A new leaf is turned, or perhaps a new chapter is being written in your personal saga. You can thank the fresh and vital energy of the New Moon in Aries. Aries is all about new beginnings, and so are New Moons. So we’ve got a potent starting point. Add to this the vibration of Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus in tandem with Sun and Moon in Aries, and you can’t help but feel the urge to get going. Whatever changes you need to make in your life, you’ve got an abundance of cosmic support!
Still, there are some challenges with this New Moon that may make for a sluggish start. Saturn retrograde in Libra stands opposite the Aries stellium as a reminder to be prepared and to strategize carefully before launching your next big thing. Mercury in Aries is also retrograde, which points to triple-checking everything you attach your name and energy to. Unless you’ve worked with the same person, group or company before, it’s likely in your best interest to hold off on accepting a brand new job (until April 30, at least). Ditto for real estate transactions or looking for a new apartment. But hey, if you’re a student, Mercury retrograde can really help you get your brain on for upcoming exams.
Something else to bear in mind whenever Uranus energy is as strong as it currently is: it may be hard to see what’s coming from out of left field. This can be a very exciting time, but it can sometimes feel as though the rug has just been pulled out from underneath you. If that’s the case, you’re experiencing the polarity between Sun and expansive Jupiter in opposition to restricting Saturn retrograde. Ultimately what happens now is in aid of getting you into a better situation. But you may need a bit more time (Saturn) and perspective (Jupiter) before you can see the blessing disguised as a curse. One more thing: spiritual Neptune has moved into the sign of its home, mystic Pisces. Even if you don’t believe that you have a creative bone in your body, this energy is going to put you in touch with your artistic and spiritual side. Neptune’s long transit through Pisces will also have a great deal to teach us about opening up to being in the flow of a conscious universe.
Strange, exciting, unnerving and oddly reassuring, all at the same time. Could this cosmic soup be any more eclectic?
