Since Monday is governed by the Moon, let’s see what the planets are up to, with an emphasis on Luna.
October 25: Moon in Gemini
The Moon glides into social Gemini shortly after sunrise. As it makes its way through Gemini’s early degrees, it will form an awkward quincunx with Sun, Mercury and Venus retrograde, all in Scorpio. You may feel out of sorts, or may find yourself blurting things out, based on your emotions, without having paused to edit first. If you’re hooked up with various social networking sites, you may want to resist the urge to spill every juicy detail of your life.
Meanwhile there are municipal elections today, throughout Ontario, Canada. By the time the polls will have closed at 8pm EDT, the Gemini Moon will have moved into the release position of a fateful yod that includes Mercury (who rules today’s lunation) and Venus retrograde (re-thinking our value system) sextiling the North Lunar Node (collective evolution) in Capricorn. The chart is below, if you’re curious. The Moon represents the people – the voters. And the fact that it’s in such a tense alignment speaks of the difficulty in making the ‘correct’ choice. A Gemini Moon favours multiple options but, judging by the chart, we may not be too appreciative of the choices in candidates. (This is true for Toronto citizens, at least.) However, the biggest issue is getting out to vote! The change we seek can only come if everyone exercises their democratic franchise. And how blessed we are to have that right.
