I am looking for someone who can shepherd Sasstrology into the future, someone who will respect the institutional knowledge that we have accumulated over the years, while endeavoring to find innovative ways to make it even more relevant to readers.

The Party’s Over For Johnson
Boris Johnson, the British Prime Minister, is in trouble, but the astrology is sweet. Blond-bombshell Johnson was born with an extraordinary cosmic signature — Venus Retrograde in the heart of his Gemini Sun. So if you’d speculated that Venus Retrograde periods might be significant for him, you’d have turned out to be right. When Boris […]

Zuckerberg’s Ouchie!
Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and super-plutocrat (check 0°Scorp), is having quite the seamy week, what with the whistleblowing, the share drop — and, of course, the outage. And here’s the thing. It’s not all that obvious in his astrology — unless you dig count the asteroid Chiron, the wound. Zuckerberg’s Chiron, which shows the […]

The Explosion in Lebanon
Yesterday evening, a massive explosion at 6.08pm in Beirut, Lebanon killed hundreds and injured thousands of people. It was so large and so loud, it could be heard 300 miles away in Cyprus, windows were blown out across the capital and people miles away were injured by debris. People are saying it’s the biggest peacetime […]

What Astrologers Are Saying About the Coronavirus
Right now, I am sitting in my bedroom, looking out at a clear blue sky. It’s very quiet, because there’s so little traffic and I can hear bird song several gardens away, children playing next door. The air is clear and easy on the lungs. It smells different: good. There’s a strange stillness as we […]

What Astrologers Are Saying About The UK December Election
What a lousy election. What a lousy choice. Still, there’s always astrology to ding around with while the old structures crumble around our ears during this Pluto-Saturn cheek-to-cheek. A Void of Course Moon in Gemini on the night means, traditionally, it ain’t goin’ nowhere — nothing will come of it. Furthermore, Saturn in Capricorn will […]

Astrology of Now: The Law
Well, yesterday was quite the day for the law and democracy on both sides of the Atlantic. In London, the Supreme Court found that the government, and therefore Prime Minister Boris Johnson had broken the law when it suspended parliament. In fact, Judge Hale said that legally the “prorogation” did not happen. So parliament is back in business today. In the US, top democrat Nancy Pelosi has finally started an impeachment enquiry against Trump. “No one is above the law,” she said. Both these legal decisions will have long-term effects on the law in both countries. The British Supreme Court […]

Astrology of Now: Flying Flamingoes, Black Rod, and the Bendings
Even by the standards of that operatic place, the scenes in parliament were extraordinarily theatrical last night. Starring roles this time were taken by– Mr John Bercow as The Speaker Ms Sarah Clarke as Black Rod House of Commons as The Chorus Opposition Benches as The Choir It’s always nice to learn a new word. According to my on-line dictionary prorogation is “the action of discontinuing a session of a parliament or other legislative assembly without dissolving it.” This happens for a few days between parliamentary session, the average is about eight days — and then they all gather again. This time […]
