Overview

The Sun enters Scorpio on October 23rd (1:26 am EDT) and conjoins Jupiter on October 26th. Events from the October 18th Mercury/Jupiter conjunction will be given added fuel, and Scorpio season in general will be coloured by this Jupiter transit. That means secrets, reveals, intensity and hidden resources. It may get darker, but there will opportunity (Jupiter) in that darkness. The deeper you go, the more you’ll have to work with, and the more meaning, faith and hope you’ll uncover.

This Scorpio season will be about internal journeys.

October 24th features a trine from Mercury in Scorpio to Neptune Rx in Pisces, which will enable all information and discussions pertaining to the above. Neptune will dissolve hesitation/writer’s block and dilute Scorpio’s darkness just enough so that it will be easier to look at and talk about what’s taboo.

On October 27th, Venus in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn, intensifying relationship, money and self-esteem issues. But the square is a crisis aspect, and in this case, the crisis will be about a power imbalance, craving or fear of loss. Pluto will amplify the desire for what you don’t quite have, or what you think you’re missing. Fortunately, Mercury in Scorpio will sextile Pluto on the same day. So your solution to the square will be a calm, honest confrontation with the facts. Talk about it or look at it, and you may find that the life or death “must have” is not as severe as you think.

Aries

The Sun into your sector of shared resources conjoins Jupiter, adding more emphasisto something that began around October 18th. Issues involving debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy will gain prominence and intensity. Your fears of losing control can increase, but you never really had control to begin with, so you might as well be open to what’s happening. Positive potentials include financial assistance and getting closer to someone special. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx will make intimate or difficult conversations easier to handle. You’ll be gifted with some profound realizations. Excellent for psychological work and the gentle reveal of secrets.

Aspects to Pluto in your career sector can trigger relationship tensions or competition/jealousy, although these issues won’t be overt. Watch for disguised power struggles or manipulation. A new or existing relationship can become more complicated if the other person has a hidden agenda. Look beneath the surface – use your intuition and access to hidden information to get to the truth.

Taurus

The Sun in your partnership sector conjoins Jupiter, expanding on potentials that began around October 18th. Intimacy and profound honesty grow in a new or existing relationship, as you and your partner explore deeper sources of mutual security. Hopes for your future together can become more tangible. If a relationship is ending, you should see future possibilities steadily increasing – there’s so much more to come. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx favours all communication (group, friends and one-on-one). Connections with others should feel almost effortless, as you’re guided by instinct and empathy.

Aspects to Pluto in your sector of opportunities suggests tense moments at work, with co-workers or around health/daily routines. What you want will be at odds with big-picture issues; ideals may be out of sync with reality, or someone in a position of power could be making things difficult. Your ability to deliver what’s needed could be challenged as the pressure increases. The solutions lies in one-on-one discussions. These can open the door to compromises, while allowing you to express your feelings.

Gemini

The Sun in your sector of routine conjoins Jupiter, triggering more work and/or more solutions. What began around October 18th will gain momentum, which means you can move forward with plans for self-improvement, a medical diagnosis or changes in your daily work. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx suggests discussions about work or health will favour compassion over logic. This can help you deal with extra pressure and the exposure of problems. Creative solutions are favoured – the long-term dream or ideal is possible.

Aspects to Pluto in your sector of shared resources suggests tense moments involving an obsessive attraction, jealousy or money issues. You may want someone/something to the extent that you end up taking things too far, or giving/spending what you don’t have. Use caution when celebrating or indulging. Fortunately, you also have some immediate solutions and facts at your fingertips. Apply what you know to the situation, especially if you’re having trouble differentiating between a healthy desire versus unhealthy obsession.

Cancer

The Sun in your sector of self-expression conjoins Jupiter, lighting up a happy potential that you became aware of around October 18th. New romance, creative work, play/celebrations or issues with children/pregnancy can take on added light. The more you consider possible, the better your results will be. You have a very nice shot at getting what you want, or impressing others with your talents – don’t hold back. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx encourages you to make your feelings known, publish your words or reach out to an audience. You can strike a profound chord with the masses, or with someone special, simply by tuning into what you feel and not overthinking.  Allow your thoughts to flow.

Aspects to Pluto in your partnership sector suggest some tricky relationship dynamics. Issues with home/family/a domestic partnership may bring a relationship imbalance to a head. Too, you could feel pressured to make changes before you feel ready. Or, you may be the one pushing for change. It is time to turn a corner (things cannot remain the same) but your best bet lies in open, creative suggestions, rather than power struggles or stubborn insistence. Talk it through – there’s plenty of room for compromise and you may still get what you want.

Leo

The Sun into your domestic sector conjoins Jupiter, adding fuel to the expansion and changes that began around October 18th. A relocation, renovation or developments with family can gain momentum, and Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx enables smooth discussions about home finances, debts, taxes, your partner’s finances or intimacy. Even if you’re confronting buried issues from the past, at the very least you should find it easier to move forward. Don’t force the conversation – allow things to unfold naturally and you’ll cover all the ground you need to.

Aspects to Pluto in your sector of routine indicate challenging conversations, diagnoses or instructions. There may be an intensified push to make changes/improvements, but the desired outcome will feel forced or manipulated. Gentle but direct requests/questions are your best bet. Rather than using passive-aggressive techniques, or disguising the truth with insincere compliments, just present the facts.

Virgo

The Sun into your communication sector conjoins Jupiter, adding more hope, confidence or perspective to a big idea/promise that first came to light around October 18th. This could be the next stage of your plan/promotion/publication, fuelled by confidence that everything will work out. And you do stand a higher than usual chance of success. If you’ve been digging for information, you can illuminate even more, and your timing will be bang on. Excellent for special requests or ambitious plans. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx helps out with a naturally developing, one-on-one discussion. A partner or close friend will feel what you’re saying, and will be very receptive to your ideas. Also good for non-judgemental listening.

Aspects to Pluto in your sector of self-expression can churn up jealousy, obsessive attraction or distorted attempts to make yourself feel better. If you’re feeling ignored, insecure or unsatisfied, this aspect can push you to overspend or overplay your hand. Rather than comparing what others have to what you’re lacking, or focusing on a lack of appreciation, use your intensified drive and communicate. Passionate writing and discussions will provide an outlet for this energy, and give your words a powerful impact. Just remember that you cannot force a desired reaction. State your case and leave it at that.

Libra

The Sun into your sector of personal resources conjoins Jupiter, expanding on lucrative potentials that began around October 18th. More money (or more expenses) can accelerate, as you’re energized to expect more, look after yourself, or indulge. This energy is about realizing that what you’re worth can increase. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx opens up discussions about work and health – information and ideas should flow naturally, and you shouldn’t have to push to get what you need.

Aspects to Pluto in your domestic sector (including the square to Venus in your sign) can increase your ability to magnetize, but will also trigger tense undercurrents based on family issues or struggles for control. An attraction or personal goal can feel all-consuming; try to maintain a balance between what you want versus what’s actually available. Clear, calm communication about what you need can take the edge off, and remind you that it will be ok if you don’t get everything you want. Part of the intensity is due to Pluto’s all or nothing vibe, even if the situation doesn’t seem that extreme on the surface.

Scorpio

The Sun into your sign conjoins Jupiter, bringing you more of what began around October 18th. A plan, potential or new chapter can gain momentum, along with your increasing power and optimism. Keep looking ahead. If Jupiter has expanded something less pleasant, the Sun can illuminate things, so at least you’ll know where you stand and how deep it goes. Mercury in your sign trines Neptune Rx, gifting you with persuasion, creativity and an almost magical ability to say the right thing. The trick is not to force it – the right words should come naturally, and you’ll have a sense of when to speak up and when to stay quiet. Excellent for promoting yourself or impressing someone.

Aspects to Pluto in your communication sector suggest there’s more going on behind the scenes. A hidden attraction, personal goal or desire can trigger some oddly intense conversations or thoughts. Fortunately, Mercury in your sign makes a supportive sextile to Pluto, so all you have to do is say/write what you mean. Your words will have significant power, and you’ll be able to get to the bottom of things without too much effort. Trust your instincts.

Sagittarius

The Sun in your hidden sector conjoins Jupiter, adding heat to a hidden potential that first came to light around October 18th. The dream is gaining strength – what’s in the background will continue to expand, so don’t ignore it. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx enables the smooth discussion of secrets, buried family issues or creative ideas that you’ve had trouble putting into words (until now).

Aspects to Pluto in your sector of personal resources can trigger jealousy, intense attraction or odd moments of competition amongst friends or groups. A social outing may trigger uncomfortable moments of manipulation or bitchiness. Too, you may find that public reaction to what you’re selling/promoting is not quite as pleasant as you thought it would be. Consider your primary motivation – what do you want to get out of this interaction? Tuning in to what you sense (the unspoken words behind the words) can help – you do have access to hidden truths. Pay attention to what’s really going on, and act accordingly.

Capricorn

The Sun into your social sector conjoins Jupiter, expanding on developments with friends, groups or the public that began around October 18th. A deepening association, public commitment or public launch can gain momentum. So can public exposure. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx ensures that communication is open, sensitive and easily received. Discussions with others can flow naturally, opening up even greater possibilities.

Aspects to Pluto in your sign can trigger an urge for achievement or recognition at work, in a professional relationship or concerning your home business. However, you may end up pushing a bit too much as you set your sights on something/someone – be careful that ambition is not misplaced. Your professional image could also be up for an overhaul. Mercury’s sextile to Pluto in your sign urges you to talk/think it through – you’ll have access to advice from others and your own powerful insight.

Aquarius

The Sun into your career sector conjoins Jupiter, revealing a bit more about your future. The first hints may have been presented around October 18th, and now future potentials(involving a job search, future goals or job change) are demanding even more energy from you. It’s all good, because you’re fully committing yourself to your best path. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx suggests positive ideas/discussions about earned money and emotional security will be involved.

Aspects to Pluto in your hidden sector can trigger unforeseen compulsions or insecurities, as fears of ultimate change/loss cause you to struggle with future possibilities. Long-distance issues, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing may reflect one thing on the surface, but underneath, there’s something more going on. Your best approach is to make plans for the future –  acknowledge what scares you/what’s been kept secret, talk to someone in authority, and be open about what’s really happening. Career issues can benefit from deeply honest conversations.

Pisces

The Sun into your opportunities sector conjoins Jupiter, bringing increased access or fervour for something that began around October 18th. Long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing can continue to gain prominence, as you’re encouraged to keep exploring/moving forward. Mercury’s trine to Neptune Rx in your sign continues the expansion theme, as a conversation/idea/new subject of interest seeps into all corners of your life.

Aspects to Pluto in your social sector can stir up tensions around debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Social pressure/prompts may trigger deeper compulsions or fears of losing control. You may want more/spend more, but keep track of how far you’re going. If you start to lose sight of what’s really happening, it can help to step back and take the long view – consider future ramifications, or reach out to someone (a mentor or teacher) who has knowledge of what you’re dealing with.

Overview

October 17th sees Mercury’s Scorpio ingress. Secrets, deep truths and transformative facts will be given a voice, and this will be amplified by Mercury’s conjunction with Jupiter on October 18th. Here we have a powerful combination of detail (Mercury) and vision (Jupiter) in a sign that demands absolutes. Words and ideas will have a massive impact.

The October 19th Libra New Moon opposes Uranus Rx in Aries and makes an awkward inconjunct to Chiron Rx in Pisces. What begins will be quick and disruptive/exciting. Events will not be moderate, and there’s bound to be some vulnerabilities triggered (even if events are relatively positive). Mars’ Libra ingress on October 22nd adds more fuel to an already volatile situation. Mars activates and motivates, even in a sign that’s not know for being assertive. The time for indecision is over – the Uranus-powered New Moon and Mars may force your hand. Having said this, Libra-flavoured Mars acts indirectly and the dynamic of action/reaction will be crucial. Be aware of projection and return fire.

Aries

Mercury into your sector of shared resources conjoins Jupiter, amplifying discussions about debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Shared information or financial documents can become overwhelmingly important, along with an obsessive drive to learn more or convince the other person. Breadth and depth of knowledge are enhanced, therefore, this influence favours psychological work and research.

The New Moon in your partnership sector (opposite Uranus Rx in your sign) suggests a new relationship can hit out of the blue. Someone could appear to be the embodiment of your craving for a fresh start/freedom – you attract what you put out. An existing relationship could be rocked by unexpected developments. Even if you are the instigator, the speed and force of impact may catch you off guard. Mars into your partnership sector adds more fuel to the above events, with increased passion and/or arguments. If you’re looking for a challenge, this is it.

Taurus

Mercury into your relationship sector conjoins Jupiter, opening up an intimate discussion in a new or existing relationship. Deep honesty is combined with optimism and the desire to know more (or know everything) about each other. For some, discussions may feel a bit pushy if you’re not accustomed to full disclosure and probing questions.

The New Moon in your sector of routine suggests an abrupt new beginning involving work routines, health or co-worker relationships. The unexpected can disrupt your habits and see you scrambling to accommodate extra demands. It may take you some time to regain your balance and find a consistent approach. Mars’ move into this sector can add more work/obligations, but also more energy for you to tackle it all. These influences can be accident-prone, so use some caution.

Gemini

Mercury into your sector of routine conjoins Jupiter, bringing new (and perhaps overwhelming) information about work tasks or health issues. On the plus side, you’ll be ready to dig deep for solutions – a fix could could be bigger and better than anticipated.  Conversations with medical professionals or co-workers can be fruitful. Challenging possibilities include the emergence of unpleasant, previously hidden facts. Too, you may develop a fixation with a particular work/health issue.

