Mr. Trump and the Trails of Jupiter and Uranus

The Current Jupiter-Uranus Opposition Imprints Upon the Trump Presidency

by Jude Cowell

Since the Electoral College’s selection of Donald J. Trump to play the role of US president has occurred under the auspices of a Jupiter-Uranus opposition–which usually forms a BOWL shape of planets with CEO-financier Jupiter in the lead–let’s consider the trails and conditions of Jupiter and Uranus

Sunday inspiration: We’ve come a long way, baby

The Age of Cancer, approximately 6000-8000 bce, was marked by the rise of agriculture as a more reliable means to feed humanity than simple hunting and gathering.  The Moon, ruler of the nurturing and sign Cancer, became elevated to goddess stature and we begin to see cults of the “Mother Goddess” and fertility cults.  With people […]

Overview

January 25th brings us a hypersensitive Venus/Chiron conjunction in Pisces. It’s connected to January 16th’s Mars/Chiron conjunction (painful/compassionate actions). This time, compassionate love and empathy will come from the realization that beauty is imperfect. Or, that pain and healing are part of loving and letting go. This leads us to the January 27th Venus square to Saturn in Sagittarius, which will clarify the hard limits around what you want/love. Mars/Chiron’s actions will have led you to Venus/Chiron’s results.

The synergy between Aquarius and Saturn continues. The January 19th Mars/Saturn square was aligned with the Sun’s ingress into Aquarius. Now, the January 27th Aquarius New Moon is joined by a Venus/Saturn square. New beginnings will involve the awareness of what’s being denied. If you’re able to approach this with measured thoughtfulness, you should be ok. A degree of detachment, self-reliance and self-control is expected.

Fortunately, Mars enters Aries on January 28th, gaining full strength and adding significant energy to this new chapter. The frustrations of the Mars/Saturn square will have been surpassed, and you can dive into something brand new. Mars in Aries grants you courage and the desire to keep fighting, even as you accept limits in another area of your life.

Aries

Venus in your hidden sector activates Chiron/Saturn, revealing the pain behind a secret or unrealistic want. There may be a reality check about what you can’t have, or a hidden insecurity (about love, money, beauty) could be triggered. The discomfort of arelationship ending may be quite intense, even though no one else sees it.

The New Moon in your social sector asks you to step out, no matter how insecure you’re feeling. There’s a new chapter involving friends, groups or your public image – maybe you’re wiping the slate clean, or taking a public risk. Mars into your sign adds courage and confidence, while urging you to move on from that background pain. There’s no time to feel sorry for yourself, and that’s not your style anyway. Feel the pain and keep moving forward.

Taurus

Venus in your social sector activates Chiron/Saturn. You may feel exposed, as a vulnerability or rejection goes public. Money and/or intimacy could be very awkward, as what you’re lacking is revealed. There may be a public apology or uncomfortable acknowledgement.

The New Moon in your career sector urges you to approach future goals, your professional image, or relationships with authority, in a new way. This chapter will be defined by financial or relationship limits, and that’s part of your new approach – you’re taking a dispassionate inventory of your skills, ambitions and ability to succeed. Mars into your hidden sector suggests part of this will involve stepping back and energizing less obvious goals that have been on the back burner. There are a ton of unknowns, but the old, familiar path is no longer working.

Gemini

Venus in your career sector activates Chiron/Saturn. Relationships, both personal and professional, are the focus. There could be disappointment or hurt feelings, as you become aware of the limits between you and another. Your connection to someone in authority, or a partner, will be tested, and you’ll have to deal with your own vulnerabilities regarding success.

Nonetheless, the New Moon in your sector of opportunities points the way to something better. A door could open around travel, education, legal matters or publishing. You will still have to deal with current limits in your professional life, but it’s also time for you to move forward. Mars into your social sector adds fuel to new developments – networking, friends or group activities are excellent targets for your ambitions.

Cancer

Venus in your sector of opportunities activates Chiron/Saturn. Travel, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing can be areas where you feel like you’ve gone too far. Venturing into the unknown or taking a risk can reveal painful moments, as you are confronted with the practical limits of your current responsibilities. Too, a new development may require more work before you get what you want.

The New Moon in your sector of shared resources asks you to take a new approach to shared finances or intimacy. Even as you deal with daily limits, know that it’s the perfect time to allow some fresh air into an issue that’s been hidden or denied. An uncomfortable subject (debts, problems with a partner) may require an unusualapproach. Mars’ move into your career sector adds energy and confidence, encouraging you to compete, start a job search, or try something new regarding your professional image.

Leo

Venus in your sector of shared resources activates Chiron/Saturn. What you want, in the areas of money or intimacy, may not be fully available. Too, a moment of vulnerability or sharing may not work out as you’d hoped. A partner could also reveal something painful, that makes you aware of limits on your self-expression.

The New Moon in your relationship sector connects the above events to a new partnership chapter. A new or existing relationship will demand a clear, rational approach, and a mature acceptance of boundaries. However, Mars into your sector of opportunities says there’s more on the horizon, whether you’re beginning or ending a partnership. This is the time to discover something new that fires your passions, even if there’s one thing you can’t have.

Virgo

Venus in your partnership sector activates Chiron/Saturn. A relationship weakness or sore spot will be exposed, but this is a necessary part of developments in your love life. Accepting an insecurity, fear or anxiety about joint future goals or domestic responsibilities can bring you and a partner closer, if you’re both ready to do the work. It’s not a fun influence, but it’s part of growing together. Or, defining what’s best for you in future relationships, if you’re on your own.

