  • Mercury in Gemini square Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (2 deg)

  • Mars in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus (4 deg)

  • Neptune in Pisces trine the Cancer North Node (18 deg)

Mercury/BML

There may be misinformation about sexual issues or gossip about the other woman/unacceptable woman. There will be a multiple sides to her story, which can be confusing. Perhaps you’re having trouble focusing on a BML issue (a destructive attraction or taboo subject) – are you avoiding a truth or spinning distracting lies?

Mars/Uranus

Here is the gentle nudge forward. Uranus in Taurus’ major update of habits/resources/values can help you act on a nurturing or family matter. It’s time to take action and initiate changes, but you don’t have to move abruptly or take big risks. Slow and steady as you step into new territory.

Neptune/North Node

Continuing the forward theme, the Cancer North Node is activated by release, forgiveness, acceptance or imagination. If you open yourself up to an ending or new experience, you may feel a gentle pull towards something that feels right. “Feel” is the key word, because the Cancer North Node is about what resonates emotionally.

Creating The Way Through The Heart | Starcana Cosmic Dirt

Good day friend! Sun (ego, identity) and Mercury (thoughts, communications, short journeys) will both bid farewell from grounded Taurus on Tuesday May 21, to enter curious Gemini. Rather than feel stuck or remain immobile, we’ll take a deep breath; trying a different way that will lead us toward a better change with Sun/Mercury in Gemini.  And […]

  • Mercury in Taurus trine Pluto Rx in Capricorn (23 deg)

  • Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus (3 deg)

  • Mars in Cancer trine Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (1 deg)

Mercury/Pluto

Mercury/Pluto is powerful, fixed words. Opinions feel like life (Taurus) or death (Pluto), but the harmonious trine ensures they are delivered in a palatable manner. Excellent if you have something crucial to say but you don’t want to alienate others with your intensity. Also good for digging beneath the surface of a seemingly simple issue and discovering something of greater value.

Words are magnetic because of their calm (Taurus) but intense message that slips under your skin before you know it (trine).

Venus/Uranus

Venus/Uranus delivers a sweet or shocking surprise, depending on how you feel about the disruption of financial or relationship habits. This can manifest as an unexpected new attraction that suddenly feels essential, an unusual new source of income or liberated expression of values. Something odd may appear beautiful, and something beautiful may suddenly not matter.

Not everyone will agree with what manifests, but you can bet it’s honest and a significant update from what you’re accustomed to.

Venus rules Taurus, so we can this aspect as the distilled essence of the entire transit. Venus/Uranus in Taurus is new values. The existing value of something can be completely blown away or clarified.

Wondering how Uranus’ transit of Taurus might impact you? I’ve written something that you can purchase and download here.

Mars/Lilith

Mars/BML empowers Lilith’s mystical, magical or delusional transit. Mars in Cancer is anger/initiative motivated by feelings (possibly protective or nurturing). In a harmonious trine to the Dark Lady, there can be a push to move into dangerously vague territory or a push to protect those on the outside who cannot protect themselves. Perhaps you feel the urge to nurture that part of yourself that was never accepted.

Cancer is the mother/child but BML is the outsider who was shut out from the family. With this aspect, nurturing actions create a resonance that allow you to come to terms with what was denied/ripped away. BML is associated with abortion, miscarriage or conflicted feelings about motherhood. Consider how certain empathetic actions might address these issues.

Lilith in Pisces can gently release deep pools of anger and pain connected to being shunned because of “unacceptable” expressions of female power and sexuality.

Mars’ Transit of Cancer, May 15th: It’s Personal

Mars into Cancer coincides with Venus’ Taurus ingress, continuing the (separating) sextile between them. Mars in Cancer is nurturing, moody, protective actions with a domestic edge – family first, even if you’re not fully aware of how family motivates you. As Mars continues to harmonize with Venus (until May 18th) nurturing actions can net you solid evidence (Taurus) of what you want.