The New Moon in your sector of self-expression suggests a startling development involving creative work/performance, a new attraction or children/pregnancy. This can be the time to go public or openly express your desires, but be aware that the reactions of others will be unexpected. Mars’ move into this sector will fire up your desire to play, create, impress or show off. If you’re comfortable with the New Moon’s events, Mars can encourage you to take things further.

Cancer

Mercury into your sector of self-expression conjoins Jupiter, urging you to communicate openly and passionately. A new attraction, creative work or issues involving children/pregnancy are supported, with optimistic news that boosts your confidence. Excellent for impressing others with your thoughts, or simply writing/saying more.

The New Moon in your domestic sector suggests surprising developments at home, with family or with a home business will be connected to changes in your professional life. An abrupt shift in future goals, a new job or break from an existing job can hit suddenly, with a dramatic rebalancing of personal priorities. Mars into your domestic sector can add fuel to these changes as you prepare to relocate, juice up your home business or make improvements around the home.

Leo

Mercury into your domestic sector conjoins Jupiter, increasing the impact of family discussions or home documents. There will be more to discuss or sign, and information from the past may be dredged up. You can make serious headway with a frustrating subject that’s been simmering for awhile, but be prepared for the floodgates to open if sensitive family issues are touched on.

The New Moon in your communication sector suggests an abrupt realization, announcement or conversation can open your eyes to a whole new reality. Information can hit quickly, or you may make a snap decision. Mars’ move into this sector adds passion and/or anger to what you’re communicating – you could be motivated to speak out, demand more or (conversely) someone could challenge you. Mars may not be super aggressive in Libra, but anger/assertiveness is still expressed, albeit with a social gloss.

Virgo

Mercury into your communication sector conjoins Jupiter, adding depth and persuasion to your words. If you have something to announce or discuss, this is the ideal influence – intensity will combine with intellectual depth and optimism. Also excellent for studying. Too, you could be the recipient of a powerful conversation or offer that captivates you with intriguing possibilities.

The New Moon in your sector of personal resources suggests surprising developments with earned money, security or self-esteem. Issues with intimacy, debts, taxes or a partner’s finances can have an unforeseen impact on what you own or what makes you feel good/stable. Too, you may suddenly decide to change the way you’ve been doing business, with new rates or demands for compensation. Mars’ move into this sector increases your drive to push for more.

Libra

Mercury into your sector of personal resources conjoins Jupiter, helping you get more from discussions about salary, self-esteem or security. You’re hooked into savvy and intuitive energy – if you have a request involving what you want or earn, speak up. You’ll know what’s best for you, and you can be quite persuasive.

The New Moon in your sign can quickly propel you into a new chapter regarding relationships, public identity, lifestyle or physical appearance. Beginnings will be swift and uncompromising. There can be excitement, but you may also feel a bit rattled as events trigger insecurities around health, work or daily routines. Mars’ move into your sign helps you out with added courage and assertiveness (delivered with full social awareness, of course).

Scorpio

Mercury’s move into your sign, and the conjunction with Jupiter, gifts you with persuasion, powerful insight and the ability to sell/promote/convince. You can get your point across and win others over with your intense conviction, backed up by knowledge and intuition. This is a winning combination. It also suggests the exposure of buried information could be to your advantage, even if the initial reveal makes you uncomfortable.

The New Moon in your hidden sector suggests surprising reveals about background issues. Health or work routines could be jolted as something new comes to light, and you may still not have all the information. As Mars enters your hidden sector, it’s time to dig deeper and bank your efforts, until Mars enters your sign. Prepare, but don’t act (yet).

Sagittarius

Mercury into your hidden sector conjoins Jupiter, allowing you access unusual, hidden or intuitive sources of information. What’s not obvious or logical will be important – pay attention to behind-the-scenes issues and developing potentials. Dreams could be especially clarifying.

The New Moon in your social sector can bring surprising public events/displays, or abrupt developments with friends/groups. A significant meeting could catch you off guard. The reactions of others to your launch/performance/announcement could have a more powerful impact than you anticipated. The reveal of something personal (or something in your domestic life) could also make you feel uneasy. As Mars enters this sector, the pace will increase – people will react even more strongly to what you’re putting out, and you will be motivated to make your point or push forward with your project. This energy is volatile, but if handled correctly, you can make a significant impact that draws favourable attention your way. “Correctly” means being conscious of how your actions impact others, and avoiding the urge to project anger/impatience.

Capricorn

Mercury into your social sector conjoins Jupiter, giving you the upper hand in all communication involving friends, groups or the public. Your words will be powerful and convincing, and you’ll also have the ability to zero in on the truth (even if someone is hiding it from you). Excellent for selling, promoting, a public launch, publication or speech.

The New Moon in your career sector can throw you a curve ball regarding a new job, new development at work/with management or a development at home that impacts your career goals. What appeared to be settled may do a complete 180, and your view of success/the future could change. Mars’ move into this sector ups your determination to succeed or compete as you play the game – you’ve got energy to fuel your ambitions, even if you’re dealing with the unanticipated.

Aquarius

Mercury into your career sector conjoins Jupiter, giving you power for discussions with management, a job search or promoting your business. Expansive vision combines with eloquence and an eye for strategic details, as well as the ability to promote yourself. Excellent for making decisions about your future.

The New Moon in your sector of opportunities suggests surprising developments in the areas of long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing. A new door into the unknown could open unexpectedly, or you could make an abrupt decision/announcement about your future plans. Some of this may be triggered by financial or emotional insecurities. Mars’ move into this sector can increase your drive to push further into new territory, fight for a cause or agitate for something you believe in. There is also the possibility of a short, unexpected trip.

Pisces

Mercury enters your sector of opportunities and conjoins Jupiter, focusing you on something intriguing in the areas of long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing. You could learn of something unusual or untried, and you may be a bit intimated by the amount of commitment expected. Know that this could be quite good for you. Too, this is an excellent influence if you’re looking for a wider audience for your words.

The New Moon in your sector of shared resources suggests a sudden shift in the balance of what you owe or share. Debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy can accelerate into a new chapter, or change the balance of power between you and another. The inconjunct to Chiron Rx in your sign suggests you may feel uneasy with these changes, whether or not they present something favourable. Mars’ move into your shared resources sector can increase passion and/or anger between you and another, or it can stir up buried resentments about what you have to pay off. On the plus side, you’ll be highly motivated to make some changes, even if you don’t have complete control over what’s happening.

Horoscopes for October 8th to October 15th, 2017

Overview

October 8th features a superior conjunction between the Libra Sun and Mercury. This is a culmination In the Sun/Mercury dance. The last conjunction (when Mercury was Rx in Virgo) occurred on August 26th, and marked the start of the cycle. These two dates may be connected.

October 9th sees Sun/Mercury square Pluto in Capricorn, which will make this culmination particularly intense. The answer or result will involve a struggle for control, for truth or the assertion that one person is right. But the struggle may be covert, with pleasant words and smiles on the surface.

October 10th sees the start of Jupiter’s one-year transit of Scorpio. Jupiter’s expansion in this all-or-nothing sign can open up extreme behaviour, obsessions or success. Jupiter will amplify existing potentials, so much depends on what’s happening in the Scorpio-occupied house(s) of your chart. Either way, this is not a light-hearted transit: total commitment is demanded. To make the most of it, be prepared to honestly acknowledge your Shadow and aim to dedicate yourself to something healthy and empowering. This applies whether you’re exploring ugly issues (sometimes this is necessary in order to regenerate) or growing your financial and emotional power. The key is understanding the difference between Scorpio’s healthy (courage, authentic power) and distorted (manipulation, wallowing in self-destruction) sides.

Venus in Virgo squares Saturn on October 8th, opposes Chiron on October 10th, and Mars in Virgo squares Saturn on October 11th. Mars then opposes Chiron on October 15th. These aspects can be particularly challenging, as what you want (Venus) and what you do to get it (Mars) triggers wounds and limits. The flaw or lack of something will be hi-lighted, and there will be no quick fix. It’s important to acknowledged what’s broken while understanding that the path to improvement may involve moving on, forgiving, or stepping away entirely. An opposition between Mercury in Libra and Uranus Rx (also on October 15th) coincides with the Mars/Chiron opposition – painful actions and shocking words will make for a tricky combo.

On October 14th, Venus enters Libra, the sign she rules. This can smooth some of the aboveedges, as relationships and all social interactions get a shot of diplomacy and cooperation. Various aspects to Venus will also emphasize existing imbalances, but in general, this transit can make it easier to relate, say the nice thing (rather than the right thing) and smile (even if you don’t feel like it).

Aries

Sun/Mercury in your partnership sector square Pluto, delivering a challenging relationship answer or powerful understanding that reveals deeper power dynamics. Competition or manipulation may come to light through tense conversations. This can involve a personal or business partnership.

Jupiter into your sector of shared resources can build on the above, as uncomfortable discussions trigger developments in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Positive and negative potentials in these areas will grow. This means there could be more debt(if spending is not under control) or the discovery of hidden resources. Intimacy can increase, but so can jealousy and possessiveness. Much depends on what’s happening beneath the surface, and how you approach matters involving sharing, merging and relinquishing control.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of routine can trigger hidden wounds and vulnerabilities. Work or health can be compromised by what you’re ignoring or not fully aware of – added pressure may limit your actions while adding extra work –  make an effort to fully acknowledge what’s going on behind the scenes. While there’s no immediate fix available, you can prioritize what can be improved, and what you have to let go of. Mercury’s opposition to Uranus in your sign will make it impossible to avoid the above issues, as an abrupt announcement or clarification draws your attention to what’s broken or ineffective. Work relationships or a partnership imbalance may be themes.

Venus’ move into your relationship sector can provide some relief, with an increase incooperation and your ability to attract.

Taurus

Sun/Mercury in your sector of routine square Pluto, uncovering an imbalance at work, or a flaw in your work habits/solutions. Too, you could be presented with challenging information about health. Added pressure to deliver an answer/solution can create anxiety, especially if your methods are challenged. Use the tension to focus on what can be improved – now’s the time to make effective corrections.

Jupiter into your partnership sector can expand an existing relationship, or trigger a new one. Profound intimacy and deep honesty are some of the developments you have to look forward to, as long as you’re ready to dive beneath the surface and embrace everything (good, bad and ugly). If an existing relationship is ready to end, this transit could open the exit doors for both of you. This is more likely if one or both partners need more intensity or authenticity.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of self-expression can reveal an insecurity or failure in the areas of new romance, artistic creation or performance. Putting yourself out there may not be as successful as you’d hoped, and you may find that your actions are limited by financial constraints or deeper fears/control issues. Nonetheless, if you risk nothing you gain nothing. How will know what you’re capable of unless you push those limits? The Mercury/Uranus opposition can deliver an immediate and surprising answer or reaction to the above, as the problem is abruptly clarified. Watch for a diagnosis or critique.

Venus’ move into your sector of routine can ease you forward with improved co-worker relationships or extra help/cooperation in the areas of work, health or daily activities.

Gemini

Sun/Mercury in your sector of self-expression square Pluto, pushing you to speak out, seek attention or reveal your feelings. While the goal may be positive, stay alert to what’s driving you. Hidden issues involving jealousy, compulsions or fear of losing control can trigger words/conversations with a manipulative edge. Too, you may not enjoy the attention you receive.

Jupiter into your sector of routine can increase your workload and your attention to health/diet/exercise. More on your plate may be positive (a new job, increased energy) or challenging (emphasized health issues or increased obligations). Either way, you’ll be looking at how you can get more from your daily routines and self-care – it’s time to go deeper and commit yourself completely to a powerful, intensive approach to daily life.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in domestic sector can trigger awkward family issues or wounds, as career disappointments (or fear of failure) come up. Your home base may not feel as secure as you’l like, and there can be extra pressure from a partner to step up. Home business, relocation or renovation may be other areas where you have to deal with delays and frustrations. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can alert you to what you’re missing (via external prompts) or can push you to speak out impulsively. Be especially careful with your words, as they can have an unforeseen impact on your public reputation. If you’re feeling disrespected or ignored, know that there’s nothing you can say or do, in the moment, to “fix” it. Instead, focus on your long-term goals and stick to what you know is true/solid. In some cases, events may open your eyes to a necessary change in your relationship with those in authority.

Venus’ move into your sector of self-expression can lighten the mood by increasing reasons to celebrate. Or, there could be a new, flirtatious attraction. Venus can also encourage you to develop your talents.

Cancer

Sun/Mercury in your domestic sector square Pluto, triggering an answer or concluding conversation with a partner that churns up deeper issues. The imbalance of power, or one partner’s attempt to dominate, may be key issues. Too, you could learn quite a bit about your projected shadow. Is there something you’re not admitting to?

Jupiter into your sector of self-expression suggests positive potential for children/pregnancy, new romance or performance/artistic work. What you want may or may not manifest (much depends on how realistic your goals are), but an increased craving will certainly be there. You can use this energy surge to create something authentic while increasing personal freedom and pride – this means expressing your deepest urges in healthy, productive ways. For some, the urge to play/indulge will increase – this transit can trigger extremes of behaviour, so take note ofthe difference between enjoyment versus overindulgence.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your communication sector will reveal restrictions on what you can say. Your words can stir up painful issues or embarrassing inaccuracies. Too, you may be confronted with limits around a previously encouraging conversation or piece of information. Don’t try to push past the restriction or deny the error – focus on what you can do and say to honestly address the issue. The Mercury/Uranus opposition suggests an abrupt discovery involving domestic and/or career issues may contribute.

