Since Friday is governed by Venus, let’s see what the planets are up to, with an emphasis on the planet of love and money.
“Well, pop the champagne, break out the cologne; turn up the moonlight and turn off the phone.” These lyrics are from a sweet ballad entitled, I Will Be Loved Tonight. It’s an especially Venus-themed song, and one of the many delightful tunes from a charming musical theatre piece called I Love You’re Perfect, Now Change (book and lyrics by Joe Di Pietro, music composed by Jimmy Roberts). Its title perfectly evokes the energy that we’ve recently come through with Venus retrograde in transformational Scorpio. Everyone’s been doing the relationship tango (or is that tangle?), and re-evaluating the merits or demerits of love – all the while trying to change from the inside out.
Venus has now backtracked into her home sign of balance-seeking Libra and, as of today, she is no longer retrograde. Score one for the lovers! As if to celebrate, Jupiter has also resumed direct motion today. Score one for Pisces! These two planets even connect today through a bi-quintile aspect, and Neptune (higher octave of Venus) receives a magnificent trine from the goddess of love. It’s a day to luxuriate in all things romantic and artistic. Go see some live theatre, or take in a concert. Then get with your beloved to make some sweet music of your own.