Mars in Cancer acts instinctively – emotion trumps logic and motivations are passionate and somewhat childlike. Cancer takes everything personally, so this transit can be quite volatile. If someone loses their temper you can bet it’s because they feel they’ve been attacked on a personal level.

Anger, arousal or initiative are based on primary needs, or the fear that those needs are being denied. Never forget that Cancer is a Cardinal sign, so there can be outbursts of anger or strength when you least expect it. There can also be assertiveness based on the need to remain safe. This is the grip that tightens when you try to pull away – the ferocious hug or the aggressive mother/child.

During this transit, consider the most personal trigger for your motivations. It’s ok if you act on something because of how it makes you feel (comfortable or uncomfortable). You don’t need to explain this to anyone, but self-awareness is helpful (so you don’t become the rampaging child).

Here are the aspects Mars in Cancer will make:

  • May 18th: trine Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (1 deg)

  • May 22nd: sextile Uranus in Taurus (4 deg)

  • May 23rd: square Chiron in Aries (5 deg)

  • May 27th: inconjunct Ceres in Sagittarius (7 deg)

  • Jun 1st: square Pallas in Libra (10 deg)

  • Jun 12th: conjunct North Node (17 deg)

  • Jun 14th: trine Neptune in Pisces (18 deg)

  • Jun 14th: opposite Saturn Rx in Capricorn (18 deg)

  • Jun 14th: inconjunct Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius (18 deg)

  • Jun 18th: conjunct Mercury (21 deg)

  • Jun 19th: opposite Pluto Rx in Capricorn (22 deg)

  • Jul 1st: Leo ingress

  • Waxing Trine between the Virgo Moon and Taurus Sun (23 deg)

  • Venus in Aries sextile Mars in Gemini (28 deg)

Today should be a basically harmonious day. The Waxing Trine helps you integrate improvements into what’s already been established. Just because it’s steady doesn’t mean it can’t stand a bit of refining. This energy enables the application of a few tweaks to what’s already working, so it can work even better.

Taurus is ruled by Venus and Venus’ sextile to Mars supports what’s happening with a gentle resonance between actions and what you want. Make a choice (Gemini) – assert your information/facts but do so lightly, and watch as this manifests what you want (Venus). Venus/Mars is quick energy so you’re not insisting on anything. One little push is all it takes. But the Waxing Trine in the Earth signs says this can result in something real.

The Venus/Mars connection can be flirtatious and a bit cheeky – Mars in Gemini is assertive teasing or verbal challenges, and Venus in Aries likes this (it’s hot). But what starts off as a spark can solidify into something more, via the Waxing Trine.

May 5th, 2019: Mars in Gemini Opposite Jupiter

  • Mars in Gemini opposite Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius (23 deg)

Actions (Mars) are at odds with expansion (Jupiter) but in this case it can lead to exaggerated efforts, big efforts or a massive leap of faith. Jupiter pumps up Mars’ actions in any aspect, but the opposition amplifies the speed and enthusiasm due to the tension (you’re trying to act on beliefs that are out of reach). Any combo of Mars/Jupiter can be “lucky” but it can also be careless. There’s a fine line.

A conclusion or result can hit quickly, and since Jupiter is retrograde this may be your second shot at something. This can be your breakthrough moment as you finally decide to do it. You could be pushing that choice (Gemini) forward, no matter what.

There is great potential for achievement, but there’s also a lack of satisfaction since Jupiter encourages Mars to pursue more/bigger. So you have to be careful that what you’re pushing doesn’t become so overwhelming that you lose control. Since we’re dealing with the Gemini/Sag axis, information, opinions and beliefs may be the fuel that drives you, as you act on what you’ve learned.

Look before you leap, and carefully consider the choice you’re about to make.

Since this is a conclusion, we look back to the last Jupiter/Mars conjunction to see when the seeds were planted. On Jan 6th, 2018 Mars conjoined Jupiter at 17 deg Scorpio; that was your start (on a deep, possibly secret level) to what’s happening now.