Venus’ move into your domestic sector can ease some of the above as home becomes a place of retreat and/or support. You may need to pull back and take comfort in what’s familiar. Venus also supports small home improvements and family celebrations.

Leo

Sun/Mercury in your communication sector square Pluto, triggering an answer, understanding or conversation with challenging undertones. You may be pushed to prove your ideas or deliver results (that seem unfair) in a work or health matter. Too, you could be the one doing the pushing, as you attempt to exert control by hammering your point home or insisting on a certain outcome. Something that you learn could reveal deeper unpleasantries. Discussions with siblings could also be featured. In all cases, stay aware of the shadow behind the words (yours or theirs). There is more to the story, and if you’re attempting to manipulate, know that this can backfire.

Jupiter into your domestic sector can signal a relocation or expansion of your family. Home improvements are a possibility, as is increased intimacy and security in a domestic partnership. You can uncover more emotional or financial resources in the areas that are closest to you. However, since Jupiter expands everything, any negative domestic issues will also be amplified – past memories/experiences may bubble up.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of personal resources can hi-light a financial shortfall or something that you’re lacking. You may want to fill that void, but you’ll have to be selective about how you do it – your options will be temporarily limited, and self-sufficiency and patience are called for. Joint finances or debts may have to be addressed. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can draw your attention to the above with a surprising request or discovery – you may uncover more than you bargained for, and the information will be valuable.

Venus’ move into your communication sector infuses all conversations/interactions with grace, cooperation and charm. Reaching out to others should be easier, and you can attract with your flirtatious words or ability to say the right thing at the right time.

Virgo

Sun/Mercury in your sector of personal resources square Pluto, suggesting a thought or conversation with obsessive qualities. Craving for something/someone will push you to speak out about what you feel you must have. Or, you could fixate on this, internally. Consider what the desire represents – chances are, you have the ability to provide this for yourself (you already have the resources). In some cases, discussions about salary or emotional requirements will be challenging due to hidden power plays. If you’re not getting what you feel reflects your worth, this is the time to speak up.

Jupiter into your communication sector can open the floodgates regarding writing and speaking. You’ll have more to communicate, and it may not all be pleasant – deep honesty makes many people uncomfortable. Too, you could become entranced by a new subject, idea or area of study. This is not the time to hold back – immerse yourself in whatever catches your interest.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your sign can trigger a painful relationship moment, while making you aware of unavoidable domestic responsibilities. What you’re trying to manifest may not come easily, and your efforts could trigger someone else’s insecurities. Feelings of inadequacy cannot be erased with a neat fix, and some of what you’re facing may involve your letting go rather than making things better. At the same time, you’ll have to accept that your increased efforts and patience in one area (home, family, renovations or a domestic relationship) are necessary. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can open your eyes to a particularly painful issue involving finances or intimacy.

Venus’ move into your sector of personal resources can take the edge off financial worries/emotional insecurity, with increased attraction energy that brings you what you want. There could be a financial gift, a small increase in earnings or an opportunity to feel better about yourself. Venus can restore the balance between what you’re craving versus what you already have.

Libra

Sun/Mercury in your sign square Pluto, pushing you to speak out or decide, although the push may feel invasive. Family issues, challenges from a family member, or buried impulses may drive you to say more than intended. Too, there could be a discovery about something from the past.

Jupiter into your sector of personal resources can boost your potential to earn more or spend more. The urge to expand your security base will be there, and much depends on how you use it. You can become proactive about getting more from your job or business, while feeling more confident that you’re worth it. But if you’re feeling a lack of something, this energy can cause you to overdo it and substitute material indulgences for genuine security.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your hidden sector suggest the disappointment of a dream, secret desire or unrealized potential. This does not have to be an absolute “No” but there will be a reality check on what you haven’t fully clarified or brought out into the open. Painful confrontations with reality will force you to look closely at what you’re trying to manifest. Mercury in your sign opposing Uranus can see you making an unexpected declaration, or receiving some surprising news.

Venus’ move into your sign can ease some of the above discomfort, as you’re gifted with increased charm, attraction power and and self-esteem. This transit is about enjoying your natural talents (since Venus rules your sign) – you won’t have to make an effort to attract, you can simply be yourself. It’s time to appreciate your ability to relate to almost anyone, while putting your best face forward.

Scorpio

Sun/Mercury in your hidden sector square Pluto, churning up secrets or deeper realizations. A comment, discussion or discovery could have a profound impact, as it peels back a final layer and exposes what’s authentic. While this may be uncomfortable, you’ll learn the truth.

Jupiter into your sign gifts you with more: more desire, more optimism to expand, more energy to go deeper. Is it time to commit yourself thoroughly to something?  You approach everything with all-or-nothing intensity, and Jupiter will increase this. To your benefit, efforts can bring huge rewards and an increase in personal power. On the negative side, an unhealthy obsession can grow – try to maintain some sense of perspective, and make sure the waters you’re diving into are not toxic.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your social sector suggest painful issues with a friend, group or your relationship to the public. What’s revealed can make you feel vulnerable or insecure, and your ability to act/react may be limited. Your best approach is a careful step forward (your actions may be open to judgement). The Mercury/Uranus opposition can fuel the above with a startling reveal or abrupt public exposure of a secret.

Venus’ move into your hidden sector can see you pulling back in response to the above. Allow yourself time to regroup and concentrate on what’s most precious to you (and no one else). For the time being, don’t concern yourself with what others are saying or thinking.

Sagittarius

Sun/Mercury in your social sector square Pluto, triggering public displays/announcements with friends or groups. The message that’s delivered or received will be powerful, but could put you on the spot or make you feel attacked. Too, you may be the one who’s forcefully making your point. Undercurrents of jealousy or insecurity (financial or emotional) can up the stakes, turning a social moment into a power struggle.

Jupiter into your hidden sector can stir up background issues that slowly but steadily leak out and dominate. What’s hidden can overwhelm you, as it takes on exaggerated importance. Your best approach to this is fearless honesty as you confront the issue – don’t ignore it in hopes it will fade away. Too, this transit can encourage positive but untapped potentials – an ultimate goal or desire can be activated. You’ll be urged to dive deeply into this area, with a no-limits approach.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your career sector can hi-light painful moments with those in authority. You may be caught off guard with lack of preparation, or a critique of your professional image/efforts. The square to Saturn in your sign suggests you’re capable of digging in and making some improvements – just be aware that in a big-picture sense, you won’t be able to make everything all better. It’s possible that your current path needs adjusting, or your relationship with someone in authority can only be improved so much. In some cases, a personal relationship (with someone you work with) can cause difficulties in your professional life. The opposition between Mercury and Uranus can bring the above issues to light with an unpleasant public jolt. Aim to be as polite and professional as possible, because your reactions will be in the spotlight.

Venus’ move into your social sector can ease things up a bit with a change in focus. Your public reputation can get a boost, as you connect with folks in a light and friendly way, while turning on the charm. Use Venus to reach others with your natural warmth and inclusivity – excellent for networking, or forgetting about difficult work issues and kicking back with friends.

Capricorn

Sun/Mercury in your career sector squares Pluto in your sign. Power struggles at work could come to a head, or you could have a discussion with/get results from management that challenges your personal power and drive for success. Depending on how you feel about your job, you could rise to the challenge or decide that it’s time to move on. Forceful competition will be a theme, and you might be put on the spot during an interview or work review.

Jupiter into your social sector can widen your social circle with new friends or groups, while improving your relationship to the public. Excellent if you’re trying to promote a business, network or simply meet new people. You could become immersed in a new social cause or activity that demands a lot from you, in terms of energy and emotional commitment.

Aspects to Venus and Mars in your sector of opportunities suggest difficulties around travel, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing. You could feel exposed or unprepared as you deal with the unknown. Hidden restrictions or fears could temporarily prevent you from moving ahead, and the Mercury/Uranus opposition suggests surprising announcements at work could be involved. Too, there could be stressful moments with public speaking or having to display your knowledge. While you may not be prepared for everything that hits, it will helpful if you acknowledge were you feel weakest, while taking into account any limits in your blindspot that may impact you.  Now’s the time to confront what you haven’t been acknowledging.

Venus’ move into your career sector can take the edge of career difficulties. Watch for an improvement in all professional relationships. This will be based to an extent on your ability to “play the game” – smile and say the polite thing. This is about your long-term strategies and future goals.

Aquarius

Sun/Mercury in your sector of opportunities squares Pluto, indicating that travel, legal matters, education or publishing can present difficult moments. You may be pushing for an answer that’s not forthcoming, or someone may challenge you with information that makes you feel powerless. Sensing that there’s more to the story, you may continue to dig for the truth or justice. Be cautious with this influence – even if you have the best intentions, pushing too hard can result in someone else feeling threatened, although this may occur behind the scenes. You won’t be fully aware of what’s going on, so keep all communication as polite and upfront as possible.

Jupiter into your career sector can bring positive attention in all business matters. Success, ambition and the desire for work that’s profoundly satisfying are features of this transit. This means if you’re stuck in a job that’s not right for you, Jupiter will magnify existing difficulties while pushing you towards something better. Your readiness to throw yourself into an authentic professional life (one that resonates to your core) will activate the energy of abundance in this transit.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your sector of shared resources can trigger insecurities in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. What you want may not be available from another, or you may discover a flaw that draws your attention to deeper dissatisfaction. Efforts to make changes/get closer/maintain control will be limited, and this goes forfears as well. There is something that you have no control over, and it may be up to others to provide the solution. Your task is to manage that lack of control with patience, resilience and acceptance of your current circumstances. If you owe money, this is the time to get organized and figure out a payment plan. If you haven’t been honouring boundaries (yours or theirs) it’s time to draw a line and slow down. The Mercury/Uranus opposition suggests some of the above may suddenly be revealed with an official announcement or flash of clarity that changes the balance of your faith.

Venus’ move into your sector of opportunities can offer a breath of fresh air, as more possibilities in the above scenarios open up. Your issue won’t be neatly solved, but you can discover assistance, encouragement or a receptive audience in new areas. What’s unexplored or just beyond your current threshold can hold something positive. And, you could find that your faith is renewed in unexpected ways.

Pisces

Sun/Mercury in your sector of shared resources suggests uncomfortable discussions or discoveries about debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Deeper truths may come out, and you could end up revealing or discovering more than you’re comfortable with. Research and physiological exploration are supported, but the drive to uncover the truth can become obsessive.

Jupiter into your sector of opportunities can open your eyes to something new in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publishing. The urge to explore or learn can intensify, along with your faith in the future. What’s calling may ask a lot of you – it’s not something you can casually sample. Uncharted waters will be deeper than anticipated, but the only way forward is to dive in.

Aspects to Mars and Venus in your partnership sector can trigger painful relationship moments. A significant person may trigger your sensitivities with their actions, and you may find that this interaction draws your attention to limits in your future. Your power will be restricted in this scenario, so focus on looking after yourself and acknowledging your wounds. Watch for the temptation to project or martyr yourself. The Mercury/Uranus opposition can abruptly reveal a secret or buried issue, regarding the above.

Venus’ move into your sector of shared resources can draw your attention to deeper issues of financial or emotional imbalance. On the plus side, Venus suggests some positive financial or relationship developments, but much depends on how you’ve beenhandling what you share or owe. Venus can also encourage you to develop hidden resources and strategies.

Horoscopes for October 1st to October 8th, 2017

Overview

Building on today’s trine between Mars and Pluto, Venus in Virgo completes a trine with Pluto on October 3rd. The combined energies of Venus (what you want) and Mars (what you do to get it) are intensified by Pluto, suggesting a smooth flow of manifestation. Ground your desires in the present, and take steps to make them happen.

Venus and Mars will perfect their conjunction on October 5th, the same day as the Mars-ruled Aries Full Moon. The Aries/Libra polarity is reflected in this conjunction, suggesting that Full Moon results will involve correct (Virgo) actions (Mars) aimed at fixing or improving a desired (Venus) situation. The Libra Sun conjoins Mercury (ruler of Virgo) and Sun/Mercury make confusing inconjuncts to Neptune. Separating fact from fiction could be challenging.

Virgo insists on high standards and rigorous clarity. This will be further emphasized by Venus’ square to Saturn in Sagittarius, exact on October 8th. The Sun/Mercury conjunction in Libra will also perfect on this day. Mars is applying to a square with Saturn, exact on October 11th. Progress from the Pluto trines may hit a snag around the Full Moon, or up to October 11th. Saturn will slow things down, demand proof, hi-light what’s missing, or deliver hard consequences. Extra work will be featured, as you discover that what you want requires even more effort.

But if you really want this, it’s worth it.

Aries

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of routine trine Pluto, fortifying your work efforts, health and energy level. You can make steady progress in career or diet/exercise if you focus on the small issues and make necessary corrections. Excellent for improving relationships with co-workers or gaining favourable attention from management, clients or the public. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will remind you of limits in the above areas, via excess responsibilities or physical restrictions. If you hit a block, slow down and confront the problem with a step-by-step approach. If you’re presented with excess responsibilities, aim for a scrupulous approach (don’t rush it).

The Full Moon in your sign can hi-light a crucial relationship conversation or understanding. An imbalance between you and another may be revealed, and what’s expected of you may feel unfair. Consider the role that your daily workor habits play in the Full Moon’s outcome. Secrets or unacknowledged expectations can undermine your efforts – be crystal clear onthe details, and ground yourself in the immediate facts (avoid mind reading or projecting your hopes).

