Virgo New Moon: Practical Magic
When we leave our formalized ritual spaces, we need a method of pursuing our lofty spiritual goals in the real world, ideally one that capitalizes on the fifteen waking hours each day that most of us spend just taking care of business. Enter Virgo, who asks, what if each part of your day, tasks great and small, could be a catalyst for your spiritual growth?…

Astrology of Now: Touched by the Moon
This week, Mercury, Mars and Venus, the three rocky little planets closest to our own planet Earth are visible at dawn, and today, Lady Luna sails in front of those planets in a multiple “occultation”. What is more, the Royal Star Regulus is part of the show too. “The last time the moon slid past three planets within 24 hours as it will this week was on March 5, 2008 (when it was Mercury, Venus and Neptune), and the next time will be in 2036, according to EarthSky. Vesta’s Transit of Libra

Vesta enters Libra on September 18th. An area of extreme focus will be concentrated on comparison, one-on-one relationships and being liked/loved/socially accepted.
Vesta’s focus always cranks things up a few notches. During this transit, a particular relationship (and your devotion to that person) may become paramount. Or, there could be a fixation on comparison, as you obsess over what they have/how they appear. Before Libra can achieve balance, there is an imbalance. Vesta’s tunnel vision can tip things over the edge. The importance of looking/acting just so could become everything.
The “you versus them” dynamic will have to be addressed. Are you focusing so much on pleasing/competing that you lose sight of yourself? If you get caught up in Libra’s projections, you can give away Vesta’s (your) sacred fire.
The benefits of this transit include a dedication to harmony and equality. Absolute fairness can become a must-have. Excellent for negotiations that require some added steel.
Vesta will exit Libra for Scorpio on November 15th, 2017.
