“If you cannot tell the truth about yourself, you cannot tell it about other people.” -Virginia Woolf I’m not one to use another’s tragedy to prove astrology’s accuracy. That strikes me as disingenuous and gimmicky, kind of like people who chase tornados and post them to their YouTube channel. However, facing the potential of one’s […]

As you remember, the first lunation of year 2017 perfected on January 12, 2017 with a Full Moon @22Can27 and was the culmination-fulfillment stage of the New Moon @7Cap59 of December 29, 2016. These lunations were during the Trump Transition period as he and daughter Ivanka readied for Inauguration 2017 on January 20th.
This time New Year’s Day 2018 brings society a Full Moon @11Can37 which
Flickr How appropriate that Harvey Weinstein, arguably the most powerful mogul in Hollywood today and perhaps in Hollywood history, was terminated from his leadership position at the Weinstein Company just as Jupiter (leadership) goes into Scorpio (sex and power). Weinstein is notorious among Hollywood circles for his boorish behavior and sexual harassment allegations […]

BML is agitating (in all her outcast glory) with an enabling trine to Uranus. This aspect encourages taboo and disruptive women’s issues – freedom for whatever makes the patriarchy and polite society uncomfortable.
And this energy will be at odds with polite society, due to the square between Venus and Lilith. Specifically, Virgo’s ultra-correct expression of female energy. Here is the clichéd good girl/bad girl dichotomy – Virgo’s purity versus Sagittarius’ wildness. And Uranus will make things difficult for poor Venus, as he jolts her with panicky reminders that this scenario is messy.
The above could manifest as an internal struggle: you’re stuck between the obligation to be “good” versus rabidly honest. Or, someone may play the Venus role, with you as Lilith (or vice versa). Both sides have merit. Venus asks why BML insists on ignoring certain facts in her lust to be recognized. Parts of the real story (the dry but important parts) may be glossed over. Lilith asks why Venus is so insanely critical, neurotic and repressive. Why is it unclean to break the rules?
Mars will be zero help. He’s locked in a battle with Saturn – restricted actions, repressed anger and oppressive responsibilities.
Overall, today’s vibe is clamped down and judgemental. Something/someone is struggling to come out, but there will be a host of rules, picky details and critiques to navigate. As oppressive as those rules and details will be, they cannot be ignored. There’s work (Mars/Saturn) to do, even if you want to rebel.
The Full Moon on November 4 2017 falls at 11º Taurus decan 2. The Full Moon is closest to fixed star Menkar found in Cetus the whale. There is also a blubbery sextile to Neptune which makes this Full Moon all the more oceanic. Good examples of the exalted Moon in this decan are Carl Jung […]

After gym today I dropped in at the travel agent for a brochure on Bali. We’re contemplating another trip there mid next year –

The ongoing political and personal barbs between Senator Bob Corker and Donald Trump concerning Trump’s irresponsible remarks and tweets that could "start World War II" and the continuing Confederate statue removal debate that seems determined by higher powers to delete US history from our eyes,
Harmony by Ann Marie Bone Two planets change signs this week: Jupiter moves into Scorpio on October 10th, and Libra into Venus on the 14th. When planets change signs there is a shift of focus and a shift of energies that can help us to break out of old patterns and find new […]