Taurus

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of self-expression trine Pluto, intensifying a romantic attraction, creative project or personal goal. What you want/love can manifest, and you may find support via education, long-distance travel, legal matters or publishing. The further you venture into new territory, the more you can gain. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will remind you that there’s more work to be done, or that you may not get the complete package. Financial or intimacy restrictions can slow you down. Don’t give up (if you really want this, it’s worth the effort) but do be aware of boundaries or the need for patience.

The Full Moon in your hidden sector can reveal a truth about work or health issues. Something you’ve been avoiding, or something in your blindspot, can make itself known via your daily routines or attention to practical details. Consider if your efforts to succeed, gain attention or impress someone have created an imbalance. Also, be wary of misguided ideals/insecurities triggered by an external source. Acknowledge the bigger picture (or ultimate goal) but don’t lose sight of your immediate concerns. Especially crucial if this involves a public launch, promotion or performance.

Gemini

Venus (and Mars) in your domestic sector trine Pluto, encouraging progress with family, a home renovation, home business or relocation. Home finances or your partner’s financial status look encouraging, as do all domestic relationships. Watch for a deepening sense of trust – the more you share, the stronger you are. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can emphasize tension around a particular relationship goal or commitment. You and your partner may have different ideas about what the future holds, or there may be a struggle to achieve the desired goal. Too, you could feel pressured to make everything better or meet your partner’s standards. Do what you can while accepting that more improvements will happen in the future.

The Full Moon in your social sector can illuminate an issue with friends, groups or your relationship to the public. A public launch, speech or event may be slightly mismatched with your ideals. Too, the impact on your professional life/dealings with management could be disappointing. Consider how your public efforts are influenced by your personal/family life. Efforts you make at home will have an external impact, even if those efforts are a result of increased stress. Don’t allow professional disillusionment to distract you from responsibilities in your personal life.

Cancer

Venus (and Mars) in your communication sector trine Pluto, suggesting a smooth, intense flow of words/ideas between you and another. An existing partnership (or new relationship) can benefit from your direct approach – say what you want, then follow up with actions. Keep it grounded in the present moment and you won’t be perceived as too pushy, and you’ll stand a good chance of getting what you want. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will remind you that there are some practical details (involving work or health) that must be attended to. Your words must be rock solid, and proven down to the last detail. This is not the time for maybe or sort of – keep it precise and be prepared to back up your ideas with work. You may discover than an initially promising message/conversation comes with built-in limits. There’s more work to be done before you get desired results.

The Full Moon in your career sector can present a powerful result involving a new job, your professional image or your relationship with someone in authority. Career goals may need some adjusting, as your promising communication/request hits a snag. As noted above, your best way forward is to keep all information/actions as clear and precise as possible. Have proof of everything, and be prepared to show your work. If the result is not what you hoped for, don’t give up – focus on the present and tackle the immediate issue.

Leo

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of personal resources trine Pluto, giving you a financial and self-esteem boost. Changes in your work and/or health regime can pay off nicely, helping you manifest visible results. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will keep you on a narrow path, as you encounter limits that restrict your finances or dent your confidence. What you want demands extra work and restraint- results may not come quickly, but you’re on the right track.

The Full Moon in your sector of opportunities can bring results around long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing. An official announcement or answer may be confusing, or there could be hidden information to consider. Efforts to boost money/security will be connected to this Full Moon, and you’ll have to consider all the facts (especially the unspoken ones). Don’t allow secrets or buried information to undermine your hard work.

Virgo

Venus (and Mars) in your sign trine Pluto, increasing your confidence, attraction power and drive to succeed. Your dedication to something you want can pay off, but the Venus/Mars square to Saturn is a reminder that there’s more work to be done before you get it right. Isn’t that always the case? You’re no stranger to extra effort, so this should be business as usual. Take stock of your recent success, and keep pushing. Domestic responsibilities may slow you down, so you’ll have to work within those parameters.

The Full Moon in your sector of shared resources suggests results involving debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. A fact may be illuminated, along with a relationship disappointment. Too, financial details or promises between you and another may be confusing – don’t allow certain things to go unsaid. Get all the facts out on the table, especially if home finances or family concerns are involved. There may be additional responsibilities that you hadn’t considered. Fortunately, you have the power to deal with this, even if some of your efforts are limited.

Libra

Venus (and Mars) in your hidden sector trine Pluto, adding weight and purpose to a hidden attraction or goal. Background developments will be supported by domestic changes or a redefinition of your base identity – watch for a quiet but sure sense that things are unfolding as they should. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can trigger frustrations in the form of difficult news or confrontations with reality. Rather than folding under the weight of these developments, use the increased pressure to refine and clarify background developments. Good intentions aren’t enough – proof of intent is needed.

The Full Moon in your partnership sector can present a relationship turning point that features your answer or request. Watch for an emerging understanding of hidden issues. Your partner may push for a decision, or you may decide that it’s time to clarify things. Whether you’re asking or answering, you’ll be challenged to provide specifics and stand firm on what you decide. No waffling allowed- this is a now-or-never scenario. If someone asks you exactly how you plan on accomplishing X, Y or Z, make sure you have a solid answer.

Scorpio

Venus (and Mars) in your social sector trine Pluto, suggesting solid progress in a friendship, new social connection, group activity or public launch. Your public image/reputation will benefit from a deepening focus on authentic ideas – if you have something to say that you’re passionate about, speak up. Relationships can intensify (favourably) and there is the possibility of an emerging romance. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn will trigger some tension with others. You’ll have to be careful that you don’t overstep boundaries, or push a situation further than it’s ready to progress. Too, you may be challenged to prove your worth (publicly). Financial restrictions can play a role.

The Full Moon in your sector of routine can illuminate a background issue/secret in the areas of health, work or unbalanced relationships. What you’ve suspected (or what’s been lurking in your blind spot) can be made very public, and there may be demands for you to explain yourself. Too, the results of a hidden issue can be made public. There may be a temptation to fudge the facts or brush the whole situation off. Or, someone may use pretty words to distract you from the facts. Either way, the hard truth is your only way forward – own up to what you’ve been avoiding, and don’t accept excuses from anyone else.

Sagittarius

Venus (and Mars) in your career sector trine Pluto, helping to solidify an emerging career goal, business, or professional relationship. What’s taking shape can earn you more, while boosting your self-esteem and professional reputation. Professional connections can be especially lucrative. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn in your sign will remind you that success takes extra work – this will not be handed to you. Increased responsibilities can delay a desired outcome (such as a new job), but that doesn’t mean it’s off the table. You may simply have to dig in and prove you’ve got what it takes. Regarding work relationships, make sure you keep things professional- your reputation could be impacted.

The Full Moon in your sector of self-expression suggests a public event, launch or result that displays your talents. Networking, public messages or public speaking will be hi-lighted, and how you cooperate with others in authority will be key. Watch for mixed messages or projected expectations – don’t assume that others are on the same page as you (you may have to spell it out). Also, make sure that there’s no room for misunderstandings with any public messages you’re delivering. Your authority may be tested, as you’re pushed to prove your expertise. There is a possible success, but it will be directly connected to the amount of work you’ve put in so far.

Capricorn

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of opportunities trine Pluto in your sign, suggesting positive results around long-distance travel, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing. Progress should feel assured, as your efforts to expand are powered up by your emerging confidence and sense of purpose. Excellent for reaching a wider audience. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can trigger some background limits that you weren’t fully aware of. If you hit a delay, consider what’s going on behind the scenes – it’s possible that an incomplete ending is holding you back. You may need to wrap something up before you can forge ahead.

The Full Moon in your domestic sector illuminates a result/ending in the areas of family dynamics, a relocation, home business or future goals. This could be driven by information about a job, or a conversation with a supervisor. However, know that everything you hear or understand may not be totally clear – make sure you double check the facts before you jump ahead. Developments in your opportunities sector will be connected to these results, and success depends on your ability to take care of loose ends while being ultra-specific about your next step (even if you’re moving into brand new territory).

Aquarius

Venus (and Mars) in your sector of shared resources trine Pluto, suggesting encouraging developments around debts, taxes, loans, your partners finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Secrets or buried information can work in your favour if you push forward and aim for total honesty and trust. A financial gift or lucrative opportunity could be featured. Too, efforts to go deeper in your own development (by confronting fears and releasing attempts to control what cannot be controlled) can increase your personal power. However, the Venus/Mars squares to Saturn can remind you that not everyone is on board with your inner journey. External rules or judgements from friends, groups or public institutes can restrict your financial or emotional security – know that you can’t control what others think, or what society dictates. But your personal journey is still valid, and you still have access to inner strength.

The Full Moon in your communications sector can illuminate an answer, discussion with siblings or announcement. Information around travel, education, legal matters or publishing may be part of these results, as you decide whether to continue on your current path. Developments in your sector of shared resources (especially financial developments) will play a role. However, make sure you’re absoltuely clear on the financial or security angles-  some information may be clouded by fears, insecurities or inaccurate facts. Hopes/expectations can mislead you – aim for the hard truth instead.

Pisces

Venus (and Mars) in your partnership sector trine Pluto, suggesting that a relationship (new or existing) can move forward and deepen. Trust and passion will be the hallmarks. For a business relationship, watch for lucrative cooperation. Also excellent if you’re trying to reach members of the public on a personal level. However, the squares from Venus/Mars to Saturn will create some friction as professional rules or future goals clash with current developments. There will be progress, but you may have to accept that the other person is not totally on board with all your plans. In some cases, success/lack of success may be an issue as you’re confronted with competition.

The Full Moon in your sector of personal resources delivers results involving earned money, self-esteem or emotional security. What you have (or would like to have) will be tested by another. A conversation about intimacy or shared finances may not deliver everything you wanted to hear, especially as the inconjunct to Neptune Rx in your sign suggests misleading information, confusion or lies. Your ability to uncover the truth (or deliver your answers with absolute clarity and consistency) will be key. Now is not the time to gloss over facts or trust that someone else will take care of things if they’re not being open with you.

Horoscopes for September 17th to September 24th, 2017

Overview

September 15th to 19th brings a Boomerang Yod with Chiron Rx as the focal point. Chiron makes awkward inconjuncts to Venus and the North Node in Leo (what you want) and Jupiter in Libra (expansion), suggesting that positive developments will trigger painful vulnerabilities. The hopeful promise may trigger reminders of something uncomfortable. However, Venus will make a liberating trine to Uranus Rx in Aries on September 18th, so there will be some relief if you look past the moment. Consider the unusual option; this may not be everything you hoped for, but it will allow you to find some gold within the discomfort. The Virgo Sun opposes Chiron Rx (exact on September 19th). This is the boomerang part of the Yod- Chiron’s energy bounces back into Virgo (the solution). Easy enough, except that Chiron’s wounds are not neatly erased.

The September 19th/20th Virgo New Moon (depending on your time zone) will not be part of the Yod (Venus will have exited Leo a few hours before the Moon). But it will feature the Sun/Chiron opposition. So this Moon will present a “fix” – a solution after the Yod has passed. But here’s the kicker – it may involve an acceptance of what cannot be fixed. Practical applications of information can point you in the right direction, but making it all better is not the point. Practical acceptance of vulnerabilities and discomfort is the point. This Moon will be jolted by an inconjunct to Uranus Rx in Aries, so there will be an additional challenge of reacting quickly but not carelessly.

September 19th sees Venus’ Virgo ingress, which will apply the magnifying glass to relationships, finances, beauty and self-esteem issues. What’s desired will be refined and examined. Mercury in Virgo opposes Neptune Rx on the same day, and Mars in Virgo opposes Neptune on September 24th. So positive developments will need to be balanced with miscommunication and misguided actions, as Neptune blurs facts and intent.

September 22nd brings us to the turning point of the Fall Equinox, with the Sun’s Libra ingress. The balance between daylight and darkness reminds us that the very next step is a descent into longer nights. And so the wheel continues to turn.

The Sun’s applying conjunction to Vesta is notable for this Equinox. There will be increased focus on a Libra issue – imbalance, fairness, give and take, relating, projection. The focus could take the form of limits or devotion, and it will be given extra power by its proximity to the Fall Equinox (all Equinoxes and Solstices are times of intensified energy).

Aries

The Yod to Chiron in your hidden sector can press on a secret or unacknowledged relationship insecurity. An attraction can draw your attention to what you’d rather keep hidden, but Venus’ trine to Uranus in your sign urges you to take pride in what you have to show off. The New Moon in your sector of routine will present a path to improvement, but you’ll have to acknowledge that something’s actually amiss, first. Too, this Moon can remind you that a health or work issue cannot be ignored any longer. The inconjunct to Uranus Rx in your sign suggests abrupt errors or breakdowns – your immediate response will be demanded, but you’ll have adjust your impatience with the need to focus on the details. Take it one step at a time.

Venus’ entrance into your sector of routine can help with the above. Watch for assistance, favourable dynamics with co-workers/medical personnel or your increased awareness of the best prospects for self-care. However, Mercury and Mars’ opposition to Neptune Rx can trigger moments of muddy communication, overlooked details and weakened efforts. Go slow and pay attention to missing information/errors.

The Sun’s move into your partnership sector, and the building conjunction to Vesta, turns your focus to balance in a partnership. One issue in particular may demand your attention – one partner’s devotion may not match what the other can give.

