Overview

May 27th to 29th deals out a Yod to Saturn Rx in Capricorn. As described in my Full Moon post:

“Saturn is part of a Yod to the Sun and the North Node…The Sun and North Node sextile each other, and both make awkward inconjuncts to Saturn, which becomes the focal point but also the challenge. So there’s opportunity to create (Leo North Node) fuelled by fresh ideas (Gemini Sun) but that energy may be blocked by a hard limit or rule. Your choices may be limited. In the end, you want to use the point of the Yod (that’s your task) which means focusing the creative, flexible energy. Get serious about it and take responsibility for what you’re choosing. Take responsibility for the future you want to create. “ 

Yods can be very challenging, because the focal point is essential yet difficult to master. In the case of Saturn, the block or fear is your goal – you must work with the barrier. 

This Yod feeds directly into the May 29th Sagittarius Full Moon. Although you’re still dealing with frustrating Saturn, the Sun trines the South Node and the Moon trines the North Node, so this Moon’s results will integrate past and future. The two should flow together with Sagittarius themes of expansion, faith and exploration as the bridge. 

Note that Mercury enters Gemini on May 29th, trining Mars in Aquarius on June 1st. Quick choices and fresh voices are energized, as liberated actions (Mars) chime with new ideas. This will be part of the Full Moon’s results. But Mercury’s inconjunct to Saturn Rx on June 2nd reminds you of the Yod’s task – focus, focus, focus. 

May 31st to June 2nd sees a gorgeous Grand Water Trine. Building on the Jupiter/Neptune trine from May 25th, Venus in Cancer joins the party, lighting up all three water signs. What you want/love (Venus) is intensified (Jupiter) and idealized (Neptune). 

The energy of a Grand Trine flows easily, which means the path of least resistance can be wonderful or debilitating. Addictions and delusions can grow. So can love, deep healing and rewarding creativity. If you feel yourself pulled in a certain direction (it will feel natural and compelling) ask yourself what’s being enabled.

The Yod to Saturn in your career sector puts the focus on status and authority. A professional responsibility can feel onerous, as you attempt to juggle this with creative expressions and ideas. Find a way to focus that creativity/innovation through your career  – take responsibility for what you want to express. 

The Full Moon in your sector of opportunities will deliver a result for the above, involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Trines to the North and South Nodes can make a social issue personal, or help you gain public recognition for a project  or idea. Mercury’s move into your communication, and the trine to Mars, accelerates the exchange of information with others. Great for keeping the conversation going. However, Mercury/Saturn suggest you’ll still have to deal with professional limits/rules which may narrow your choices and enforce certain standards regarding what you communicate.  

The Grand Water Trine lights up your sector of shared resources (Jupiter Rx), your hidden sector (Neptune) and domestic sector (Venus). This influence may be private, but you should feel it as a smooth flow of contentment (financial and/or emotional). Domestic issues can unfold with empathy, love and enjoyment. This is healing energy that can be used to nurture yourself if you want to be alone, but it can also increase intimacy in a domestic partnership. Less healthy expressions of this trine would look like enabling past/family behaviour that’s based on secrets. 

Taurus

The Yod to Saturn Rx in your opportunities sector suggests a rule/barrier involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing is difficult to deal with. Financial and domestic issues can be impacted as you experience limits on your security. Know that this limit is meant to focus your attention so you can integrate personal/domestic matters with big-picture goals. 

The Full Moon in your sector of shared resource carries this further, with a conclusion involving debts, taxes, your partner’s finances or intimacy. What you share or do not have complete control over will be the issue, and the trines to the Nodes can help you develop this on a personal/domestic level. Consider how far you want to take this issue, and what another is going to contribute. Mercury’s move into your sector of personal resources keeps the conversation flowing when it comes to earned money, personal values or sources of income, and the trine to Mars combines career developments with the money you want to make.
