“This is an extraordinary chart,” I told a friend. “Detached. Cruel. Definitely brilliant. Might be a psychopath, given the family history. All the components are there. However there’s really no telling.” ::silence:: “Well, you can be brilliant and cruel and … Read More…

Elsa, Saturn fear vs Pluto fear. I’m trying to define the difference. Saturn may be more crystallized and holding on in nature, while Pluto fear feels like the bottom is dropping out kind of terror. After falling asleep and being … Read More…

The opposition is always about you and your relationship to the outside world. Even if there’s not a specific someone, if the transit activates your chart, it will stir up issues of projection, relating or competition. The opposition is also a culmination – you’ll see results, or an ending.
So that sets us up for Venus/Pluto, where love, money or self-esteem based on security needs (Cancer) is intensified and challenged by the ultimate “death” and transformation. Pluto can take away what you thought you needed most. Or, it can introduce a person/goal that you feel you absoltuely must have. Venus in Cancer makes it very personal (you could feel quite vulnerable) and the “other” becomes the key to everything- the humongous loss or the obsessive desire.
Pluto is teaching you through intensity. You were overly dependent on what was taken away (you were trying to control or cling to something). Or, what/who you want out there is a reflection of what you want to develop within yourself. Chances are, you’re projecting your issues onto someone (or they could be projecting onto you).
It all comes back to you. That’s not to say the profound love/lust/success is invalid. Yes, this opposition can bring success, especially when Venus is applying to a square with Jupiter in Libra, exact on August 17th. Sometimes the results equal a transformation for the better. Much depends on what’s led you up to this point – refer back to the November 25th, 2016 Venus/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn to see where it all began.

The Sun was conjunct Mars in Leo throughout the entire Leo season. This means this conjunction shows up in the Solar return of any Leo. It’s pretty interesting. I’ve looked at a lot of solar returns for Leos, already. I … Read More…
Many continue to be vibrating from the turbulent energy of last week’s altruistic Aquarian Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. Trying to stay balanced during this emotional roller coaster of ups and downs can be a struggle, especially as the Solar Eclipse continues to fuel up. Breakdowns are bound to happen as communications shift into an overdrive of […]
We start out the week with the Taurus Moon in square to the Leo Sun, halfway through the eclipses. The Moon squares Mars and sextiles sign ruler Venus. It moves through the tip of a yod from Saturn and Jupiter. … Read More…