Taurus

The Yod to Chiron in your social sector can pinpoint an area of public insecurity, as you find your accomplishments and domestic situation up for comparison. Too, your efforts to help another, or contribute to the group, could misfire, although your gut sense of a larger mission/change is accurate. Listen to your instincts. The New Moon in your sector of self-expression can urge you (perhaps impulsively) to go public with your creation/announcement/feelings for another, but this will also leave you feeling exposed. You do have something worth showing off, so you’ll have to decide if you’re ready to risk some discomfort (which may be part of the solution-the poison is part of the cure).

Venus’ move into your sector of self-expression will boost your confidence and power to attract, but Mercury and Mars’ opposition to Neptune Rx will have to be navigated carefully – what you say could be misunderstood by others, and what you do could have unanticipated public results. Or, your actions could simply fizzle out, as you discover that your romantic or creative goal was not realistic. Plan carefully, focus on what you would like others see/hear from you, then try to make your message as precise as possible. At the same, make allowances for what’s misunderstood (on their end and your end). If you’re celebrating, know that the temptation to overdo it will be strong.

The Sun’s move into your sector of routine, and the building conjunction to Vesta, will focus you on a specific health or work issue. Themes will include the balance of service – what you do for others versus how you’ve been looking after yourself. A new job or work situation could demand even more of your time and energy.

Gemini

The Yod to Chiron in your career sector can indicate a professional goal that’s out of reach, or that triggers disillusionment. Expectations of success can remind you of professional insecurities, although there is some encouragement from friends/the public (perhaps when you least expected it). The New Moon in your domestic sector is your anchor – rather than dwelling on what you’re afraid you can’t do, focus on your baseline support (family) or go back to the beginning and remind yourself of what’s working. An abrupt adjustment to home versus work priorities may be called for. It’s also possible that in order to succeed, you may need to admit to a flaw. This is not about pretending that everything is fine.

Venus’ move into your domestic sector can increase family support, or make you feel better about where you’re coming from and what you’re working with. However, Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune suggest that caution is needed with all business communication and actions/discussions around the home. Make sure your goals are aligned with reality. In some cases, you may need to let go of an ambition. Issues with relocation, buying/selling a home or a home business may also be involved.

The Sun’s move into your sector of self-expression, and the building conjunction to Vesta, can draw your attention to something you want very much. Children/pregnancy, a new attraction, creative work or your personal freedom and downtime may take on increased importance.

Cancer

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your sector of opportunities can raise questions about recent efforts to grow, expand, travel, learn or get published. Ideals could be tested and your future path may be unclear, as you doubt your ability (or desire) to go further. However, know that you are on the right path, regarding career and professional goals. The New Moon in your communication sector will present some clarifying facts  – an abrupt truth could open your eyes. You may be tempted to panic or fire off the first thoughts that come to mind (pressure on the job could demand an immediate response). However, your best bet is to breath, think and then proceed cautiously with what you know. Clear communication and assessment of all the facts will be essential.

Venus into your communication sector can boost your ability to say it/write it in a charming manner, but Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune can throw you off the path with ill-considered statements or inflated expectations. Once again, caution and precise words will be essential. Look for the proof behind the promise and be ready to back up your words with solid evidence. A new idea or solution has promise, but requires thorough investigation.

The Sun’s move into your domestic sector, and the building conjunction to Vesta, turn your attention to home and family. A domestic relationship, issue from the past or home business may claim all your attention. It could be time to pull back and devote yourself to your hearth.

Leo

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your sector of shared resources can open up a hidden insecurity, regarding debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. Expectations of more will have to be adjusted with deeper issues that you’d rather ignore, even as you’re encouraged to explore, expand and consider unusual options. Don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. The New Moon in your sector of personal resources can help you step back and make a realistic assessment of what’s really going on. This will involve your immediate, clear-eyed acceptance of what hurts. Someone else may not be able to give you what you want, and this may come as a shock. Or, your financial resources may need some fine-tuning. The New Moon can present an important opportunity to address financial and emotional difficulties, as long as you look at the facts about what you’re responsible for.

Venus into your sector of personal resources can give you more to work with (a hopeful opportunity for increased income or  reasons to feel better about yourself) but Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx can make it tempting to avoid certain facts or lose track of what you’ve spent. Rather than giving in to undermining habits/addictions as a way of avoiding discomfort, focus on what you’re trying to avoid. All financial issues (discussions about salary, discussions about client payments, loans, etc) should be approached with extreme caution – make sure the details are in writing.

The Sun’s move into your communication sector, and the building conjunction with Vesta, hi-light an idea, hope or mode of communication. There may be something that you feel you must express. Publishing, public speaking or being heard by others may take on extreme importance. This is about more than just being in the spotlight – the idea that you’re attempting to communicate is sacred to you. An issue with siblings could also demand your complete attention.

Virgo

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your relationship sector suggests that heightened expectations may uncover a painful issue. What’s unspoken could be a trouble spot, although deeper changes/increased independence around intimacy and shared finances are on track .The New Moon in your sign gives you the power to make thing better. Yes, you can apply your knowledge and urge to fix. However, the “fix” may not be exactly what you had in mind. You may need to let go and allow the other person to feel what they feel, while addressing your own issues. Confronting your urge to control by having everything turn out “perfectly” can be an unpleasant shock. Too, there may be a need to accept a romantic situation as it is, or (if that doesn’t work for you) let it go. In general, this New Moon can trigger an uncomfortable but useful shot of awareness.

Venus into your sign can help with the above, as she amplifies your quiet charm and ability to attract. She can also make you feel better about being yourself, even if you’re not feeling perfect or prepared. However, Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx can trigger relationship miscommunication and ill-timed actions. Before you offer advice or move forward to help, make sure the other person actually wants your help. Too, you could end up making a sacrifice for someone who simply doesn’t appreciate what you’re offering.

The Sun’s move into your sector of personal resources, and the building conjunction with Vesta, focuses you on a financial or security matter. Looking after yourself becomes a priority, and there may be a promising new source of income or increased determination to set boundaries.

Libra

The Yod to Chiron Rx (including the inconjunct to Jupiter in your sign) in your sector of routine can hi-light a health or work vulnerability. What’s broken or inadequate can be triggered by your enthusiasm and best intentions. Perhaps you’re pushing too hard, or attempting to impress someone. At the same time, your talent for cooperation will help one particular relationship progress smoothly (and you could have an ally). The New Moon in your hidden sector suggests that an unexpected reveal can uncover more about the above situation, while giving you access to a surprising solution or workaround. Accepting what’s not working won’t wrap everything up perfectly, but it will allow you to access unconventional treatments. Look behind the scenes for your answers.

Venus move into your hidden sector suggests there’s more untapped potential to what you can’t fully see or understand. But Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx can lead to moments of confusion and misinformation. Watch for undermining habits that tempt you to give up or escape from the issue. What you’re denying can seriously throw you off track, so your full awareness is essential. Health, diet, exercise, work habits or obligations to others may be themes.

The Sun’s move into your sign, and the building conjunction to Vesta, spotlights a personal issue that’s sacred to you. It could involve a relationship, work or your public image, but there’s something that’s demanding your complete devotion. And it will be about you, rather than what you can do for someone else. Correcting an imbalance could involve setting personal limits and taking stock of who respects those limits versus who ignores them. You are your own sacred temple- are you going to allow just anyone to set foot in your space?

Scorpio

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your sector of self-expression can trigger an insecurity about creative work, public performance, a new attraction or children/pregnancy. Your desire for success and achievement may hi-light an area where you feel undeserving. But if you’ve been rolling with the changes in your daily routines/health/work environment, you’ll find that the basics click into place easily. The New Moon in your social sector can present an external prompt via a friend, group association or public event. This prompt can show you the truth about your insecurity, and (if necessary) what you can do to tighten up your performance, or let go of what you cannot control. In some cases, more recognition can paradoxically heighten your anxiety.

Venus’ move into your social sector favours improved public relations and allows you to connect with the best, most helpful people. But Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx can lead to some disappointment, as what others say or do falls short of what you were hoping for. Too, your public actions/words can be open to misinterpretation. Tread carefully, and think before you speak.

The Sun’s move into your hidden sector, and the building conjunction with Vesta, turns your attention to a background or undeveloped potential. You may withdraw a bit, as you focus on what brings you internal sustenance – time to yourself can be essential for healing, recharging or reconnecting with an area of faith.

Sagittarius

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your domestic sector pits expansion and heightened ideals against wounds the from the past/childhood. You may be reaching further, only to find that old issues drag you back. Don’t allow this to cloud the joy you feel in a greater accomplishment or celebration, as you show off your talents and creations. The New Moon in your career sector points out that the past and future are always connected. You can’t have one without the other, which means a strategic view of where you’re going depends on dealing with what was. A surprising development around a new job, career path or correction to future goals will be connected to that old issue.

Venus’ move into your career sector boosts your professional image and relationship with management, while allowing you to connect with specific people who can help you get ahead. But Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx urge caution – professional actions and communication can be blurred by old weaknesses, addictions or issues at home. It may be difficult to focus on your next step, or necessary tasks at work. Keep your eyes fixed on the immediate details, and don’t allow what was to blur your perceptions of what could be.

The Sun’s move into your social sector, and the building conjunction with Vesta, focuses you on a friendship, group association or your connection to the public. A specific cause or public ideal may grab your attention. Or, you may be confronted by restrictions in friendships, which will push you to sort out who is worthy of your time. Who do you want to dedicate your precious energy to? Not everyone deserves your devotion.

Capricorn

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your communication sector suggests good news or hopeful developments (in the areas of career or finances) can stir up some doubts. A big idea or promise may reveal a weakness in the plan, or in your understanding of the facts, although you will find that family/domestic progress is running smoothly. The New Moon in your opportunities sector offers a solution via travel, education, legal matters, publishing or exploration. The big idea is valid, but will need some adjustment via a close look at incoming information. Note that this information may cause friction with developments at home. The insecurity isn’t going to vanish, and may actually assist you if you tap into the energy of compassion and empathy, and then communicate that.

Venus’ move into your opportunities sector adds even more positive potential to unexplored areas. The urge to move forward will be strong, but Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx ask you to keep your expectations in check. Remember that this is brand new territory, and some of you projections will not be accurate. Use extra caution when travelling, dealing with legal matters or publishing your words – have a backup plan.

The Sun’s move into your career sector and the building conjunction with Vesta make success and ambition you primary motivators. Career progress, or the development of a new business/future goal, will be themes. Too, you could encounter frustrating limits if your current work doesn’t make you feel passionate and motivated.

Aquarius

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your sector of personal resources can hi-light a financial or emotional insecurity. What you want, regarding a relationship or opportunity, might appear to exceed your budget. Take note of the unusual idea, flash of inspiration or unexpected contact – there’s help where you least expect it. The New Moon in your sector of shared resources suggests there may be a way around this, and it involves pooling your resources, or looking more closely at what you can pay off, share or invest. Watch for new developments involving debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or physical/emotional intimacy. These developments may surprise you with their intensity  – you may have to respond quickly to a request or piece of information. But you actually have everything you need to find a solution, and Venus’ entrance into your shared resources sector can give you more to work with, or a financial/emotional gift.

Mars and Mercury’s oppositions to Neptune Rx can introduce moments of confusion and insecurity, where overspending, fears of loss or mixed messages undermine your attempts at improvement. Don’t shy away from the uncomfortable conversations – you need to understand what’s really going on, and intentions (yours and theirs) must be absoltuely clear. Use extra caution when dealing with financial documents and agreements.

The Sun’s move into your opportunities sector, and the building conjunction with Vesta, suggests an area of education, travel, a legal or publishing issue may gain importance. You’ll be focusing your attention on growing what has profound meaning to you. A belief or ideal may become your sacred cause.

Pisces

The Yod to Chiron Rx in your sign suggests a work, health, financial or relationship opportunity can leave you feeling unprepared or exposed. While developments may be positive, you’ll be grappling with a personal vulnerability. Imbalances around how much you give (or sacrifice) may be issues, but if you’re paying attention, you’ll see also lucrative opportunity to make some money, or boost your self-esteem. The New Moon in your partnership sector aims to correct these imbalances by alerting you to some relationship facts. An abrupt development may compel you to look closely at what you’re projecting onto a partner, or the quality of the relationship in general. It might be time for a no-nonsense conversation.

Venus’ move into your partnership sector can increase harmony and cooperation, but the oppositions from Mars and Mercury to Neptune Rx in your sign can make it difficult to accurately discern thoughts and intentions. One or both of you may be unclear about what the next step is. For the moment, suspend expectations and just go with what develops.

The Sun’s move into your sector of shared resources, and the building conjunction to Vesta, can hi-light extreme focus or limits around a financial or intimacy issue. Again, balance/imbalance comes up. You’ll be looking at how much you share/spend, who you allow close to you and what your boundaries are.

Overview

September 12th sees Venus in Leo trine Saturn in Sagittarius, and September 13th sees the Virgo Sun square Saturn. The trine suggests that rules and structure are applied harmoniously, helping you manifest something that you want. The square will create friction, as you’re challenged by errors, limits or the recognition that something is not good enough.

These two aspects will work together, indicating that Saturn’s frustrations can ultimately assist you. Even as you deal with the challenge, keep focusing on what’s running smoothly, and keep your eye on the prize. The September 14th conjunction between Venus and the Sun-ruled Leo North Node says that the frustrations of the Sun/Saturn square are actually part of your hopeful path forward. You’re building something that you’re proud of, and there’s a door ahead of you that leads to the next level. The key to that door consists of your patience and ability to deal with Sun/Saturn frustrations.

