Was it worth it?

Regular readers have heard me wax lyrical from time to time about those soupy dumplings I first tried in Hong Kong, and later wherever I can get them…xiao long bao…
Anyways, when I was in Hong Kong, I could easily have had these 3 meals a day. In c…

#Marchphotoaday: Red

Todays word is “red”. I have Venus in Aries, so it stands to reason that I will have a penchant for red- but didn’t realise quite how many red nail polishes I had until I lined them up. What is scary is that I have a similar number o…

Red, Red Wine

I reckon that the dude who said “good things come to those who wait” is probably still waiting.
I’m not good at waiting. There is very little in this world that I would be prepared to queue for, and I am the person sitting back in the theatre/ p…

Holding Out For a Hero

I have Venus in Aries, so this post every year is always one that I love writing- partly because of that Aries energy and partly because it means that my Venus Return (and at least one reasonably decent hair day) is just around the corner.

So Flamboyant- Venus in Leo

I wish I had Venus in Leo.
Sure, I wish for lots of things- a smaller bum, fewer jiggly bits, and possibly a cm or 2 of extra height. Usually I like my Venus in Aries- she knows what she wants. Sure quite often I don’t have the courage to go and get …

Pisces Man Leaves Aquarian Woman – She Wants Him Back: Astrology-Based Advice

Dear Elsa,

I know it takes a lot of courage for a Pisces man to break up with someone. Even though he told me that he still cares a lot about me, I know it’s just to make it seem less difficult – or maybe he’s trying to make himself feel better.

Either way, he just told me he has all these fantasies about love and how it would be filled with “butterflies.” I understand that Pisces are about the imaginative things but butterflies?

I believe that we can get anything/anyone we want in life with the right approach. How do I get him to come back?

Gemini Asks, Do You Ever Feel Like You Are Failing Your Chart? Astrology-Based Advice

Dear Elsa,

Ever feel like you’re failing your horoscope? I’m a Gemini who’s just downright pooped trying to salvage what I can of a relationship with a Leo man. Not to complain or anything, because I am strangely energized by all the things I’m learning about myself because of him (like how dark my dark side really is). But a lot of horoscopes seem to suggest that I should be at a romantic, lovingly committed high point right now. And I’m not. I keep trying to get him to see how beautiful life is, and how beautiful he is, and how beautiful I am! And he’s sad and frustrated and non-committal and clammed up.

How do you know it’s time to let go? Believe me, it would be easier to run…why do I feel so drawn to sticking it out? And why do I feel like I’m failing my horoscope? Thanks!

Daily Planets: About Firsts and First-ness

I have been a little quiet on the blog front lately. Ooops.
I could easily blame an “interesting” workload. I could also blame a hectic social life. I could even say that I didn’t see the point as the world was supposed to end on Saturday night. …

Venus in Aries: Holding Out For a Hero

I have Venus in Aries & love it. It gives me some fire and drive that my otherwise water-logged chart wouldn’t have.  Even though I still can be way too Piscean about going after what I want, I do want what I want NOW!  I look for Aries or …
