Don’t look now, but here comes an eclipse in the emotional sign of Cancer. The big event doesn’t happen until Friday but—oh my—you can feel the build-up with each day that brings us closer to it. There is nothing even remotely subtle about the energy this eclipse is putting out; it’s a beast, plain and simple.
Having said that, you are never at the mercy of the Cosmos, even when She’s angry (uh, like now, for instance). You do have to make a choice about the most beneficial way to respond to any out-of-the-blue situation that crops up, however. Especially if you want to come through this without alienating yourself from everyone you know.
One suggestion: no smothering the one you love, no matter how much you equate it with nurturing. But on the flipside, it won’t help you (or anyone) to leave someone twisting in the wind because they’re not in your tribe, so to speak. Patience and compassion, for yourself and everyone else, are key traits that will help you ride the storm. And oh yeah: breathe, breathe some more, and count to ten. If it helps to imagine that this is what it’s like to have tantric sex and to hold off on exploding (take that how you will), then go for it.
No doubt about it: it’s a bit of a tightrope walk, this eclipse—but you have the inner fortitude to walk the line, so try not to sweat it, just do it.