The September 16th Mars/Mercury conjunction in Virgo unites words with actions or anger. This can play out as arguments over little things, or targeted improvements driven by precise efforts. To get the most out of this aspect, try to avoid verbal attacks over picky details. Instead, focus on doing (Mars) what you know (Mercury) is right (Virgo).

Aries

Aspects to Saturn in your sector of opportunities can create restrictions around health and work, with extra responsibilities and enforced rules. Legal issues, or travel /education plans may demand more than you think you can give. However, this is a chance for you to confirm a talent, creation or personal goal. Your work can pay off, proving to others that you’ve got what it takes. Venus and the North Node can open the next door in your journey, as your efforts unlock a reward or public recognition.

Mars/Mercury in your sector of routine suggest ambitious solutions or pushy demands for results. You won’t be getting less busy anytime soon, so you might as pour all your effort into what needs to be done. Walk your talk for effective, immediate results.

Taurus

Aspects to Saturn in your sector of shared resources can frustrate your goals around a personal goal, new attraction, creative work, area of self-expression or children/pregnancy. What you want to develop may be constrained by financial limits or another person’s boundaries. But something closer to home can progress nicely – a home business, family issue, relocation or home renovation can be confirmed (assuming you’ve been smart about your money). Venus and the North Node indicate that something even better is about to open up, and it will depend on the discipline you apply to the personal goal that’s frustrating you.

Mars/Mercury in your sector of self-expression gives you extra confidence and determination to go after what you want. Rather than asking, you can assertively lay out the reasons why this should happen. Then make sure you act on those reasons – no empty promises. Excellent for manifesting a creative work.

Gemini

Aspects to Saturn in your partnership sector suggest tension in a domestic partnership, as goals/commitments crank up the pressure. There may be disagreements about family issues, a relocation or home improvements. The solution is to keep talking with each other – there is more than enough positive energy to arrive at a workable compromise. And, an idea involving money, the relationship’s future, or a creative work can be solidified. Venus and the North Node indicate that it’s just one, short step towards manifesting what you want – don’t be dissuaded by temporary frustrations.

Mars/Mercury in your domestic sector add motivation to all home/family issues. A discussion about the past, division of responsibilities or home documents/improvements can proceed with precise gusto, as you’re fired up to get it done right.

Cancer

Aspects to Saturn in your sector of routine suggest work/health responsibilities, or extra obligations, may be frustrating as you attempt to sort through the details. You could receive some unhappy news, or find that your solutions are limited. If you start to feel overwhelmed by the weight of what’s happening, know that focus and dedication will help you nail down a financial or emotional opportunity. It could be a case of more work equals more money. Or, your dedication to what needs to be done will ultimately boost your self-esteem and security. Venus and the North Node indicate that you’re on the verge of opening up a wealthier, more secure future, as you concentrate on what matters most. Prioritizing is key.

Mars/Mercury in your communication sector help you deliver the message with force and precision. If you’ve got something to say/write, this is your time. With the correct facts backing you up, you can make a significant impact as you assert yourself or push for the truth.

Leo

Aspects to Saturn in your sector of self-expression can present reminders of a financial shortfall or area of insecurity. Extra work is needed to manifest a creative goal, new romance or issue involving children/pregnancy. However, the trine to Venus in your sign, and the Venus/North Node conjunction, say that you’ve got this covered. As you deal with what you don’t have, or don’t have enough of, keep focusing on what you really want. You can make this happen, but it will take more time and effort.

Mars/Mercury in your sector of personal resources can provide solutions to money or security frustrations. Ideas about earning more, or expressing your self-worth, can be put into action. But the key is “action.” You’ll have to hustle to make more or prove yourself. Words are not enough.

Virgo

The square from Saturn in your domestic sector to the Sun in your sign suggests that home/family responsibilities will weigh heavily. There’s much to do, and the pressure increases with your desire to do it just right. Or, you may feel blocked from expressing yourself due to family traditions. But the trine to Venus in your hidden sector, and the Venus/North Node conjunction, say that something positive is coming into being, behind the scenes. Your continued diligence can manifest a secret desire or ultimate goal. This could involve a home business or lifestyle change. Don’t give up on your dream – you’re closer than you think.

Mars/Mercury in your sign can help with the above, giving you the courage to come out and say it. You know exactly what needs to be done, and not only are you prepared to do it, you’ve got the facts. Excellent for promoting yourself, taking a stand or laying a verbal smackdown at exactly the right time.

Libra

Aspects to Saturn in your communication sector suggest hidden/background issues could make you aware of limits around an idea, conversation or your ability to gather information. Learning/studying could be areas of pressure, as you deal with an issue you’ve been avoiding. However, your focused efforts are gradually solidifying a public contact, friendship or public launch. Despite what’s going on behind the scenes, there’s steady progress on the outside. Venus and the North Node urge you to keep your eyes open for a turning-point encounter with someone significant, or an opportunity to make a positive impact on others with your talents/social skills.

Mars/Mercury in your hidden sector can see you addressing that behind-the-scenes issue. A secret or piece of intuitive knowledge may be energized. Too, your private actions can align beautifully with your thoughts, helping you manifest something special. However, there is also a risk of jumping to conclusions about something that you suspect, but don’t have all the facts about. This aspect is better for internal work rather than external confrontations.

Scorpio

Aspects to Saturn in your sector of personal resources can hi-light difficulties with friends, groups or your public image. A lack of something essential (money, security) can be exacerbated by a public encounter. You may feel restricted or judged. However, rest assured that your work and perseverance are paying off when it comes to your career and professional image. Your focus on getting ahead and building a secure foundation can net you a lucrative job or make a positive impression on management. Venus and the North Node say that you’re “this” close to a new opportunity. You could take your business to the next level, or open up a new area of recognition for your work.

Mars/Mercury in your social sector can trigger arguments or verbal attacks on social media. This energy is good for making an impact with your words (public speaking, a public launch, revealing the truth) but you’ll have to use caution if you don’t want to stir up aggressive reactions. Then again, maybe you want to stir the pot.

Sagittarius

Aspects to Saturn in your sign suggest tensions with someone in authority, or extra pressure as you grapple with a future goal, lack of success or delays on the job. However, know that your strength and focus are simultaneously enabling a growing opportunity in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publishing. The effort that you’re putting into your career can pay off in a new area that you’re expanding into, especially once Venus unites with the North Node. The overall theme is focus on the future, as you handle the rules needed to secure a future dream.

Mars/Mercury in your career sector indicates confrontational discussions, or a targeted surge of energy as your words and actions align for a job search or business launch. Your strategies and observations will be razor sharp, enabling you to pinpoint, and the take action on, what needs to be improved. Great for getting things done, but this aspect can stir up arguments with someone in management.

Capricorn

Aspects to Saturn in your hidden sector can indicate delays or limits on expansion in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publishing. You have a vision of how far you want to go, or the audience you want to reach, but you’ll have to deal with hidden rules or unacknowledged limits (self-sabotage). However, you can make progress on a deeper level, as shared finances or an intimacy issue solidifies with your growing confidence (and a growing understanding between you and your partner). Venus and the North Node suggest a step towards greater intimacy, or greater financial security/responsibility.

Mars/Mercury in your sector of opportunities can energize a travel, educational, legal or publishing matter. Previous limits can be compensated for, as you apply assertive ideas, targeted words or logical arguments. Your passion (or anger) about something you believe in can fuel your words.

Aquarius

Aspects to Saturn in your social sector can stir up hidden fears, involving loss of control or endings. There may be efforts to put structure on something that is beyond your control, or where someone else calls the shots (intimacy or finances). However, watch for support and reassurance from a close friend or partner – as you wade deeper into uncomfortable waters, you’ll discover who’s got your back. As certain situations bring about profound transformations, some friendships may falter, but a select few will be strengthened. Venus and the North Node can point the way forward for a new or existing partnership. There could be a significant meeting, or a shift in understanding as you see who you’re proud to have at your side.

Mars/Mercury in your shared resources sector give you the courage to ask the tough questions, hear the tough answers, and dig for information. Challenging information can spur you on to uncover internal resources. Debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances, intimacy or illness may be areas where you feel this.

Pisces

Aspects to Saturn in your career sector can trigger partnership tensions, as future or professional goals conflict with an existing understanding. Someone close to you may have a different idea about what the future holds, or what success means. However, your continued focus on obligations, routines and doing what needs to be done will benefit you. There may be recognition for your efforts from someone in authority, or progress with a partner regarding mutual duties (despite tensions in other areas). Imbalances in relationships can also be addressed, if you maintain your boundaries and professional standards. Venus and the North Node suggest a breakthrough regarding a solution to a problem, health issue or work routine. Taking pride in your work can become obvious and easier.

Mars/Mercury in your partnership sector can stir up challenging discussions, but it’s time to get those facts on the table. Arguments can feel nitpicky, but if you focus on the essentials, a mutual solution can be quickly uncovered. Too, you could be confronted by a partner’s specific gripes about what you’re doing wrong.

Overview

September 5th sees Mars’ Virgo ingress and Mercury direct in Leo. Mars into a Mercury-ruled sign, on the same day as Mercury direct, emphasizes the theme of precise, informed actions based on a confirmation. Mercury will be at the same degree as the August 21st New Moon eclipse in Leo. Something from that date could finally progress. On September 9th, Mercury enters Virgo and strengthens the energy of analysis, problem-solving and critical communication. If you want to make it happen, Virgo is your key – do the work and get it right.

The September 6th Full Moon in Pisces conjoins Neptune and makes an inconjunct to Venus in Leo. What comes or goes will move naturally and will be unstoppable. You cannot control Neptune – the current flows as it’s meant to. Results could be expansive or disappointing, but either way, the tricky connection to Venus suggests a misalignment with certain desires.

Aries

Mars into your sector of routine, and Mercury direct in your sector of self-expression, gets you primed for a big splash, dating back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse. A new romance, creative work, celebration, hobby or issue involving children/pregnancy can finally move forward with practical, step-by-step actions. Now you know exactly what to do and how to do it. If events did not turn out as you’d hoped, you should already have a new iron in the fire. Mercury into your sector of routine adds more information and solutions for you to work with. It’s time to get down to business and make it happen.

The Full Moon in your hidden sector suggests the culmination/illumination of a dream or ultimate goal. Here’s something you’ve been working towards and hoping for – it will either manifest, or dissolve and reveal the truth behind the curtains. Idealistic romantic longings (whether you’re dealing with an actual romance or not) can result in some disappointment, but that doesn’t mean the dream itself is invalid. You may have to adjust your exalted desires, and let go of what’s not realistic. What’s left is yours.

Taurus

Mars into your sector of self-expression, and Mercury direct in your domestic sector, add fuel to creative work, a celebration, desire for freedom or issues involving children/pregnancy. What began during the August 21st New Moon eclipse can gain serious momentum -watch for a conclusive family discussion that says “Let’s do it.” Mercury into your sector of self-expression gives you the ideas to go along with your initiative – discussions will be a powerful mix of practical and romantic/creative.

The Full Moon in your social sector illuminates a public ideal or idealized friendship. What seemed like a good idea or wonderful cause may not quite turn out the way you wanted – someone may disappoint you, as they reveal their true nature. But did they promise you all that, or were you projecting your hopes? The truth that’s revealed may not be so bad. A public launch may fall short, or could be a misguided on a social level. But there’s still plenty of room to display your talents.

Gemini

Mars into your domestic sector, and Mercury direct in your communication sector, signal progress with a family/sibling issue, a home business or relocation. This will date back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse. The required information or agreement is finally in place, and you’re ready to take grounded action. Home improvements are also favoured. Mercury into your domestic sector helps you apply the above information in exactly the right place. Domestic documents, plans with a domestic partner or family discussions are emphasized.

The Full Moon in your career sector can expose an ideal, dream job or issue with someone in authority. Whether the ideal is met or undermined will depend on how connected to reality you’ve been. It’s also possible that deception or unprofessional behaviour is revealed. Even if the results are positive, certain attractive assurances may not come through. There could be an unspoken promise that simply isn’t met, regarding the details of a job, discussion with management or your professional image.

Cancer

Mars into your communication sector, and Mercury direct in your sector of personal resources, help you nail down a financial or self-esteem issue that’s been in the works since the August 21st New Moon eclipse. The lucrative opportunity, ambition for more or new source of income can now manifest with your assertive words and focused communication. You know what you want – it’s time to make those thoughts a reality. Mercury’s move into your communication sector supports financial agreements/discussions, detailed paperwork, precise communication and targeted business research.

The Full Moon in your opportunities sector can open up something more in the areas of travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Expansion into a whole new area is possible. Or, there could be an official result/graduation that signals the manifestation of your greatest ideal. However, there is also a risk of overspending or placing all your hopes into this one outcome. What’s happening is positive, but it won’t bring you unending happiness. Ground your perspective and watch your money (especiallyif legal issues are involved).

Leo

Mars into your sector of personal resources, and Mercury direct in your sign, get you motivated regarding money and baseline security needs. The August 21st New Moon eclipse in your sign may have triggered a desire or opportunity – now you can take action and make it happen. Earned money, salary discussions, new sources of income and doing what’s best for you are all favoured. Mercury’s move into your sector of personal resources can see you signing financial documents or itemizing your essential requirements, on a personal or professional level.

