  • Mars in Pisces square Jupiter in Sagittarius

The Mars/Jupiter square can amplify existing tendencies towards addiction, overindulgence or escapism. It can also amplify creativity or motivation to help/heal. Whatever you feel pulled towards today, know that the current will be strong. And, you will not have total control over the end result.

A square means tension, and in this case, it’s tension between ideals/faith/the big picture (Jupiter) versus actions (Mars). The tension will motivate you to seek, pursue or escape.

This is why it’s important to be very aware of your impulses. What are you trying to accomplish? Mars in fluid Pisces is about openness and allowing, but Jupiter pushes for big results. It can be easy to lose track. But if you set your course in a healthy direction, you can achieve almost magical results.

Heart Connections | Astrology Horoscope

As life continues to change and evolve, we’re put into our own individual position of either hanging on to what we know is stable – or to let go and flow (Pisces in Mars). To try and do both – to control AND and to surrender – would require intense juggling, as we would be challenged to […]

Mars’ Transit of Pisces

   Howard Pyle

Howard Pyle

Mars enters Pisces today (November 15th) at 5:20 PM EST. After a long, retrograde induced sojourn of Aquarius, Mars is finally moving on.

You may feel this shift more significantly than most Mars transits, because Mars has been spending so much time in one area of your chart (the Aquarius section, along with the very end of Capricorn).

Mars in Pisces is indirect action. It’s drifting rather than pushing. Allowing rather than initiating. You cannot force anything in Pisces, so Mars can be a bit uncomfortable here. But it’s also a nice way to end the year – things will happen as they’re meant to, and all you have to do is be open to that. Do what you can, and let the rest take care of itself. There may be a release as the tension of the past few months dissolves. Sometimes the most you can “do” is let go.

Mars in Pisces (your actions) creates ripples, but you will have minimal control over what they’ll hit. The best you can do is ensure that your initial motivations and intentions are healthy. This also means taking care of yourself, because when Pisces is activated there is an increased risk for vulnerability. Mars in Pisces can drift down some questionable paths.

This is an excellent transit for creative work, meditation, relaxation and healing. Good for dreaming and drinking, so keep an eye on the indulgences this holiday season – Mars in Pisces can take you too far, especially with the upcoming square to Jupiter.

Here are the aspects Mars in Pisces will make:

  • Nov 19th: square Jupiter in Sagittarius (2 deg)

  • Nov 25th: trine Ceres in Scorpio (5 deg)

  • Nov 26th: square Mercury Rx in Sagittarius (6 deg)

  • Nov 27th: sextile Saturn in Capricorn (7 deg)

  • Dec 2nd: square Sun in Sagittarius (10 deg)

  • Dec 5th: inconjunct Pallas in Libra (12 deg)

  • Dec 7th: conjunct Neptune (13 deg)

  • Dec 17th: sextile Pluto in Capricorn (20 deg)

  • Dec 17th: sextile Juno Rx in Taurus (20 deg)

  • Dec 27th: trine the North Node in Cancer (26 deg)

  • Dec 29th: conjunct Chiron (28 deg)

  • Dec 31st: Aries ingress

Making A Way for Acceptance | Astrology Horoscope

Hello there friends. It’s been an active November with Uranus (awakenings, change, evolution) retrograde shifting from steady Taurus back on November 6, to re-enter pioneering Aries for the rest of the year. Unexpected changes, breakdowns and possible breakthroughs are bound to occur in the areas where we thought we were strong, stable and comfortably settled. After a year […]

Fear Of The Dark

Hi friends! We’re still being led into an overwhelming amount of darkness as powerful Sun leaves harmonizing Libra on Tuesday, October 23, to join Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in the transformative realm of Scorpio. During the next four weeks, some of us will be quite fixed and comfortable in the darkness with our ‘big’ little […]

October 22nd, 2018: Gentle Truths

  • Waxing Inconjunct between the Pisces Moon and Libra Sun (28 deg)

  • Moon conjunct Chiron Rx in Pisces (28 deg)

  • Sun in Libra inconjunct Chiron Rx in Pisces (28 deg)

  • Mercury in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn (18 deg)

The Waxing Inconjunct will hi-light something that needs to be acknowledged before the October 24th Taurus Full Moon.

The Sun’s inconjunct to Chiron Rx is part of this – while the Pisces Moon/Chiron conjunction will encourage immersion (no boundaries) in what feels sensitive, this immersion will need to be balanced (Libra) with the awareness of others (Libra is the relationship sign). Empathy will be key – what are they going through? You may find some common ground.

As I wrote in yesterday’s post, this is a “poignant and peaceful” energy, and the Libra influence certainly doesn’t indicate disruption. But consider if what you’re feeling connects you to someone else. There may be a wound or embarrassment that specifically involves one-on-one relationships.

Mercury/Pluto encourages the exploration of intensive (Scorpio) truths in an non-invasive way. Words will have an impact, but they can be spoken gently because the sextile is soft aspect. Information can be uncovered and it doesn’t have to be earth-shattering. Overall, today’s vibe is compassionate and honest.

October 21st, 2018: Rest Up

  • Moon in Pisces trine Mercury in Scorpio (16 deg)

  • Moon in Pisces sextile Pluto in Capricorn (18 deg)

  • Moon in Pisces opposite Pallas in Virgo (23 deg)

  • Moon in Pisces trine Jupiter in Scorpio (26 deg)

  • Moon Void of Course in Pisces (7:47 PM EDT)

  • Moon conjunct Chiron in Pisces (Oct 22nd)

  • Moon enters Aries and VOC ends (Oct 22nd, 2:58 AM EDT)

All harmonious aspects for the Pisces Moon today, except for an opposition to Pallas.

The trine to Mercury in Scorpio and sexitle to Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) suggests feelings, intuition and intellect can blend beautifully. What you sense will be powerful, intense and easily expressed. Words should flow, although the opposition to Pallas suggests strategies (problem solving) may be a bit tricky. What you feel could contradict what seems like a good solution. It’s up to you to find that balance between pure practicality versus empathy or creativity.

Nonetheless, the trine to Jupiter can end things on an uplifting note (you’ll feel optimistic) while also expanding any desire to escape, heal or relax. Not great for accomplishments but excellent for opening up, fantasizing or letting someone in.

The void Moon will be your time to sit quietly and allow yourself to feel whatever hurts – you can be vulnerable but safe with the Chiron conjunction as there will be no pressure and no expectations. This energy is poignant and peaceful.

If you can, set aside this time to just be and rest up for the Moon’s Aries ingress, when everything will become supercharged.
