May 7th, 2019: Venus in Aries Square Saturn Rx

Caspar David Friedrich

Caspar David Friedrich

  • Venus in Aries square Saturn Rx in Capricorn (20 deg)

Continuing yesterday’s events from Venus’ square to the Nodes, , Venus’ square to the South Node ruler (Saturn) can present specific blocks that restrict the movement of this passionate new issue. There may be a struggle to get what you want as well as an intensified desire to have it (you want what’s being denied).

This is a South Node issue – something from the past must be resolved. An old rule is keeping you in check. You can’t avoid it and there may even be a responsibility that needs to be attended to (the extra work you have to do to get what you want). Perhaps you’re finally confronting an old fear or tradition that says you’re not good enough/you can’t have this/you need to control yourself.

This is a crisis that offers the possibility of breakthrough once you turn the corner. But you’ll have to do the work – moving past a fear can be just as much as work as dealing with a responsibility.

Immovable Opinions

Good day! In our attempt to rebuild what holds value for us, Mercury will exit from spontaneous Aries on Monday afternoon May 6, to enter stubborn Taurus. In the next three weeks, our focus moves from unstoppable to immovable with Mercury in Taurus – which can stall or slow down thoughts, communications and short travels. […]

Planetary news this week! Astrological forecast for May 6-13, 2019

Now that the New Moon in Taurus has calmed things down somewhat, we can turn our attention to other matters.  Mercury, the messenger planet, moves into Taurus on May 6th and continues the trend towards a more peaceful environment. This will help the disruption caused by a stressful opposition between Mars (aggression) which is creating […]
