Since Tuesday is governed by Mars, let’s see what the planets are up to, with an emphasis on this feisty red planet.
November 2: Mars Went into Sagittarius and All I Got Was This Lousy Mayor
The heavenly kaleidoscope has shifted slightly since yesterday, but the theme remains the same: you need to be able to zoom in on up-close details, as well as pan out for the bigger picture. Both are necessary. Unlike yesterday, when Mars in Sagittarius was contacted by the Moon, today he’s on his own.
Leaving Mars to his own devices in Sagittarius suggests that, today, everyone’s got an opinion – and everyone’s an expert. I think this energy favours sound bytes over a comprehensive platform, if only because Mars does his thing in sprints, as opposed to marathons. Expect to hear a few quick know-it-all quips, followed by a dismissive, “That’s all I’ve got to say on the matter.”
Anyone who lives in Toronto can identify with this energy, because newly elected Mayor Rob Ford so aptly personifies it. No matter where you live, you may want to listen to this sound clip of a recent interview gone terribly awry, if only because it exemplifies the brusqueness that Mars in Sagittarius can exude when he isn’t modified by the influence of other planets.
Huh, and I thought Pluto (the higher octave of Mars) in Capricorn was going to help weed out all of the rotten politicians…Well, that’s all I’ve got to say on the matter 🙂
