On a truly sad note, the tragic shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School also sparked up the issue of freedom and the cost to safety in daily life of the American citizen insistence on the right to bear arms and the protection of their children.

However, the Pisces fish do swim in different directions and get pulled into eddies that can get very murky.

Mars in Aquarius chose to hover above it all, creating a barrier of protection and still being able to give forth its opinions. Mars in Aquarius – Idealistic Battles & Contradictions. While part of the Mars picture can be about planning, thinking and preparing, in essence Mars just wants to move, to spring into action and flex its muscles. Mars in Pisces wants to prove itself by ideally defending the weak, championing those who can’t champion themselves and by winning an essentially ‘unwinnable’ battle.  Its weapon (Mars) is often ideology (Pisces). It may function on the social level making sure everyone in its group is treated charitably and as compassionately as possible. It may want to function only on the personal level and treat others with forgiveness and mercy or it may function on the universal plane seeing to it that large groups are treated with care and soulfully.

Check out the Pisces zone in your own chart. This area will see the passing of a zealous compassionate avenger or defender through it and used wisely this energy can be healthy and much needed. For instance if Pisces is your 6th house zone you could save a work colleague from a situation that they are struggling with by listening or counselling them through it. Or is it passing through your 4th house zone of family and you need to open up your home to people or even creatures who need rescuing.

Conversely, used more negatively you could get lost in a sea of endless possibilities. You could feel unable or too fearful to choose an option and act that may cripple all your best intentions. If it is moving through your personal 11th zone people you value as friends may eventually drain you or take advantage of your good nature. 

Going through your 7th house zone perhaps a partner may never get round to saving themselves as they keep relying on you to do it for them. Or perhaps they never got around to saving you.
