A week after that stunning New Moon in Sagittarius, the Moon has now moved 90 degrees ahead of the Sun. This phase is known as the First Quarter Moon, and represents a turning point. Those seeds of intention that you planted a week ago now need some type of care if they are to be flourish into maturation and manifestation. Likely some type of hurdle presents itself, as if to reveal where you need to direct your energy. This is about facing whatever conflicts may come up, and discovering your strength in the process.
Don’t be surprised if today’s energy feels rather linked to last week’s New Moon, because the Moon in Pisces has a meeting with both Jupiter and Uranus today. This spells a surprise or disruption of sorts. If you recall, the New Moon had a similar vibe – major revelations and shocks – because Uranus (which rules upheaval and shock) returned to direct motion, mere hours after the new lunar cycle began. So you may see a repeat of sorts (bearing in mind that Mercury is now retrograde, so repeats are a common occurrence anyway). But this time you may see last week’s issue through clearer eyes, or with a chance to make a course correction.
Bear in mind that it’s not the outcome that matters as much as your willingness to rise to the situation that presents itself, even if there are a few knots to untangle.
