Building The Dream
During the next four weeks, we’re about to get a lot more serious about what we want to attract into our life as loving Venus moves from playful Sagittarius, into ambitious Capricorn on Monday November 25. As we take responsibility for who we are and what we currently have with Venus in Capricorn, we can […]

October 24th, 2019: Black Moon Lilith And Venus

Venus in Scorpio trine Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (19°)
Moon in Virgo opposite Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (19°)
It’s always nice when Venus and BML harmonize because that indicates a flow between the more typical expressions of female energy (Venus is about relating) and the atypical, outsider expressions of “dangerous” female sexuality.
Venus in Scorpio is about relating on the deepest possible level. The commitment to intimacy and authenticity is total. Or, perhaps you’re delving into your own hidden resources/taboos. Either way, it’s about being nakedly honest.
But that doesn’t mean everything is on display, because Venus in Scorpio is very private. This supports expressions of sexual energy that are outside the bounds of convention. BML in Pisces is the witch, because she transcends what’s real and defined. Today’s aspect says that she draws her power from your deepest awareness of what you want, love and value. This may be a very private development for yourself, or between you and another.
What’s interesting is that the Moon (Lilith’s opposite) is actually opposing BML from Virgo. This highlights the contrast between the “virginal” mothering/nurturing figure who serves versus the one who serves only herself. It reminds us that BML is not here to make us feel comfortable. The Moon’s opposition may emphasize a choice that you have to make, or tension between two types of women.
Venus is the harmonious, connecting facto; get honest and look at the shadow issues behind mothering, fixing and virgin/whore projections. Who is considered pure and impure, and are these descriptions even valid?
No one said Venus in Scorpio delivered the good stuff easily.

Do or Die | Starcana Cosmic Dirt
The latest cosmic shifts over the past few weeks have kept us on our toes, between Sun (ego, identity) and Mars (energy, desires) in balancing Libra, then Mercury (thoughts, communications) and Venus (values, love, money) transiting intense Scorpio, while stabilizing Saturn and transformative Pluto both stationed direct. This new week quiets down just a tad; […]
Honoring Our Spirit | Starcana Cosmic Dirt
Intentions may feel a bit tested this week, between the irritable Mercury/Uranus opposition, a restrictive Sun/Saturn square on Monday October 7 – and the finicky Venus/Uranus opposition on Saturday October 12. An unexpected shift could be hard to resist, as overpowering winds aim to send us off into another direction. Stay mindful, in order to […]
October 6th, 2019: Turning Point

Libra Sun square the Capricorn South Node/Cancer North Node (13°)
Jupiter in Sagittarius square Juno in Virgo (19°)
Today is a day of turning points.
Sun square the Nodes says that you have a choice in a relationship, exchange or issue that involves balance. You can stick with the old rules/ traditions or move forward to something that’s unfamiliar but more emotionally satisfying and nurturing.
This is been an ongoing issue since September 22nd when Mercury in Libra squared the Nodes and September 25th when Venus in Libra did the same. Mercury and Venus highlighted specific issues, but the Sun will act as a general spotlight and reminder that you still need to address an imbalance. The crisis of this difficult choice is your turning point.
Jupiter/Juno tells us more about this. Lofty ideals and expansion will challenge the specifics of a relationship agreement. There may be an urge to race past the tedious details, but that in itself can expose flaws and discontent in the relationship. Perhaps dwelling on the flaws is ruining the partnership’s future.
Juno was Jupiter’s wife in mythology. She remained faithful to him despite his constant philandering. So when this archetypal couple forms a hard aspect, we can also expect issues of freedom versus fidelity plus relationship right versus wrong. In this case, Juno is demanding a detailed account of the present (where are we now) while Jupiter would rather concentrate on the future.
Again, this can describe the turning point in your relationships. What is unacceptable to you- the specifics or the promises/ ideals? Is compromise possible? Whose version of the truth is “correct”?
