Moving forward may be a bit challenging under a limited Mercury/Saturn square on Monday September 25. The path where our intrigue and interest has been leading us, may not be quite as satisfying as originally thought. And where we’re headed could have a few unexpected surprises and turns with the twisted Jupiter/Uranus opposition on Thursday September […]
A man, who feels himself to be half wolf, wanders through the rainy night streets of a European city. He comes across a strange door in a wall and sees this sign, or thinks he sees it, but then does it disappear? Magic Theatre Admission not for everybody — Not for everybody — MAD PEOPLE ONLY Harry Haller, the protagonist of Hermann Hesse’s masterpiece, the short novel Steppenwolf, is having a bit of a crisis. Not only does his own life feel meaningless and empty, the world around him, especially the bourgeois world, seems hypocritical, deluded (and yet, and yet, strangely […]

Last week’s fiery Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse was the main cosmic event. Did you feel it’s burn? And if so, how are you experiencing it’s scorching effects? Connected to the Venus/Pluto opposition, this square will exaggerate the opposition’s results. If you receive something good, it will be very good. An ugly confrontation or ending will be especially intense.
Jupiter amplifies what Venus wants. The Big Love. The Big Issue that feels so personal. The whole thing will be unbalanced and possibly unfair (Libra) whether the results are happy or not. Perspective will be skewed. If you’re celebrating…congratulations. But don’t try to grab more than you’ve won. If you’re doing the opposite of celebrating, remember that this too shall pass. And this also applies if you’ve won.
Elsa, Saturn fear vs Pluto fear. I’m trying to define the difference. Saturn may be more crystallized and holding on in nature, while Pluto fear feels like the bottom is dropping out kind of terror. After falling asleep and being … Read More…

The opposition is always about you and your relationship to the outside world. Even if there’s not a specific someone, if the transit activates your chart, it will stir up issues of projection, relating or competition. The opposition is also a culmination – you’ll see results, or an ending.
So that sets us up for Venus/Pluto, where love, money or self-esteem based on security needs (Cancer) is intensified and challenged by the ultimate “death” and transformation. Pluto can take away what you thought you needed most. Or, it can introduce a person/goal that you feel you absoltuely must have. Venus in Cancer makes it very personal (you could feel quite vulnerable) and the “other” becomes the key to everything- the humongous loss or the obsessive desire.
Pluto is teaching you through intensity. You were overly dependent on what was taken away (you were trying to control or cling to something). Or, what/who you want out there is a reflection of what you want to develop within yourself. Chances are, you’re projecting your issues onto someone (or they could be projecting onto you).
It all comes back to you. That’s not to say the profound love/lust/success is invalid. Yes, this opposition can bring success, especially when Venus is applying to a square with Jupiter in Libra, exact on August 17th. Sometimes the results equal a transformation for the better. Much depends on what’s led you up to this point – refer back to the November 25th, 2016 Venus/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn to see where it all began.
