  • Jupiter in Scorpio trine Chiron Rx in Pisces (28 deg)

  • Jupiter in Scorpio sextile Pallas in Virgo (28 deg)

  • Chiron Rx in Pisces opposite Pallas in Virgo (28 deg)

Jupiter/Chiron gives you access to deep healing of a wound/vulnerability that first came up around March/April 2018. At that time, you may not have had the resources to deal, but now you do- pay attention to what’s emerged from the depths (knowledge, secrets, optimism).

Jupiter in Scorpio has stirred up a lot of crap during its transit – you’ve felt the weight of your Shadow, issues with death or trauma. But this trine indicates that healing is available. The emergence of dark things is not without relief.

Chiron’s opposition to Pallas indicates some challenges as you attempt to apply logical strategies/solutions that don’t quite do the trick. The neat pattern won’t fit with what hurts. But Jupiter’s sextile suggests you can still get through this if you work with newly emerging secrets/wisdom. The deeper you go, the more access you’ll have to assistance as you expand upon an existing solution. Go beyond what’s logical.

  • Third Quarter Square between the Leo Moon and Scorpio Sun (8 deg)

  • Venus Rx in Scorpio opposite Uranus Rx in Taurus (0 deg)

  • Venus Rx returns to Libra

Third Quarter Square

The Third Quarter Square brings an internal crisis, as bold, bright (possibly celebratory) energies hi-light the contrast between light and dark. Something is grabbing your attention, but you may not feel like examining the contrast it triggers. However, looking deeper or confronting the specter of loss, powerlessness or massive change is necessary. A new beginning awaits, but you can’t access it unless you’re prepared to acknowledge what’s dying (or your own Shadow issues).

Venus Rx

Adding to the above, the Venus/Uranus opposition suggests an ending or culmination that’s been in the works for awhile (you may have encountered it on September 12th, 2018 when Venus in Scorpio first opposed Uranus). A jolt of clarity, or desire for freedom, will add to the re-evaluations that Venus Rx in Scorpio has stirred up. Here’s your moment of truth.

This jolt may push you back a step or two, as Venus’ return to Libra indicates a second look at the balance between you and another, or the social balance in your life. Surface issues will be questioned – is everything really ok?

Check out my post on Venus’ transit of Libra for a more detailed look at this portion of Venus’ Rx, as well as specific aspects.

Mercury’s Transit of Sagittarius and Mercury Rx

As Mercury enters Sagittarius today (October 31st) the energy around communication and information shifts from investigation/secrets to big-picture views and ideals.

Mercury is expansive in this sign. Details are less important than the overall story, which will usually have a touch of the idealized exotic. This is the transit of promises, inspired words, the sales pitch and certain versions of the truth.

Initially, this may feel like a huge leap as Mercury’s compression in Scorpio suddenly gives way to rapid expansion. You may be flooded with ideas, stories and big pronouncements. But Mercury will station Rx in Sagittarius on November 16th, and you’ll be questioning the story. Or, there may be delays and reviews of the big promise.

As noted in this post, Mercury Rx will dip back into Scorpio, telling us that the review of something new and expansive will trigger an additional look at what lies beneath the story. Sagittarius is associated with truth, but there’s a sense here that what you first learn may not be the whole truth.

Mercury’s first major aspect in Sag will be a trine to the Leo North Node, which will fire up new ideas with brilliant future potential. This will truly be about looking ahead. But Mercury will also make an inconjunct to Uranus Rx (ruler of the Aquarius South Node) so there may be something unfinished (a surprise or disruption) that you have to take into consideration. Uranus/Mercury can be impatient and disconnected. You’ll want to to say “Yes” or speak out ASAP. Just keep in mind that the retrograde will slow things down.

Here are the aspects Mercury in Sagittarius/Scorpio will make:

  • Oct 31st: inconjunct Uranus Rx in Taurus (0 deg)

  • Oct 31st: trine the Leo North Node (0 deg)

  • Nov 10th: sextile Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius (10 deg)

  • Nov 16th: stations Rx at 13 deg Sagittarius

  • Nov 27th: conjunct Jupiter (4 deg)

  • Dec 1st: re-enters Scorpio

  • Dec 2nd: inconjunct Uranus Rx in Aries (29 deg)

  • Mercury in Scorpio opposite Juno Rx in Taurus (29 deg)

  • Venus Rx in Scorpio square South Node in Aquarius/North Node in Leo (0 deg)

Mercury/Juno Rx raises questions about a previous contract or relationship agreement. What seemed to be set in stone may now be challenged, as someone wants to look deeper or ask uncomfortable questions. Too, this opposition could indicate the finalization of a commitment from September 28th.

Venus Rx square the Nodes adds more info to the relationship issue. The review of, or return to, an intense exploration of values, self-esteem or love beneath the surface will bring you to a major turning point – what you want/love will be the deciding factor regarding staying on the edge, remaining detached/alienated versus stepping up and claiming your place at the center. This can be the center of anything that increases your pride, power and sense of purpose. The key will be committing yourself to something that matters to you and builds your self-esteem.

It’s significant that this square is happening just before Venus Rx returns to Libra (Oct 31st) and the Nodes enter Cancer/Capricorn (November 6th). This adds emphasis to an already significant turning point, because it precedes a huge, energetic shift. This will be your last chance to address certain issues, although Venus will square the Nodes again on November 28th (from Libra). But that will involve different themes.
