Virgo season begins on a challenging note with the 3rd Quarter Square – the Crisis of Consciousness. There may be conflicting urges to focus on the details versus the input of fast, new choices and info. Should you take your time or react quickly to what’s coming in? The questions that come up will be important.

This aspect is about questioning what you thought you knew, so the sudden influx of new choices is designed to open your eyes and drag you away from tunnel vision. While the overwhelming vibe may involve looking at one thing, don’t ignore the chatter or distractions. There’s more to consider.

Having said this, Virgo thrives on tension. There’s dissatisfaction when things are going smoothly, so this crisis could be exactly what’s needed. There’s something to fix, and there’s no better time to address it than now.

Juno into Virgo takes partnership agreements and breaks them down. The specifics about what you and another have committed to will be on the line. Do A and B work for both? Are the little things lining up? This is also about the desire to make a partnership better – if anything’s not working between you, this transit will emphasize it. There will also be solutions, but they will only work if both people want it.

  • Leo Sun conjunct Juno (29 deg)

  • Mercury in Leo inconjunct Neptune Rx in Pisces (17 deg)

Sun/Juno illuminates the pride and power of a successful partnership, but Mercury/Neptune raises a few questions. Honesty may not be a priority – perhaps one person is evading the truth in order to preserve the shine. Too, there can be a caution to acknowledge what’s not obvious – this is not all about what’s in the spotlight.

Dreams are good, but not at the expense of purpose. This is a tricky balancing act where one or both partners must acknowledge what defies immediate definition without allowing that information to undermine their mutual purpose. Compassion or spiritually may need to be interwoven with overt examples of relationship success.

Note that this can apply to any type of partnership: romantic, business, creative, etc.

Hong Kong

Hong Kong vibrates with people power: people working, thinking, talking, praying, eating, walking, haggling, hawking, kissing, cooking, spitting, stealing, fighting, laughing, buying and selling. Standing on the Star Ferry coming into Central earlier this year, I swear I could feel the straight energy lines of intelligence, money, chatter pouring out of the city and across the harbour like a million laser beams. This extraordinary, palpable energy is noted by most visitors to the city. With the wild mountains at its back and the harbour and its feet, the city is nestled between two implacable natural forces. Practitioners of Feng Shui […]
