  • Third Quarter Square between the Virgo Moon and Sagittarius Sun (7 deg)

  • Uranus Rx in Aries square Vesta in Capricorn (29 deg)

A tense day as the Third Quarter Square raises new and annoying questions. Certain flaws in the story may emerge, and while they will be bothersome, you’ll find them difficult to ignore. Before you can expand any further, you need to attend to the details. Pay attention to the small but significant mental itch that won’t go away – something is not quite right.

Uranus/Vesta challenges an area of rigid focus. You may be devoted to a certain rule, or be completely fixated on a narrow path. A disruption will shake this up – consider if you can look outside the box or if some of the rules need to be challenged. Sometimes a distraction opens your eyes to new possibilities.

November 27th, 2018: Hopeful Progress

  • Waning Trine between the Leo Moon and Sagittarius Sun (5 deg)

  • Sun conjunct Mercury Rx in Sagittarius (5 deg)

  • Mercury Rx conjunct Jupiter (4 deg)

  • Vesta conjunct the Capricorn South Node (28 deg)

Waning Trine

The Waning Trine allows you to share your talents or a creation that you’re proud of. Something special can be displayed or communicated, and others will be receptive. The energy is hopeful, forward-looking and vibrant.

This will involve the Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction (with Jupiter) which marks the midpoint of the Mercury’s retrograde (since Nov 16th) – here is a point of clarity that involves a reward or greater wisdom. Mercury Rx’s delays and reviews can deliver some benefits or open your eyes to something better. And this is what you’ll be sharing with others, or they will be sharing with you.

If you’ve been waiting for an answer or hint about what you’re supposed to do next, this could be it. Keep in mind that Mercury is still Rx, so the process is not complete. But this should mark a positive turning point.

Vesta

Vesta/South Node hi-lights a point of exclusive focus (or obsession). This could be something from the past, or an issue that’s ready to be developed further. It may involve rules, limits, traditions or authority. Now is the moment to finish it and move on – you can either stop focusing on it or see the results of what you’ve been devoting your energy to.

November 25th, 2018: Make Time to Nurture

  • Waning Inconjunct between the Cancer Moon and Sagittarius Sun/Jupiter (3 deg)

  • Mars in Pisces trine Ceres in Scorpio (5 deg)

The Waning Inconjunct takes the expansive energy of November 23rd’s Full Moon and reminds you that it’s time to pause and look after yourself or someone close to you. The Jupiter-fuelled situation has a personal side. Or, you need to honour some intimate needs/family/security amidst the rush of bigger issues. A matter involving right/wrong, exploration, faith or wisdom has a distinctly familiar angle.

Mars/Ceres can help with the above as compassionate or spiritual actions support deep nurturing. The more you let go, allow or move with the prevailing current, the greater the intensity of unconditional care and support. This is nurturing that is not afraid to move through loss to the other side.

November 22nd, 2018: From Taurus to Gemini

  • Moon in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn (19 deg)

  • Moon Void of Course in Taurus (4:58 AM EST)

  • Moon enters Gemini (11:10 PM EST)

The Moon’s final aspect before it goes VOC is an empowering trine to Pluto. This is a nice way to enter the VOC period, as existing resources, security or values will be gently but firmly intensified. You can sit with what you have or know, and rest assured that for the moment, it’s your best bet. Use the VOC period to work with what you already have, to calmly take stock of your resources or to empower yourself with what feels best for you.

The energy will shift from stable to scattered and energizing as the Moon enters Gemini. The tempo will increase – watch for a flurry of new developments, ideas and conversations that will propel you towards the November 23rd Gemini Full Moon.

  • Waxing Inconjunct between the Aries Moon and Scorpio Sun (28 deg)

  • Sun in Scorpio trine Chiron Rx in Pisces (28 deg)

  • Sun in Scorpio trine the Cancer North Node (28 deg)

The Waxing Inconjunct is a point of tension that reminds you there’s something new (Moon in Aries) to consider regarding an issue that’s almost complete. While it may feel more comfortable to keep something hidden or maintain that level of intensity, it’s time to add something more to the mix. Independent, external action or motivation may be needed. Or, you might have to respond to an external challenge.

Fortunately, the Scorpio Sun is part of a Grand Water Trine involving Chiron Rx (wounds, healing) in Pisces and the North Node (path forward) newly into Cancer. There should be a flow of energy that helps you deal with tension, and it will involve a new area of emotional expression or acknowledgement of authentic needs.

Note that the Aries Moon squares the South Node in Capricorn/North Node in Cancer, so that new development (which will demand courage) will be a key sticking point. You’ll have to act in order to progress to the place that feels real and nurturing. Follow the event or instinct that seems to be going there naturally – depth plus the acknowledgement of wounds can open up new emotional territory. It my seem a bit uncomfortable from a distance, but if you allow yourself to roll with it, you’ll see that this is where you’re meant to go.

November 18th, 2018: Flow Forward

  • Waxing Trine between the Pisces Moon and Scorpio Sun (28 deg)

  • Venus in Libra inconjunct Juno Rx in Taurus (25 deg)

The Waxing Trine is a point of integration between transcendence and depth, transpersonal and intense involvement. With this flowing energy you should feel a natural “click” that allows you to move forward through a dark, consuming or powerful issue with a measure of calm. The Moon in Pisces is about allowing – what will be, will be. Notice the gentle release as events move as they are meant to, and you open yourself up to whatever comes next.

