When beginners start learning synastry, there’s a tendency to jump straight in and focus on Venus and Mars, and maybe even the Descendant. Which makes sense, right? Of course you want to be attracted to your partner. You want to … Read More…
Life throws a lot at us, and part of being a grownup is learning how to handle it. We develop so many tools for coping that we begin to believe that we’re in control of our lives. Then, faced with something over which we’re powerless… that’s when we’re looking into the eyes of Pluto.

Well, here’s a stinky kettle of fish: White House will retaliate against diplomats who don’t cover for Trump during testimony. Naturally, reading this reminded me of Trump’s Mars rising in dramatic Leo with royal Regulus and the star’s well known Caution: ‘success if revenge is avoided; otherwise all that has been gained will be taken away’.

Libra Sun square Pluto in Capricorn (20°)
Ceres in Sagittarius square Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (18°)
Continuing the energy of yesterday’s Full Moon, the Sun/Pluto square illuminates the shadow side of relationships. Power, fear of loss or jealousy will be underneath the surface. Scenarios are polite on the outside, but you’re not imagining the undercurrent of tension or intensity.
This aspect can indicate manipulative social situations or a death/crisis that completely changes the balance in a relationship.
Ceres/BML is a crisis between the Great Mother and the Dangerous Woman. As the significator of nurturing, loss and rebirth, Ceres in Sag can mean the expansion of that cycle or hope for life in the future. But BML is a dark current that cuts across Ceres’ forward momentum-the witch/other woman/ sexual disruptor can challenge efforts to nurture or can undermine faith. There could be a showdown between the mother and the seductress, or a crisis between mothering versus undefined sexuality.
