Venus/Chiron

When the planet of love, beauty and values unites with the Wounded Healer in Aries, we have a situation where the courage to love despite what hurts is triggered. This could be about loving yourself when you feel scared or weak. It could be about loving another despite their wounds or despite the vulnerabilities they make you aware of. It takes guts to align your values with what hurts, but that’s often the path to integrating Chiron’s pain.

Too, this can be about something you do that puts your vulnerabilities on display, and somehow others are attracted. Chiron is the maverick – magnetic and compelling. Venus in Aries adds raw attraction (not necessarily sexual). There’s beauty in being honest about fears/pain/embarrassments. The wound is fresh and that’s part of the attraction- there’s no artifice, no place to hide.

Mars/Pallas

Mars harmonizes with Pallas Rx, so the review (Rx) of social strategies can be successfully implemented (Mars) if you remain open to multiple choices. Meaning, keep it light and be ready to shift according to what the relationship or social vibe suggests. This isn’t about insisting on one way or demanding a particular response. You’re being smart as you listen to what others are saying and you respond accordingly.

Re-Entering What Still Remains Hidden | Starcana Cosmic Dirt

Expect the unexpected on Earth Day, Monday April 22 as a shocking Sun/Uranus conjunction excites our day with a twisted, surprising shift. Life can go in any direction – and we’re about to be awakened to some fresh truth from the slightest turn in direction as a rebellious nature fills the air. The wild gypsy […]

Venus’ Transit of Aries

Venus enters Aries on April 20th at 12:10 pm EDT. Relationships, money and self-esteem enter assertive new territory in this Mars-ruled sign. Venus in Aries is about attracting new opportunities or expressing your values in bold new ways. The energy is passionate and impulsive but necessarily long-lasting. At this point you’re going where instinct leads you: anything could happen. What is crucial is honesty – this transit can push you to acknowledge what you really want and if you’re ready to break away from whatever’s been restricting you.

This blends well with the Sun’s entrance into Venus-ruled Taurus, earlier in the day. Noting that the Sun is approaching Uranus in Taurus, these two planetary ingresses mark a definite shift in what you want, how you attract it and how you express your self-worth. Aries is competitive, and while Venus may express this indirectly, rest assured that this will be a factor in moving towards what you want. Competition may be attractive or you may be pushed to assert your values in new and uncomfortable ways by taking charge of what you want.

Again, this is all part of breaking free – say goodbye to complacency, stagnation and passivity.

Here are the aspects Venus in Aries will make:

  • Apr 23rd: conjunct Chiron (2 deg)

  • Apr 30th: trine Ceres Rx in Sagittarius (12 deg)

  • May 1st: conjunct Vesta (12 deg)

  • May 1st: opposite Pallas Rx in Libra (13 deg)

  • May 6th: square the Nodes (19 deg)

  • May 7th: square Saturn Rx in Capricorn (20 deg)

  • May 9th: trine Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius (23 deg)

  • May 9th: square Pluto Rx in Capricorn (23 deg)

  • May 14th: sextile Mars in Gemini (29 deg)

  • May 15th: Taurus ingress

April 19th, 2019: Mercury in Aries Conjunct Chiron

  • Mercury in Aries conjunct Chiron (3 deg)

Words (Mercury) are assertive (Aries) and painful (Chiron). But something needs to be said, even though it will offend. Aries is blunt and truthful but not malicious – this energy is about getting it out there and moving on.

This can also be an opportunity for you to put your pain into words – discuss what makes you feel weak. Maybe your bold statement makes you a scapegoat. Or, maybe others gravitate to the fresh wisdom they sense when you speak.

No matter how this plays out, the goal is healing- say it and be honest about it in order to commence the healing process. The wound won’t disappear (Chiron’s doesn’t work this way) but the goal is to confront and integrate. Own it, admit it and move forward with it.

April 18th, 2019: Aries Sun Sextile Black Moon Lilith

  • Aries Sun sextile Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius (28 deg)

Lilith’s dangerous woman/outsider is given a boost. Subjective ego and purpose are integrated with fringe expressions of women’s sexuality/power. A social issue may be illuminated, or you may feel that it’s time to express a part of yourself that people object to.

It takes courage to own taboo energy- to step forward from detachment and make it purely personal. To say “This is who I am.” This harmonious aspect allows you to do this in a way that’s effortless, but the energy of the sextile is so effortless that you could miss it.. Watch for the moment when you feel a slight nudge to step forward and declare what’s uncomfortable or forbidden – something that breaks the rules about how a woman “should” be.

April 17th, 2019: Waxing Inconjunct

  • Waxing Inconjunct between the Virgo Moon and Aries Sun (26 deg)

Here’s the frustrating pause and adjustment (the Waxing Inconjunct) that occurs before every Full Moon. In this case, before the April 19th Libra Full Moon we have a disconnect between details versus the urge to keep pushing forward. Momentum will slow but it cannot stop. But at the same time, you have to pay attention to the small flaws that demand a fix.

This will be frustrating because you’ll be torn between aggressively moving ahead versus being precise and a little humble. The challenge of the inconjunct is to honour both sides.
