November 22nd, 2019: Saturn Trine Vesta

John Collier

  • Saturn in Capricorn and trine Vesta RX in Taurus (17°)

This is the second of three trines between Saturn and Vesta. Saturn is limits and structure. Vesta is ultimate focus and devotion. When the two harmonize in Earth signs you get an absolute focus on something real.

This is prime manifestation energy, but you must apply discipline and patience. What you’re trying to create has a very good chance coming into being, but it will not be quick or easy. Rules and maturity are integrated with your focus on what you’re slowly and steadily building up. This will probably involve material resources or physical habits.

If you look at the dates below, you’ll see that you are now in the thick of the manifestation process. This is not a time of conclusions-you’re still working towards the final product. Keep striving and keep your eyes on the final goal. It’s very important that you focus on your priorities.

Vesta RX (retrograde) is excellent for reconfirming your devotion to what you want. Meaning, remind yourself of what’s absolutely sacred to your self -preservation. If necessary, go back and strengthen your commitment.

  • July 23rd, 2019: Saturn RX trine Vesta (16°)

  • November 22nd, 2019: Saturn trine Vesta RX (17°)

  • March 20th, 2020: Saturn trine Vesta, both direct (29°)

Cancer – Comforting Love

hearthOh Cancer. So loving, so sweet, so nurturing. They are stellar parents and caretakers, but what about partners? I can already feel air and fire-heavy people cringing. Aren’t they ridiculously sensitive? Don’t they pull smother-mother moves constantly? Or even worse, … Read More…

Podcast: Your Month Ahead, Nov 22-Dec 22

Although — or maybe because — we recorded this on the first frosty day of November, this episode should warm the cockles of your heart. The big event this coming month is, of course, the move by bounteous Jupiter from Sagittarius to Capricorn. We decided to take the time to make sure we had a quick chat about what this means for every single sign. But we also managed to squeeze in some talk of Taylor Swift, Alfonso Cuaron — two magnificent Sagittarians — and what on earth was going on with that Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio last month!

November 21st, 2019: Mars Inconjunct Chiron

  • Mars in Scorpio inconjunct Chiron RX in Aries (1 °)

Intense or passionate actions (Mars) will trigger discomfort (Chiron).  The deeper you dig, the more vulnerable you’ll feel, and you may pull back out of fear. Mars rules Aries, so there is extra resonance: the external battle where you feel weak and the internal push for intimacy or control. Perhaps this is about secret or taboo motivations.

Chiron’s wounds cannot be avoided but action still has to be taken. Efforts will have to accommodate pain or vulnerabilities. This means applying measured intensity rather than a full-on push, while accepting that it is going to hurt or someone’s going to say that you’re being “too” heavy/dark/obsessive, etc.

Reaganomics Eclipse 1981 a Turning Point for America

American People Still Bamboozled by Reagan Economicsby Jude CowellMany moons ago I posted the horoscope of 1981’s Reaganomics Eclipse on my WordPress blog, Jude’s Threshold (its title a reference to my natal 12th house Saturn, guardian of the threshold). I don’t go there often now but you may for there are quite a few post links in the blog’s sidebar, posts which may relate to current events. And
