November 16th, 2019: Yod To Venus In Sagittarius

Yod.jpg

  • Cancer Moon inconjunct Venus in Sagittarius (18°)

  • Vesta RX in Taurus inconjunct Venus in Sagittarius (18°)

  • Cancer Moon sextile Vesta RX in Taurus (18°)

The above aspects make a configuration called a Yod. The harmonious sextile between the Moon and Vesta creates a stable base that’s rooted in the focus (Vesta) on habits (Taurus) and a familiar, comfortable environment (Cancer).

But the Moon and Vesta both made awkward inconjuncts to Venus in Sag-a new, slightly risky and tempting opportunity may distract you from your focus and make you feel uncomfortable. So there is a struggle to maintain that comfortable status quo even though something exotic beckons. The results can manifest as discord between what you want versus what you need.

The key with a Yod is to use the focal planet as a point of integration, because the focal plan is your task. The issues it represents will be prominent but difficult. Venus is the focal planet here, so what’s new and expansive must be integrated into what’s familiar. These will involve Venus themes- money, relationships, what you want, what you’re are attracted to, your values. There will be discomfort, security fears and anxiety because the Yod is a challenging configuration. The “target” (whatever Venus represents) will not respond to neediness or fear. Use the comforts that you know are real and sacred as a solid foundation, then reach upwards and outwards while keeping your feet planted.

November 15th, 2019: Ceres Into Capricorn

James Abbott McNeill Whistler

  • Ceres enters Capricorn (11:33 PM EST)

Visible or traditional signs of nurturing are important with this transit: results must be successful and the type of nurturing is focused and disciplined rather than warm and fuzzy. This is the parental figure who tells you what to do for your own good.

Boundaries are important: the care and feeding of a person or situation is not unconditional. In some cases, nurturing may be tied to status or pure obligation.

Regarding Ceres’ cycle of care, loss and rebirth, this transit can define specific endings or beginnings. Responsibility and maturity will be emphasized: there are strong parental overtones here, whether or not you have a child.

During this transit, consider the life cycle that you are responsible for. This could be another person, a creative project or self-care (Ceres is associated with food). Perhaps you are being encouraged to take a look at how your parents cared for you and if that role is now reversed. Capricorn asks you to get real about responsibilities, parental history or a possible ending.

Ceres will exit Capricorn for Aquarius on January 31, 2020.

November 12th, 2019: Mars Sextile Jupiter

  • Mars in Libra sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius (25°)

  • Chiron RX in Aries trine Pallas in Sagittarius (1 °)

Mars/Jupiter is a “lucky” influence, and I placed that word in quotes because in order to activate the beneficial energy, you have to do something.

Mars in Libra is about balanced, sociable actions. In a harmonious sextile with Jupiter (expansion, optimism, opportunity) there’s an excellent chance to succeed, as long as you act in a way that’s equitable and polite. Go with the social flow but don’t be afraid to reach for a new opportunity-your efforts should be accepted by others and your timing (assuming that you’re willing to compromise) should be bang on.

Compromise and politeness are key-this is not about doing something crazy or radical. It may even be better if you act in alignment with someone else. This sounds fairly restrictive, but if you’re willing to balance your actions with others, you should find that an opportunity happens naturally.

The vibe is positive, energetic and sociable-make the most of your relationships.

Chiron/Pallas presents an opportunity to strategize your way through a hurtful situation. If you’re feeling vulnerable or exposed by the battle that you have to fight alone, there are new solutions for you to access. Open your eyes to what you haven’t considered previously-you may need to learn something new or consider input from unusual sources. There’s a bigger pattern, or a larger belief system, that you can apply to what hurts. This can also be about teaching others how to deal with their wounds.

November 10th, 2019: Mercury RX Opposite Vesta

  • Mercury RX in Scorpio opposite Vesta RX in Taurus (20°)

You could experience this aspect as extreme blockage around what you’re trying to communicate or investigate. Vesta is absolute focus, but when opposing Mercury that focus challenges intellect or communication.

The focus on a habit or something you’re trying to preserve can be so extreme that you deny deeper insights that have emerged. Vesta can manifest like Saturn with passion.

Too, the investigation can bring you to the same, restrictive result-you may have to decide to look elsewhere temporarily.

This aspect occurred previously on October 23rd, when Mercury was direct. So you’re returning to the same, obsessive issue or ending. And once again you’re confronted by blocks. Don’t expect progress while Mercury is RX, but do look at the repeat message-is there a compromise between depth versus preservation? Is there something you’re refusing to see?

November 9th, 2019: Black Moon Lilith Speaks Again

  • Mercury RX in Scorpio trine Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (21°)

  • Mercury RX in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn (20°)

  • Chiron RX in Aries opposite Juno in Libra (1 °)

Once again, BML is given a voice as she harmonizes with Mercury. The investigation of secrets or a closer look at taboo information will enable her. Women’s sexual energy that is powerful, disruptive and unorthodox can be verbalized, and the sextile to Pluto (which rules Scorpio) adds even more power.

Pluto is the death and transformation of old ideas. Words are authentic and magnetic but uncomfortably honest. Nonetheless, they can be well received. If you ever wanted to talk about Lilith, now’s the time.

These aspects to Mercury last occurred from October 17th-19th, when Mercury was direct. Now you may be revisiting the ideas, identifying the hidden facts or repeating the same, intense message. Repetition equals power.

This also ties in to yesterday’s sextile between Pluto and BML.

Chiron/Juno suggests a painful imbalance in a relationship agreement. One partner may be hurt by the agreement, but goes along with it because they feel they have no choice. This can be the compromise that is wounding, or a compromise that is made in spite of the pain.
