Within the history of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 we find that President Woodrow Wilson signed the Act into law on the very day it passed the US Senate: December 23, 1913. That day, most Congress members were hurrying out the door for Christmas break so there were none to object to the bill’s passage and enactment.
