Capricorn:  The Goat and the Melusine, the power of Initiation

Melusine.  Seagoat.  Half goat, half serpent.  Fresh water nymph.  King (Capricorn/ruler/authority figure) wins over the melusine as she’s walking the earth as a woman.  (You can see the melusine in both symbols for Cap and in the symbol for Saturn –sitting on a rock, serpent tail down.)  The melusine is self-contained.  That self-containment is violate by the king, and she runs away, taking the children with her.  Capricorn builds.  King must honour.  Male and female authority.  King must also obey.  Kings are arrogant.  They always peek.  No one will tell him what to do.  Capricorn also involved in alchemy?  The sacred marriage.  Saturn, above and beyond all other planets, must deal directly with the earth.  Saturn is about the here and now, the things I have to do to get on with my life.  About respect and balance.  A man made authority and a sacred, natural authority.  Divinity must be honoured.  Caps go about their work as if it was a sacred undertaking.  When they are inspired, when they are doing what they need to do, they are unstoppable.  Each time they open their hands, they are given the tools they need to do the work they need to do.  When Cap planets are working, they provide.
