence is high, as is organizational ability (an oft overlooked fact about Leo is that integration and a fixed centre are favoured by this energy). This is your bold “can do” strategy that convinces everyone based on sheer force of will. The audience applauds and are duly impressed by your talent and fire. 

Venus Dances With Mars Rx

Venus and Mars are in harmony, which is always nice. Action supports attraction, and Venus in Libra means all one-on-one relationships should benefit. Benefit from what? From revisiting past actions, trying again or even delaying (pick the one that’s appropriate for your situation). These are Air signs, which means the vibe is light – you won’t have to push to get what you want (a trine means it will happen naturally). Yes, this can be flirtatious, but it’s not super intense (Aquarius keeps it a bit detached). Maybe you reconnect with an attraction from the past. Where will it lead? Just go with it for now – no heavy expectations. 

Uranus Rx

Uranus Rx’s impact on your chart will depend on whether its retrograde motion makes it retreat from or approach your planet/Node/asteroid/angle.

If it’s retreating, the changes that began in May will ease off. You’ve got a reprieve, but don’t think it’s over. Uranus will be back to this degree (around April/May 2019) so in the meantime, you can look at the initial disruptions and prepare yourself for the next shake up. Use this time to get your bearings, but don’t ignore the break from the past that you know must happen. 

If Uranus Rx is approaching, the changes will be concentrated and focused. Rx energy can be more intense if the first hit from the planet (when it was direct) did not have the desired effect. Meaning, if the break from old/rigid/stagnant structures hasn’t happened, Uranus Rx will insist. 

If Uranus is stationing Rx right on top of something in your chart (making an exact conjunction) the disruption/liberation will be emphasized in your life right now. You must detach yourself from something that’s been holding you back. You must innovate. Now’s the time. While it’s true that you may have to rethink certain changes (Rx =going back) the changes are still immediate and urgent. 

Uranus will exit Taurus for Aries on November 6th, 2018, station direct in Aries on January 6th, 2019 and re-enter Taurus on March 6th, 2019. 

The Gentle Agreement

On a softer note, Neptune/Juno suggests a partnership agreement that is stable and grounded, but has a touch of idealism. Not too much – just enough so that belief in the relationship is supported by the security you’ve built together. This can be a gentle reminder that the contract between you another is about more than what you can see and touch – mutual compassion and the sharing of dreams add a subtle grace note to the material side of things.