The Venus/Juno inconjunct is the third of three (September 1st and November 3rd being the first two). With this aspect, you have continually confronted a disconnect between set agreements about resources/security (Juno in Taurus) versus one partner’s desire for more equality or flexibility. Maybe one partner wanted more of a partnership while the other was content with things the way they were.

Now with this final confrontation, use the flow of the Waxing Trine to move forward. Intimacy is integrated with acceptance, and control is no longer an issue.

November 15th, 2018: Take Action

  • Waxing Square between the Aquarius Moon and Scorpio Sun (23 deg)

  • Mars in Aquarius sextile Uranus Rx in Aries (29 deg)

The Waxing Square can disrupt control, survival or intimacy with an abrupt flash of something out of left field. A new development, break from the rules or external prompt can force you to bring something out into the open, or give up some control. Too, you may be compelled to detach yourself from a situation that’s been taking up all your energy. Is it time to step back or move forward from the fixation? The shock may be unpleasant but it’s a sign that a situation needs to be stirred up.

You need to take action.

Continuing the Uranus theme, Mars in the final degree of Aquarius makes a sextile to Uranus (ruler of Aquarius). Mars will enter Pisces later today, but before it does, the action planet gets a an encouraging nudge from Uranus – this energy favours stepping out of bounds, taking a mild risk or breaking with convention. Mars and Uranus are in mutual reception (in each other’s rulers) so the energy of sudden or rebellious actions is intensified.

However, the harmony of the sextile ensures that the delivery of this energy will be easy to handle (you won’t have to do anything too crazy) and this can help immensely with the Waxing Square (which is action-based crisis).

Now’s your moment to step forward, even if you don’t want to (especially if you don’t want to).

November 13th, 2018: Onwards

  • Moon in Capricorn square Venus Rx in Libra (25 deg)

  • Moon in Capricorn conjunct the South Node (29 deg)

  • Moon in Capricorn square Uranus Rx in Aries (29 deg)

  • Moon Void of Course in Capricorn (10:13 AM EST)

  • Moon enters Aquarius (10:45 AM EST)

  • Moon in Aquarius sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius (1 deg)

Things begin on a sober note as the authoritarian Capricorn Moon squares Venus Rx and conjoins the South Node: this is about revisiting a past relationship or self-esteem issue, and drawing that firm boundary. You’re saying goodbye or defining your parameters – pay attention to that sense of finality. Restrictions around what you want/love (or social tensions) are signs that it’s time to wrap something up.

As the Moon squares Uranus Rx, there may be a jolt or surprise that forcefully shatters any remaining limits or traditions from the past. The extremely brief Void of Course period gives you a bit of time to sit with what happened, then the Moon accelerates into detached Aquarius and makes a happy sextile to Jupiter. Watch for a significant energetic shift – a feeling of being lifted up and out. What weighed heavily on you is in your rearview mirror; it’s time to move on.

This aspect is all about future growth, hope and new possibilities.

  • Capricorn Moon sextile Neptune Rx in Pisces (13 deg)

  • Capricorn Moon conjunct Pluto (19 deg)

  • Capricorn Moon sextile Scorpio Sun (20 deg)

Today’s Waxing Sexitle is a point of ease – a chance to integrate the events of November 7th’s Scorpio New Moon. Moon/Neptune loosens the boundaries, allowing you to let go or go deeper. Too, issues of belief can be resolved. The conjunction to Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) adds emphasis to the Sun/Moon sextile- Capricorn’s structure (and Pluto’s power) give you something to work with, so you’re not floundering in Scorpio’s intense waters. You can gain traction around profound issues, a loss, death or deep Shadow work – use this to move forward and make the change.

Today’s energy can help you get comfortable with any deep transformations. You’ll find your footing if you tap into your inner authority or power (Capricorn is the key – be the adult, take responsibility, keep moving forward).

November 2nd, 2018: Waning Sextile and Jupiter Opposes Juno

  • Scorpio Sun square Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius (9 deg)

  • Waning Sextile between the Virgo Moon and Scorpio Sun (10 deg)

  • Jupiter in Scorpio opposite Juno Rx in Taurus (28 deg)

Waning Sextile

The Sun/BML square shines a dark light on female empowerment, rebellion and alienation. Being on the outside for not acting the way a woman “should” or for expressing taboo issues of female sexuality may be themes, with a tension that encourages the expression of ego and purpose. This can trigger the expression of woman’s power, but it won’t be easy and there will be a lot of resistance from others. BML’s destructive side (jealousy/vengeance) may come out.

Fortunately, this aspect is also part of the Waning Sextile with the Virgo Moon, which offers solutions via subtle refinements and attention to detail. You can make things better and progress naturally if you’re aware of the little things – the seemingly inconsequential but important words, the small but vital adjustments/improvements that need to be made. Overall, your goal is to take what’s dark/intense/taboo and refine it.

Jupiter/Juno

The Jupiter/Juno opposition presents the second of two oppositions in Scorpio/Taurus. Juno was Jupiter’s wife, and she was faithful to him despite his consistent philandering. Especially in the Fixed sign of Taurus, she represents the unshakable commitment.

When she opposes Jupiter, the ideals of/desire for expansion in that commitment will be at odds with the agreement itself. This is a key turning point between partners, but it’s not new -the issue may have emerged around August 3rd with the first opposition. One partner may be after deep transformation of the partnership while the other wants things to remain as is. This final opposition (with Juno Rx) suggests a re-evaluation of what was previously fixed. Material resources, set routines or security may be issues.

In general terms, this can represent a massive change or ending in any agreement (personal or professional). The enduring partnership must evolve or die.