The Full Moon in your sector of shared resources can open up deeper intimacy between you and someone special. It can also open up buried issues around money, or memories from the past. The urge to give/sacrifice everything may be strong, but the inconjunct to Venus in your sign is a warning to maintain some boundaries. Giving more will notresult in supreme happiness, and someone else may not have the same idea about intimacy as you do. There is also a risk of overspending. When in doubt, consider that this is not just about your wants, and efforts that are focused solely on what you desire can actually undermine or dissolve it.

Virgo

Mars into your sign, and Mercury direct in your hidden sector, say it’s go time for a project, relationship or lifestyle change. What began around the August 21st New Moon eclipse is now ripe for action. A background potential can go public, and you’ll have increased confidence and motivation. Mercury’s move into your sign will add crucial information and strategies. There’s nothing holding you back.

The Full Moon in your partnership sector can hi-light a relationship ideal, area of sacrifice or unconditional love. A union may dissolve. Or, it could reach new heights, with increased forgiveness and shared empathy. However, even if things move in a positive direction, there may be some disappointments as an unspoken desire proves to be unrealistic. The way to counteract this is to be honest about what you want. You may not get it, but at least everything will be out on the table. In some cases, this Moon could illuminate the illusion behind a secret attraction.

Libra

Mars into your hidden sector, and Mercury direct in your social sector, can convince you to pull back or hide your intentions, due to some public clarification (regarding friends, groups or your public image). What began during the August 21st New Moon eclipse will now be confirmed, along with your sense that there’s more going on behind the scenes. Mercury’s move into your hidden sector can strengthen your intuition and investigative abilities. Now is not the time to act openly, but it is the time to dig deeper.

The Full Moon in your sector of routine can hi-light a work or health issue that doesn’t quite achieve what you’d hoped for. Promises of assistance may fall through, or you may discover that your efforts are not being recognized. Someone else may take credit for your work. On the plus side, this energy could dissolve a worry, area of stress or excessive responsibilities – you may not have to take on everything, after all.

Scorpio

Mars into your social sector, and Mercury direct in your career sector, can activate your ambitions or a business launch. Potentials that first came to light during the August 21st New Moon eclipse can manifest, as you move forward and reach out to others. You could also see results from a job search or bid for a contract. Mercury’s move into your social sector boosts your networking and strategic conversations.

The Full Moon in your sector of self-expression suggests a culmination connected to performance, creative work, a new attraction or children/pregnancy. The longed-for result could manifest, or the misguided projection could be revealed as nothing more than a beautiful illusion. Positive or negative outcomes depend on your existing relationship with the public, or your grasp of reality in a personal situation. Either way, there will be a disconnect between personal ambitions, and these results. If you were hoping for fame, glory or increased status/money, there will be some disappointment. This was never just about making you look good (although that could be a side benefit).

Sagittarius

Mars into your career sector, and Mercury direct in your sector of opportunities can encourage you to push forward with a travel, education, legal or publishing idea. Watch for progress in all professional matters, including dealing with management. The August 21st New Moon eclipse would have introduced you to this potential, and now you’re applying it to your professional future. Mercury’s move into your career sector can present you with effective strategies for dealing with someone in authority, making your case or fine-tuning your business efforts.

The Full Moon in your domestic sector can illuminate an issue with family/from childhood, or a current matter involving a domestic partnership, home business or issues with the structure of your home. Dissolving or weakening may be themes, perhaps due to illness or flaws in the physical foundation of your home. Too, there could be chance to expand on something hopeful for the future, but first you’ll have to release something from the past. There’s a promise of growth/something to look forward to, but certain aspects of this promise will not live up to reality. You may have overestimated how far you can go. If you’re disappointed with the results, try focusing on healing issues in the present, or dealing with any weaknesses in your foundation.

Capricorn

Mars into your sector of opportunities, and Mercury direct in your sector of shared resources, encourages you to expand/explore in the areas of long-distance travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Your efforts in new areas will be fuelled by a deeper understanding of financial or hidden issues. As Mercury enters your opportunities sector, you can apply what you learned or researched to the bigger picture. These events will refer back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse.

The Full Moon in your communication sector presents an answer, decision or promise with seemingly endless potential. Or, what you learn may end up being anti-climactic, as the Big Event fizzles into nothing. Either way, misaligned financial or emotional wants will contribute to disappointment or overinflated expectations. A truth may be revealed, and the reality may be far different from what was presented. On the plus side, results could indicate a creative launch/publication, a shot of inspiration or healing conversation.

Aquarius

Mars into your sector of shared resources, and Mercury direct in your partnership sector, suggest that a relationship discussion or confirmation of information can take matters a step deeper. Intimacy, shared finances or buried issues may be activated. Look back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse to see when this first developed. As Mercury enters your sector of shared resources, the conversation will continue and intensify, as you confront deeper truths.

The Full Moon in your sector of personal resources can present results involving earned money, self-esteem or personal security. There may be a release, dissolution or opening up of greater potential. Whether there’s a loss or gain, accept the results for what they are – you can’t cling to what’s fading, and you can’t force specific results. What’s yours will flow into your life. Even with a gain, there may be moments of disappointment, as someone’s response doesn’t match what you were hoping for. A relationship could reveal what’s missing, or what was never there. However, it’s important to take stock of what’s emerging – it may not be what you had in mind, but it could still be quite good.

Pisces

Mars into your partnership sector, and Mercury direct in your sector of routine, can accelerate a relationship. Confirmation about a work, health or routine issue could be the trigger for a next step (together or apart). Balanced give and take (being recognized for your help) may be a theme. These issues will refer back to the August 21st New Moon eclipse. Mercury’s move into your partnership sector can open up practical lines of communication.

The Full Moon in your sign can raise your anxiety about what’s missing or not good enough. What you were hoping for from another (esecpailly practical help or solutions) may not come through. Or, what you get may be confusing. Try to suspend expectationsand remain open to whatever happens. This Moon can emphasize a loss, feeling of disillusionment or new freedom, as you realize that certain things are beyond your control.

Overview

Mars conjoins the Leo North Node on August 27th, which will be a prompt (via action, anger or passion) to move forward- the next step will be yours, if you want to make it happen. And that next step should take you in the right direction.

Mercury Rx returns to Leo on August 31st. Mars trines Uranus Rx in Aries on September 2nd, and then conjoins Mercury Rx in Leo on September 3rd. Moving forward will be enabled by the courage to take risks or do it differently, but the Rx status of Mercury and Uranus indicates a renewed surge of energy for something from the past. This will be a second attempt, or a review that’s energized with purpose. These aspects will take place at 28 degrees Leo, which is the same degree as the August 21st Solar Eclipse:

“This eclipse is hooked into Mercury retrograde. Mars in Leo will re-activate 28 degrees on September 2ndand will conjoin Mercury Rx on September 3rd. Mercury will station direct at 28 degrees Leo on September 5th. August 21st’s new beginnings may not achieve full momentum until September 5th, when the final decision is made, or all the information is in front of you. Mars will add an insistent shove (an argument?) or added courage to say what you really need to say.”

Aries

Virgo

Aspects to Mars in your hidden sector (including the conjunction to Mercury Rx) can clue you in to a gut feeling, background potential or ultimate goal that’s taking shape. Watch for changes on a deeper level, via psychological prompts or growing determination to break away from undermining habits. Finances and intimacy can benefit.

Mercury Rx’s return to your hidden sector suggests you’ll be pulling back to regroup or reconsider what needs to be corrected. Watch for a specific person to reappear or trigger your renewed initiative.

Mercury Rx’s return to your social sector indicates that you’ll be revisiting a public discussion/plan, or reconnecting with a friend. Events will be connected to the August 21st eclipse.

Scorpio

It may be time to take another crack at that future goal or business angle – your ambitions are on target. The key is aligning your big-picture efforts with daily routines and work tasks – an ongoing change in these areas can be lucrative for you.

Mercury Rx’s return to your career sector can indicate a repeat discussion with management, a renegotiation of a contract or second thoughts about a career goal. All reviews, questions and repeat discussions will be in your best interests, as your ambitions are reignited. Or, someone in authority may be more receptive to your efforts, this time.

Sagittarius

Travel, education, legal matters or publishing may be areas where you’ve encountered delays or second thoughts. Now you should experience a renewed sense of purpose and confidence, as your future path opens up. Fighting for a cause that’s important to you may also be a theme.

Mercury Rx’s return to your opportunities sector suggests revising or questioning the details in the above areas. Horoscopes for August 20th to August 27th, 2017

Pieter Bruegel the Elder

Pieter Bruegel the Elder

Overview

The August 21st New Moon eclipse in Leo combines a brilliant new beginning with a powerful result or metaphorical “death.” Pluto Rx makes an exact opposition to Ceres in Cancer, signalling the permanent transformation of a nurturing or parental issue. Every beginning involves an ending, but this one will be pronounced.

On August 22nd, Virgo season (the season of work, humbling and separating the wheat from the chaff) begins. On August 26th, the Sun and Mercury Rx form an inferior conjunction – a new beginning in the Sun/Mercury cycle. This conjunction will illuminate important answers to the questions that Mercury Rx has stirred up. The flaw or duty may be unmistakably lit up. You can then proceed through the remainder of Mercury’s retrograde with the facts. Venus enters Leo on this same day, which is an interesting juxtaposition between bright, bold attraction energy and introverted analysis. Look for the facts behind the shine- if you want something, Sun/Mercury Rx can give you the inside scoop on how to get it, or if it’s realistic.

Saturn stations direct in Sagittarius on August 25th. Although Mercury Rx can still create some delays, Saturn direct indicates progress in the bigger picture. Rules/responsibilities can be defined, and future goals can fall into place. This may be felt as a slow but sure shift forward. Even more significantly, this marks the end of Saturn’s last retrograde before it enters Capricorn, on December 19th, 2017. A new era approaching – Saturn rules Capricorn, so get ready for intensified boundaries, responsibilities, structures and traditions.

A Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn will take place in January, 2020. This is the big league- we’re talking seismic shifts in power and complete deconstruction of certain traditions. Interested in knowing how it might impact you? Check out my PDF download.

Gemini

The eclipse in your communication sector can trigger a brilliant new idea, or introduce you to an exciting new contact. A conversation or public announcement can ignite something inspiring, or alert you to new areas of study/investigation. If you want your words to go public, this is a prime influence. You’ll be just starting out, but this influence can provide a surge of confidence and inspiration – excellent if you’ve been feeling less than positive about future ambitions. Mercury Rx has seen you questioning, investigating or going back over past conversations. Sun/Mercury Rx can reveal what you’ve been looking for, or present a turning-point conversation.

Saturn direct in your sector of routine signals progress with health or work issues. Frustrating delays and restrictions should ease up. The work’s not over, and you may encounter new tasks and obligations. But now you’re moving forward, rather than going back over old tasks. A diagnosis for an ongoing health issue can point you in the right direction, if you’re ready to take responsibility for your self-care.

Leo

The eclipse in your sign can ignite a fiery new passion, for someone or something. The sub-theme will be exploration – heading off in a new direction, relocating, learning, reaching for the unknown. You’re being urged to take a chance and have confidence in your abilities. Venus into your sign adds even more reasons to feel good, as you attract by doing what you do best: taking pride and joy in yourself. Pluto Rx opposite Ceres works behind the scenes to conclude a situation or obligation that’s no longer yours to nurture (maybe it never was). An ending can set you free. Health and work scenarios are emphasized.

The Sun’s entrance into your sector of personal resources, and the Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction can bring valuable information about a source of income, salary discussion or self-esteem issue. Mercury Rx has pushed you to ask what you’re worth, and now Sun/Mercury Rx will provide the answer. If you’re not getting paid enough, or treated appropriately, the shortfall will be glaringly obvious. But so will the solution.

Saturn direct in your sector of self-expression can encourage you to move forward with a personal goal, new romance, creative work or issue with children/pregnancy. The going may be slow and success may not be guaranteed, but now you know what’s realistically within your reach, and what you need to forget about. As always, Saturn asks you to work harder. But if you really want this, it’s worth it.

Virgo

The eclipse in your hidden sector can activate a secret or overlooked potential. A background goal that you’ve been contemplating (but haven’t acted on) will gain momentum. An ultimate ambition that seemed like an impossible dream can be energized to the point where you decide to give it a shot. Pluto Rx opposite Ceres can fuel this with a social turning point – you may cross a threshold regarding an issue with children, creative work, a new attraction or self-expression. If you’ve been holding back or waiting, watch for a release that simultaneously ends the wait and pushes you forward. Even a loss or goodbye can inject life into a new potential. Venus into your hidden sector adds more fuel to the background fire – what’s secret can unfold in intriguing ways. Consider the less obvious potentials.

The Sun’s entrance into your sign, and the Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction, adds more to the above developments via powerful information and clarity. Mercury Rx has seen you doing what you do best – analyzing, identifying weaknesses and working on a plan for improvement. The sense of something not being quite right will be confirmed by Sun/Mercury Rx. You’ll also have the solution. Too, you could turn the corner on a delayed answer, conversation from the past or old acquaintance. This time, you’ll be doing things differently.

Saturn direct in your domestic sector allows you to progress with plans for relocation, home renovation, a home business or family responsibilities. The work’s not over, but you’re not going back over old ground anymore. You know exactly what you have to do, and you’re prepared to dig in.

Sun/Mercury Rx can provide crucial insight into the above, while also supplying important strategies about making connections with others.

Saturn direct in your sector of personal resources says there’s more work to be done regarding earned money and personal security, but there should be an increasing sense of accomplishment or progress. If you’ve been on board with Saturn’s program (saving, working hard and supplying the necessities for yourself) you may start to see the rewards for you efforts. Plans for your financial future can take shape.

