I’ve just published the video on the member’s page.
It seems like some of the asteroids are lending some much needed flexibility to 2021.

Amanda Gorman: On Fire
I was wondering how the Mars-Uranus conjunction — that fiery, combustible, dangerous pairing — would manifest on the day of the inauguration. And then Amanda Gorman, Youth Poet Laureate, stepped onto the platform and began to declaim. She looked fantastic, like a queen from a country of the future — and on her head she […]

The Asteroids Report
My video on the movements of the asteroids in July and August is up on the members’ page.
Things are looking quite interesting for Ceres, the goddess of mothering, currently at a standstill in Pisces, and Pallas Athena embroiled in the Capricorn…
National Nurses Day 2020: Florence Nightingale
Florence Nightingale; reproduction; Library of Congress/Public domain In 2020 Her Lamp Burns BrightlyMay 12, 2020 is the 200th birthday of Florence Nightingale, founder of the nursing profession as we know it today. Born May 12, 1820 in Florence, Italy, she served selflessly during the Crimean War (1854–1856) and became known as The Lady With the Lamp. By her constant insistence on hygienic
The Best Book on Asteroids
A few weeks ago, I wrote about the asteroid Hygeia and mentioned that little work had been done on the asteroids in general. August Asteroids
Taking a quick look at what the asteroids are up to at the moment. Juno, Pallas, Ceres and Vesta move slowly enough to have serious impact, and quickly enough to be entertaining. Getting to know your asteroids adds a little turmeric and chili, ginger and garlic to your horoscopic stew. Especially relevant for some signs, of course. Some ideas to ponder when it comes to social contracts…

Notre Dame: She Will Rise Again
Notre Dame, the great church of Our Lady in the heart of Paris, at the sharp end of the Ile de la Cité, burned spectacularly last night. One of her spires pointed a flaming finger at the sky. She crackled, she roared. But today she’s still standing. The images were shocking, of course. Yet my take-away from this event was not doomy or gloomy, but a feeling of hope. The great cathedral, a wondrous monument to human endeavour, faith and imagination, built by teams of people over centuries, had survived a potentially devastating fire — thanks to teams of our […]
