Mars In The 7th House Bad For Marriage?

I have a high tolerance for strife in relationship.  My husband has a similar tolerance. Vedic astrologers are on to this. Mars in the 7th house in the Vedic system is considered bad for marriage but there is remedy. The … Read More…

  • Venus in Scorpio trine Chiron in Pisces (28 deg)

  • Venus in Scorpio inconjunct Uranus Rx in Aries (28 deg)

  • Vesta in Aquarius conjunct Black Moon Lilith (16 deg)

Venus

Continuing the Grand Water Trine, Venus/Chiron suggests deep healing via the full commitment to what you want or love. Venus in Scorpio is not casual – this is an immersion in the beautiful and ugly truths of a relationship, financial or self-esteem issue. The deeper you go, the more access you’ll have to compassion, empathy and acceptance of a wound (Chiron). This is about loving what hurts or finding beauty in what’s flawed and vulnerable.

Note that Venus’ inconjunct to Uranus can provide a shock to the above – some of what’s revealed will not be pleasant and you’ll have to make adjustments. Perhaps you discover more than you bargained for. The challenge will be to integrate this into the flow – can you handle uncomfortable truths?

Vesta/BML

Vesta is focus and Black Moon Lilith is taboo or unacceptable female energy. Here, the focus is on the outsider – the witch/rebel/dangerous woman holds the sacred flame. Aquarius makes this about the collective- perhaps a key issue that no one wanted to acknowledge is unavoidable. Everyone is looking and Lilith’s power is enhanced by the undivided attention.

Vesta is also about purity while BML is considered dark, sexual and “impure”. When the two unite, there are hints of sacred sexuality or devotion to the dark lady on the fringe. Consider where your attention is focused today and why: there’s a reason you can’t look away.

Along with today’s New Moon eclipse, beginnings have a heavy feel but they are weighted in absolute truths. You’ll know where you stand and those with the courage to accept reality will benefit.

Capricorn New Moon

Each year when I write about the Capricorn New Moon I write a variation on the same theme – and mostly it’s to do with getting my goals in order. That’s partly because it’s that time of the year, but it’s also because I’m such an innate drifter at heart – hello, I’m uber-Pisces – …

Mercury in Capricorn

Mercury is poised to move into Capricorn and my attention has turned to matters of business – or rather business results and business planning. That makes sense – Capricorn is 11th house stuff for me, so it’s at this time of the year that I start putting some structure behind and around and under my …