Sagittarius

The eclipse in your opportunities sector can encourage you to jump into something new. Travel, education, legal matters or publishing are favoured as areas to show off your talents. A risk can work out well, especially once Venus moves into this sector. Pluto Rx opposite Ceres suggests a significant ending/culmination in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy. Watch for a transformation in how much you have, how much you share or how secure you feel. Along with the eclipse potentials, this suggests that a deep or private ending can trigger an external rush of freedom and expansion.

The Sun’s entrance into your career sector, and the Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction, hi-light a discussion with management, career goal or job search. Too, there could be a profound psychological shift as you break away from old family dynamics. Pluto Rx in your sign opposite Ceres can signal a major change in your relationship – an ending/result could involve a shift in the power balance between you. Even if your partner triggers the change, what happens will be a result of your accelerated evolution. Venus into your sector of shared resources can indicate a financial or emotional gift that’s precious and private.

The Sun’s entrance into your sector of opportunities, and the Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction, hi-light an issue involving travel, education, legal matters or publishing. Mercury Rx has presented delays or revisions in these areas – perhaps your hopes need to be adjusted, or matters aren’t progressing quickly enough. Maybe you discover that you’ve stretched too far. Sun/Mercury Rx will present the results of your investigations and second thoughts, while allowing you make the necessary corrections. Crucial facts may come to light.

Saturn direct in your hidden sector will be subtle, but it marks the next stage of progress towards an ending. You’ve been gradually shutting down a chapter of your life, and now you’re pushing forward with final plans. Note that this was the last Saturn Rx before it enters your sign, on Dec 19th, 2017. A significant threshold is approaching.

Aquarius

The eclipse in your relationship sector can kick off a significant new partnership, or open the doors to bold, positive communication in an existing relationship. Whether you’re single or not, these energies can give you fresh insight on how you relate to others, and what chances you’re willing to take as you step outside your comfort zone. The key is integrating habitual energy (such as your independence and curiosity) into your future. Pluto Rx opposite Ceres adds a turning point in a work or health matter -watch for a lifestyle overhaul or medical diagnosis. These results will feed into the eclipse’s powerful new beginnings. Venus into your partnership sector adds more reasons to feel good about relating to others – whether or not you’re trying to attract, you can draw favourable attention your way, just by taking pride in yourself (quirks and all). Saturn direct in your career sector can indicate the end of delays around a project, career goal or job search. The responsibilities and pressure won’t ease up (yet) but the sense of forward momentum should help you clarify future goals and decide if the path you’re on is the right one for you.

Horoscopes for August 13th to August 20th, 2017

Overview

On August 13th, the Leo Sun trines Saturn Rx in Sagittarius, then conjoins the North Node on August 16th. Saturn’s structure supports Leo’s success and recognition, while the North Node confirms progress. Saturn will damp down some of Leo’s shine, replacing it with patience and determination (especially since Saturn is Rx – this will be a return or second try). The Sun’s inconjunct to Chiron Rx in Pisces (August 20th) will raise doubts about the way forward, but a rational approach (don’t ignore the insecurities but don’t overemphasize them) should help.

Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto Rx in Capricorn on August 15th, and squares Jupiter in Libra on August 17th. This can deliver a potent result or ending – Pluto intensifies what Venus wants, and the opposition suggests projection or challenge. Often, the most intense desire for someone/something is actually a reflection of what you need to develop within yourself. Jupiter amplifies the issue, and can bring exaggerated rewards or extreme behaviour. The August 18th inconjunct between Venus and Saturn is a quiet reminder that there will be some restrictions (feelings of inferiority or denial) whether or not you get what you want.

Aries

Aspects to the Sun in your sector of self-expression can solidify a growing potential involving creative work, performance, a new attraction or children/pregnancy. Future goals and official plans can fall into place. Legal matters, publishing, travel or educationare favoured. Hidden insecurities can raise questions about these developments, but if you acknowledge them with a clear-eyed view (ask yourself if they’re rational) you should be ok.

Aspects to Venus in your domestic sector can amplify your desire for success in your personal or professional life. You may want more from family, a partnership or home business, but your wants will conflict with someone else’s influence. If you push too hard and refuse to compromise there is a risk that you could lose what you’ve gained. Pay attention to the balance of power, and be grateful for any successes you achieve. External rules or ethics may be restraining influences.

Taurus

Aspects to the Sun in your domestic sector can stabilize home finances, a home business or plans for buying/selling/relocating. The next stage of domestic/family progress is solidifying, so don’t allow social insecurities or unhealthy competition to throw you off track. You’re making progress that’s slow but steady – trust this.

Aspects to Venus in your communication sector suggest a powerful statement or request. You may feel compelled to say “yes” or you could be the one doing the compelling. There’s a mix of magnetic temptation and the sense that “no” is not an option. If you’re on the receiving end, know that you don’t have to agree to anything you’re not totally comfortable with. This includes a financial agreement. If you’re pushing your ideas on someone else, don’t overplay your hand- you could push them away. Success is possible if you mix compelling words/solutions with a soft sell. Pay attention to financial and emotional boundaries.

Gemini

Aspects to the Sun in your communication sector can confirm a commitment, promise or agreement between two people. Future goals are favoured, as well as receptivity to ideas. Excellent for business discussions, or personal discussions that require maturity and foresight. The one spot of tension may involve career goals or issues around success/ambition. Discussions may touch on an insecurity in these areas –  openly acknowledging these issues will be beneficial.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of personal security can stir up jealousy, obsessive attraction or power battles (in a partnership) over money. A new attraction can push past certain limits. Or, the urge to spend/make yourself feel better can push you to overdo it. In a relationship, one person may feel denied, and could act out. The urge to give/spend everything could have unpleasant consequences – practice a bit of restraint, especially if you’re feeling that you must have something/someone. Consider if what you’re missing can be supplied by yourself.

Cancer

Aspects to the Sun in your sector of personal resources can confirm a solid work/financial opportunity, while aligning your vision with a more secure future. Your disciplined habits and calm attention to what needs improvement will pay dividends, even as you struggle with the occasional moment of doubt or questions about how far you can reach. Slow, steady ambition is key.

Aspects to Venus in your sign can bring conflicts in a domestic relationship to a head. Tension around expansion, relocation or home improvements can be intense, even if developments are encouraging. Your partner may have more power, or could be pushing for bigger changes than you’re prepared for. Pay attention to a specific health or work issue that’s being revisited – limits in this area could make you feel less than, but you’re being encouraged to set boundaries and strengthen your resolve. Too, there may be a powerful new attraction that seems to offer everything you want – know that this is simply a reflection of what you already have, but need to develop within yourself.

Leo

Aspects to the Sun in your sign can solidify plans for a creative work, new romance, children/pregnancy or anything that asks you to put yourself front and centre. Success is favoured – watch for a solid confirmation that you’re on the right path and your hard work/persistence has paid off. Private doubts involving money or intimacy shouldn’t be ignored, but don’t let them undermine your progress and confidence. You’re moving in the right direction.

Aspects to Venus in your hidden sector can stir up a secret obsession, intense attraction or want that surprises you with its power. The more it’s hidden or ignored, the stronger it will be – full awareness is recommended, so you can deal with it. An idea, conversation or announcement will be powered by this, and can be wonderfully creative and impactful as you access private sources of inspiration. Or, if you’re not fully conscious of what’s going on, you can say too much or expect something that has zero basis in reality. Honour your limits and look for proof to back up the promise. Also, consider that you may not be able to have everything you want.

Virgo

Aspects to the Sun in your hidden sector can solidify a background plan or dream, especially involving home, family or a home business. The gut feeling that’s pulling you in a certain direction is correct, although you’ll have to deal with some awkward partnership issues. In some cases, an ending can open a positive new door that allows you to create the foundation for your new life.

Aspects to Venus in your social sector can raise issues of jealousy, competition and comparison with friends or groups. Who has more, or who attracts more, can create an obsession with what you don’t have. Or, it can spur you to make the most of your talents. In some cases, these aspects can indicate the successful result for a public launch, as you attract lucrative attention. A compulsive new attraction can manifest in a social setting. Watch for issues of projection – this person surely has a dramatic impact on you, but they may just be reflecting something you’re trying to develop within yourself. No matter what happens, it’s important that you continue to honour your domestic responsibilities. If you feel like home/family is not giving you enough, another person may seem like the answer. But it always comes back to you.

Libra

Aspects to the Sun in your social sector support the slow, steady growth of a friendship, public endeavour or group association. One person might prove to be an important guide to your future. Or, you can solidify your public position with a mature statement that proves you’ve got what it takes. Excellent for a public launch, publication or speech. The only trouble spot will consist of some practical details or work issues that could undermine you – make sure you have all the basics covered.

Aspects to Venus in your career sector (including the square to Jupiter in your sign) suggest a successful result – a promotion, new job or moment of professional recognition. However, big change (and a possible escalation of work versus domestic issues) is also in the mix. Watch for exaggerated reactions and sudden endings. Success could be mixed with loss. No matter what happens, keep your responses civil and professional. Others will be watching, and your professional image will be impacted.

Scorpio

Aspects to the Sun in your career sector can solidify a lucrative opportunity that you’ve been working towards. A new job/position, source of income or way to promote yourself shows great potential, as long as it’s built on your continued discipline and hard work. This is not a quick win, and you’ll also have to deal with some doubts about whether or not you have what it takes to be successful. You do have what it takes- keep moving forward, slowly and steadily.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of opportunities can present a powerful result in the areas of travel, long-distance romance, education, legal matters or publishing. There could be a last-minute win, or a surprising success. Too, you may find yourself pushing for more than you’re entitled to – pay attention to financial limits and don’t try to jump ahead.

Sagittarius

Aspects to the Sun in your sector of opportunities (including the trine to Saturn Rx in your sign) can confirm your next move around travel, legal matters, education, publishing or exploration. The new development will be defined by your focus and hard work. Extra responsibilities in your life will contribute to this. As you look towards the future, don’t allow old insecurities or family difficulties to throw you off track. Acknowledge that you’re still dealing with a wound (you may need to tread lightly around certain family issues) but don’t get sucked back into the past. You’re not the person that you once were.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of shared resources can stir up a passionate and obsessive result in the areas of debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances or intimacy. There may be a struggle for control, or a confrontation based on what you feel you must keep. Know that you don’t have full control over this, so don’t try to call all the shots. There is also the possibility of a financial gift or bonus. A relationship turning point can bring the two of you closer together, or, an existing crack may widen to and you lose what you’ve been trying to maintain. Positive or negative results will depend on both partners’ willingness to compromise and grow together. The inconjunct to Saturn Rx in your sign is a hint that you may won’t get everything you want, even if the results are positive. Don’t push for more than the other person can give, and watch your spending.

Capricorn

Aspects to the Sun in your sector of shared resources can solidify a private contract/promise between you and your partner, or confirm progress in the areas of debts, taxes or loans. You should feel like you’re on solid ground, although this will be happening behind the scenes. If sensitive issues/worries come up during discussions, make sure to address them but don’t allow them to undermine your progress.

Aspects to Venus in your partnership sector (including the opposition to Pluto Rx in your sign) can introduce a potent new relationship, or bring an existing relationship to a crucial turning point. Results or endings will be triggered by you – you have the power, although (if you’re projecting) it may seem as if the other person is responsible for these changes. Dynamic growth and expansion, in a personal or business relationship, is a strong possibility. But first, you may need to put an end to a certain partnership dynamic. Endings and enforced boundaries won’t be pleasant, but they’re necessary. In some cases, you may have to deal with subversive competition or sugar-coated challenges.

Aquarius

Aspects to the Sun in your partnership sector can solidify a new relationship (business or personal) or mark the next chapter in an existing partnership. A friendship could move forward, as the two of you build another layer of trust and mutual acceptance. For some, these influences could simply indicate a quiet shift in the approach to partnerships, even if you’re single – there will be an awareness of how you can attract others who bring warmth and joy into your life. No matter how these influences play out, the general vibe will be a growing sense of stability and confidence regarding who is in your life, and who you’d like to attract. If fears about being vulnerable come up, acknowledge them (and make the necessary financial or emotional adjustments) but don’t shut the door that’s opening.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of routine can hi-light a health or work result. A diagnosis or turning point (where you see that you must change the way you’ve been giving to others or treating yourself) may involve the loss of something that you weren’t fully aware of. At the same time, you should see vibrant progress in the areas of travel, education, legal matters, publishing or exploration. One door closes and another opens. In some cases, a particular health or work issue may reach an intense peak as you confront it. Issues with co-workers can involve subversive power plays. External rules or limits will also be a factor, and you won’t be able to sidestep them. However, don’t allow the judgements of others to undermine your progress.

Pisces

Aspects to the Sun in your sector of routine can confirm a new work routine/job/health regime. Improvements, positive new habits or solutions may be featured, although the inconjunct to Chiron Rx in your sign could trigger some questions about your ability to keep up the pace. Know that you’re on the right track, those in authority have confidence in you, and your future goals are solid.

Aspects to Venus in your sector of self-expression can involve an attraction/flirtation with compulsive undertones. You may feel like you’re not in complete control of who you want or who you’re attracting. Too, your desire to gain recognition for a creative work, or in a social setting, can lead to unexpected results – you may attract a potent mix of success, jealousy, manipulation and rewards. There will be a temptation to push a situation to its limits, in order to gain love and attention from others. Try to avoid extreme responses – you will run into restrictions and judgements that impact your reputation.