The New Moon in your sector of routine hi-lights a new health/work scenario, or obligation. This will be a chance to upgrade, improve or fix an existing domestic problem, and it will call for a cool,  disciplined approach. Do what needs to be done, and try to keep your emotions (and resentments) out of it. Mars into your sector of shared resources energizes matters involving debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances, or intimacy. A new surge of passion or initiative can help you tackle existing issues, or light the fire between you and your partner. However, arguments can also be triggered. Much depends on your approach to the other influences noted above – a clear acceptance of responsibilities (and a more disciplined approach to self-care) will work in your favour.

Libra

Venus in your sector of routine activates Chiron/Saturn. Issues of service, sacrifice or not being fully appreciated for your contributions, could come up. Too, self-care/self-improvement may be enforced by unavoidable rules. Instructions or defined tasks will focus you on a necessity.

The New Moon in your sector of self-expression insists that the above limits are part of your new “me first” chapter. Any uncomfortable issues that impact your self-esteem, health or confidence are prompts for you to approach a creative or romantic area from a different angle. You’re starting fresh, and moving into more independent territory. Mars’ move into your partnership sector adds new momentum to your love life. A relationship can receive a surge of passion and innovation. If you’re single, this influence can bring more action/attraction, although you may find that you’re happy doing your own thing for a while.

Scorpio

Venus in your sector of self-expression activates Chiron/Saturn. A romantic or creative limit will be reached, and there could be a temporary impact on your feelings of self-worth or attractiveness. Who you are is not defined by what you want, and any limits you encounter will clarify this. Too, you may be confronted by heavy responsibilities involving children/pregnancy, an artistic project, or a personal goal.

The New Moon in your domestic sector ties the above influences into home and family matters. This new chapter will urge you to step back from old, emotional patterns or family traditions. Perhaps you will take on the role of parent, literally or metaphorically. Mars’ move into your sector of routine can increase your workload, but also your energy. You’ll be ready to shoulder increased obligations. Too, this could be about you doing an early spring cleaning after a painful disappointment. There’s no better influence to jumpstart your personal upgrade.

Sagittarius

Venus in your domestic sector conjoins Chiron, and squares Saturn in your sign. Domestic relationships can be a mix of loving, sad and painful. A wound from the past may come to light, and you’ll have an obligation to deal with it. There will be limits around certain relationships, but your responsibilities will be clear. It’s up to you to be the adult.

The New Moon in your communication sector indicates that the above limits will define a new message, conversation, official document or dealings with siblings. Even though you’ll be constrained by certain rules, this is a fresh chapter. Mars into your sector of self-expression adds confidence, sparkle and courage – it’s time to light a new fire. Creativity, new romance, performance or celebrations can benefit from this energy.

Capricorn

Venus in your communication sector activates Chiron/Saturn. A conversation, piece of information or contact with siblings can involve a bitter-sweet goodbye, or apology. Awareness of a sensitive issue will increase your empathy, but background limits will define your responses.

The New Moon in your sector of personal resources adds in themes of earned money, personal values or self-esteem. Watch for a new beginning in what you earn, how you earn it, or what you require for baseline security. A calm evaluation of the necessities, rather than wants driven by neediness, will keep you on track to getting what you need. Mars into your domestic sector can trigger disagreements with family, but it can also add motivation to make changes/repairs at home.

Aquarius

Venus in your sector of personal resources activates Chiron/Saturn, stirring up feelings of insecurity, or doubts about worthiness. Too, a financial shortfall could claim your attention. Questions about how hard you work, and what you must do to earn money, will be raised. Remember to forgive yourself for what you don’t have – some achievements are not valid for you, and you’ll realize that they wouldn’t have made you happy.

But the New Moon in your sign insists that this fresh chapter is yours, and any limits you’re experiencing are meant to push you forward. Your focus will be absolute, because you’ll know exactly what’s off the table, and what you have to do next. Mars into your sector of information adds punch to your communication – your ideas and conversations will be blunt, enthusiastic and no-nonsense. Perfect if you’ve got something to say, if you’re looking for a new job, or you need to deliver a verbal smackdown. Mars can inspire, while giving you the courage to  say “No” or “This is what I’m doing now.”

Pisces

Venus conjoins Chiron in your sign, and squares Saturn in your career sector. Work responsibilities, or career dissatisfaction, may cause you to question your self-worth. Demands connected to success, status and authority will limit and define your self-image, while pushing you to confront an area where you’ve given up, given in, or lost yourself. Saturn can also remind you that it’s time to get your act together.

The New Moon in your hidden sector suggests external events will trigger a background potential. There’s something new behind the scenes, although it may only be a whisperat the moment. Mars into your sector of personal resources builds on this new awareness, by pushing you to become assertive when it comes to what you’re worth, and what you need/earn. It may be time to actively demand that you’re given what you deserve. Or, that you do the work to ensure your security.

Welcome to Trump Land – Max Igan

Has the current transit of transforming Pluto in the governmental sign of Capricorn inspired the installation of Donald Trump into the Oval Office? I ask because Pluto in Capricorn is The Dictator according to Reinhold Ebertin but before you answer you may want to listen to what activist Max Igan has to say:

Catch You Later, President Obama

Barack and Michelle Obama may have left the White House today, but they have certainly not left politics. In fact, Obama’s career as a world leader and elder statesman has only just begun. While he was president Obama carried a burden of huge responsibility, without always being able to wield a huge amount of power, because the Republican-led congress was determined to thwart him. From the autumn of 2012, Saturn — which can be quite oppressive — was moving across the top of Obama’s chart from the cusp of the 9th house to the cusp of the 11th. During this second term […]
