  • Mercury in Capricorn sextile Pallas in Pisces: 6 degrees
  • Pluto in Capricorn sextile Venus in Pisces: 17 degrees
  • Vesta Rx in Cancer trine Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio

Mercury/Pallas integrates structured ideas with intuition and magical patterns. Imagination is given shape and form. Excellent for getting the vague idea down on paper. Pluto/Venus is a manifestation aspect – structured power is gently applied to a beautiful ideal. A subtle push is all you’ll need to achieve something desired, as long as you’re aware of the existing potential.

Vesta’s focus is applied to Lilith’s shadow. This can suggest devotion to uncovering an uncomfortable secret, and the harmony of the trine indicates a smooth release. What’s revealed will be potent (due to extreme focus) and there will be no hesitation. Vesta’s purity (the sacred) harmonizes with Black Moon Lilith’s raw energy (the profane). The sacred mother (Cancer) is combined with the sexual woman (Scorpio). To put it another way, what’s taboo needs nurturing and empathy so it doesn’t turn into a destructive secret.

Overall, today is about easy integration, and a sense of wholeness.

Venus in Pisces: Dirty Sweet

Those of you following this Venus in… series will know already that Venus is not entirely about how you look. For that we look at the Ascendant and planets aspecting it. Venus though can tell us what makes you attractive, or even what makes you beautiful. So it’s pretty interesting that the first three names that came up on my database when I typed in Venus in Pisces were: Michelle Obama, Jesus Christ and Martin Luther King. Presumably we can discount Jesus, since last I knew there was some controversy over his exact birthdate, so the next one down is Kurt […]

  • Sun conjunct Pluto: 17 degrees Capricorn
  • Venus conjunct South Node: 4 degrees Pisces
  • Chiron in Pisces square Juno in Sagittarius: 21 degrees

Sun/Pluto illuminates an essential change to the structure, or an issue of absolute power supported by the structure. If it’s stagnant or outdated, it will crumble. If the time has come to realize full potential, authority and manifestation will be unquestionable. Combined with today’s Venus/South Node conjunction, this could suggest a relationship (business or personal) that has reached a turning point.

Pluto’s association with death and the South Node’s ties to the past could indicate an ending. Or, the moment could be ripe with karmic potential, as what’s been developing comes to fruition. Venus over the Pisces South Node dissolves the past and expands the future. Whether you’re letting go or welcoming something new, a sacrifice may be part of the deal. Venus in Pisces is transpersonal, so it can never be just about you – you may have to give up to get what you want.

Chiron/Juno suggests a painful moment involving commitment and freedom. One partner’s ideals (and desire to explore) may hurt the other. Or, a partnership ideal may disappoint, with resulting bruises. This hints at the sacrifice involved with Venus/South Node.

  • Venus in Aquarius square Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio: 24 degrees

New social or romantic impulses will trigger deeper issues of jealousy and anger. Stepping outside the lines may raise more controversy than anticipated, as darker sexual dynamics are churned up. Others may react to what you can’t see, and the desire to love in your own way can be driven by destructive urges. Aquarius’ clear, dispassionate light emphasizes Scorpio’s shadow.
