Hmmm…wonder if “spineless Republicans” can be laid on the doorstep of the Republican Party’s current Neptune Return, a five-fer series of conjunctions that began in May 2017 and which performs the final ‘hit’ of transit Neptune to the GOP natal Neptune in Pisces (May 20, 1854) to perfection on December 29, 2018?
Yes, Neptune‘s cycle is 164 years long which makes today the Republican Party’s 164 birthday. The party’s natal Neptune @14Pis01 was unaspected the day the party formed in Ripon, Wisconsin and the planet of veils, fraud, deception, self-deception, illusion, and lofty ideals is unaspected today as well. Unaspected Neptune denotes materialistic, private, and secretive tendencies for spiritual moderation is lacking.
Although unaspected, the GOP’s 1854 Neptune is involved in one midpoint picture–Neptune-MC (people with Utopian ideas, swindlers, crooks, official scandals of large scope, spies who undermine national security–Ebertin; Munkasey) = Uranus (radical reformers, rebels, those of big-talk-no-action, weaklings, chaos-creators): confusion, lack of clarity, desire to bring ideas into realization at all costs (Ebertin); self-righteousness, intense impatience (Tyl); resistance to unpopular ideas (Munkasey). Note that these are my caps and italics.
Now as you know, Neptune in its own sign of Pisces indicates the possibility of pathological tendencies and inclinations, and a deep interest in mysticism. So Happy 164th Birthday, mystical GOP! Your off-and-on public support (secretly on) of Donald Trump does you no credit as the US government is dissolved and shrunk to bath tub size by the watery force of your astrological Neptune.
