We’ve arrived at the end of the Gregorian calendar year, and it feels to me as though this one zipped right by. How about you? I want to take this opportunity to thank you for coming to my site. Some of you are here daily, and I will continue to give you daily updates as much as I am able. If you feel as though the information I provide here would be useful to others, please pass my link along. Sometimes in cyberspace, I start to wonder if anyone else is out there. But let me not veer too close to the maudlin line on the last day of the year – or any day of any year, for that matter. (The writer now reaches for Kleenex and Scotch.) But wait – yes! – let me get a bit sentimental for a moment. It’s been a helluva year, hasn’t it? And we all somehow survived the big astrological event: the cardinal cross. Please tell me your most notable achievements, and/or how you sailed through the year’s dramatic tension. Everyone is on their hero’s journey but we’re all connected, nevertheless.
So today is Friday – ruled by Venus – and how lovely that the Moon has put her arms around Venus in a conjunction in Scorpio. This promises a meaningful connection with those you choose to celebrate with tonight. Both the Moon and Venus are all about connecting, and Scorpio’s energy promotes a depth of feeling, so don’t be caught off-guard if you feel a little lump in your throat as you look back on the year that was.
It’s very helpful that Moon and Venus are reaching out to jovial Jupiter and wild and crazy Uranus in Pisces through a trine. This is easy sociable energy, and you can see the best in others now. Thank heavens, for the rest of the planets are in tense square aspects. You may feel stalled or restlessness, but let that go for now. There will be plenty of time to make your mark on the world at the cosmically appointed time.
