  • Pisces Moon sextile Uranus RX in Taurus (4°)

  • Pisces Moon square Venus in Sagittarius (5°)

  • Waxing Trine between the Pisces Moon and Scorpio Sun (14°)

Moon/Uranus gently encourages you to step outside your comfort zone. Dare to dream that something different might be possible and then ground those dreams in the physical changes that are happening. Those changes are your fuel.

The square between Moon and Venus can stir up some mild dissatisfaction as needs clash with wants. Expressions of affection can be somewhat unrealistic, or perhaps you’re just hoping for a bit too much.

But the Waxing Trine ends things on a smooth note as you find a deeper focus for those dreams and undefined needs. This will involve totally committing yourself to an area of acceptance, compassion, spirituality or creativity. Immerse yourself in the moment and you’ll find that you move forward effortlessly. This can be an intensely healing and rejuvenating energy, as long as you’re willing to release control.

Mars Musings: The continuum of rage

Mars square Pluto

Mars is squaring Pluto today, completing a cycle of the past week or so in which Mars linked Saturn and Pluto by forming a square first to Saturn last week, and now Pluto.  Mars is the planet of aggression and warfare, and when conflicting with Pluto, which represents death and destruction resulting in regeneration and […]

  • Mars in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn (20°)

  • Venus in Sagittarius inconjunct Uranus RX in Taurus (4°)

The crisis between external actions (Mars) versus internal motivations (Pluto) can trigger extreme reactions: anger, obsession or aggression will be intensified.

Actions may be polite (Libra) on the surface, but there will be an undercurrent of something darker. Efforts to manipulate, gain power or strike back will be indirect, but don’t be fooled.

Whether you’re reacting, or you’re on the receiving end, it can help if you tune in to what’s going on beneath the surface. What are the real motivations? Surface actions will be a distorted version of those.

Pay special attention to extreme power imbalances (Libra). Efforts to dominate or fight back against domination will be based on Pluto’s life-or-death vibe. The actual situation is usually not life threatening, but Pluto has a way of amplifying those survival urges.

Meanwhile, Venus (ruler of Libra) will make an awkward inconjunct to Uranus. Exploring new and expansive areas in relationships, finances, creative opportunities or personal values can attract some unexpected and disruptive results. Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus is about the update to fixed financial or security habits. The resulting insecurity/impatience can trigger unwise risks.

Going back to Mars in Libra (square Pluto), we can see how intensely frustrating or hostile moments can trigger radical urges for escape (Sagittarius). Overall, you want to carefully consider your responses rather than blindly reacting. Don’t be someone’s puppet by dancing to their manipulative tune. And don’t be controlled by your Shadow issues-jealousy, resentment, fear of loss, unacknowledged anger.

Maintaining your awareness is your best bet to maintaining your balance, even if you’re confronted with a ferociously unfair situation. That means acting in a way that’s as fair as possible while acknowledging your anger over what’s unfair.
