Last Quarter Square

Here we have a crisis between strength and vulnerability. You were safe, relying on what was familiar. But that’s starting to feel suffocating, and a restless impulse emerges to assertively question family or security. This may be a brand new issue, and the Moon’s conjunction to Chiron indicates that it will involve an uncomfortable mix of putting yourself out there (Aries) while being vulnerable. Perhaps there’s a family wound that needs to be confronted.

Grand Fire Trine

But the Moon is also part of a Grand Fire Trine involving Juno (partnership agreements) and Ceres (nurturing). So there’s a smooth flow of vibrant, confident energy that encourages bold questions and confrontations. Juno trine Ceres is the nurturing agreement which encourages pride and confidence between partners. If we add in Moon/Chiron, it suggests support (via this agreement) for these new questions that make you feel vulnerable. Or, perhaps there can be an agreement to confront the uncomfortable stuff.

Either way, you can tap into this energy to help you through the tension of the Last Quarter Square.

Seeing Possibilities

What tends to matter most – personal values, love and money – becomes blurry and could cause us to lose our way under a starry-eyed Venus/Neptune square, Monday morning June 24. What we imagine under this uncomfortable aspect, may send us back into an old romance with self-doubt or guilt with the help of a […]

Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself

All that we’ve been learning and experiencing will be in the light of the adventurous Sagittarius Full Moon, Monday June 17. Intentions from the Gemini New Moon will come to peak. We’ll have our fifteen minutes of shine, which will allow for the process of letting go, release, and an ending. Where we’ve felt caged […]

  • Venus in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries (5 deg)

There’s more than one way to deal with the wound, as long as you keep it light. Venus in Gemini is the multi-layered social interaction or new understanding of what’s beautiful. If you open your eyes and talk about what you want (or listen to what they want) you’ll discover empathy for what hurts.

This is a gentle influence – not heavy or emotionally charged. You touch on what hurts and then move away. Perhaps you return from a different angle, then move away again. At the same time, Chiron adds a bit of texture to Venus’ sometimes-superficial approach as the suggestion of awkwardness or fear adds a layer of attraction.

Maybe you can even muster a smile – this does not invalidate the pain.

Surf the Incoming Wave, or Surrender To It

As we journey into this new week; there’s a good chance of some experiences being blown out of proportion with the amplified Sun/Jupiter opposition on Monday June 10. Something pretty significant seems to be coming our way, and rather than get TOO lost in it – practice a little gratitude and humility to stay balanced. […]

  • Waxing Sextile between the Leo Moon and Gemini Sun (16 deg)

  • Mercury in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus (4 deg)

  • Mercury in Cancer square Chiron in Aries (5 deg)

Waxing Sextile

Here we have a gently sparkling energy that encourages you to take pride in your words or go public with your ideas. You can gain favourable attention by communicating, but you have to step into the spotlight and say “Listen to me.” This is not loud and dramatic – consider it as light and playful but worthy of notice.

Mercury

Mercury (ruler of Gemini) starts things off right with a sextile to Uranus – slightly daring/innovative words but nothing too crazy. The freedom to speak out in your comfort zone. But then the square to Chiron, which could make it difficult. You may shrink back from saying your piece because you feel vulnerable. Or, anything that’s said may feel so personal that it hurts, no matter how you put it out there.

Understand that there will be some painful conversations or thoughts today (most likely about past and family). You can’t avoid it, but you can use the energy of the Waning Sextile to forge ahead. Just say it/write it, and use the added nudge from Uranus to say what’s not quite “proper” or put a different twist on it- you have the freedom to articulate and Chiron’s wounds don’t do go away just because you avoid them.

June 6th, 2019: Courage, Compassionate Words and Transformed Agreements

  • Mercury in Cancer trine Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (3 deg)

  • Pluto Rx in Capricorn opposite Juno in Cancer (22 deg)

  • Chiron in Aries trine Ceres Rx in Sagittarius (5 deg)

Mercury/BML

Lilith finds an outlet for her message. Her slippery, dangerous undercurrent of taboo female sexuallity can be verbalized in a way that’s personal – everyone who hears her message will apply it to themselves in some way, for the better. Excellent for triggering empathy or delving into your own BML issues via family discussions.

Pluto Rx /Juno

A major transformation to a relationship agreement brings you to a turning point or ending. This can be the “death” of contract or a confrontation that triggers fear of loss and the resulting refusal to let go (or an unbalanced expression of power as one partner attempts to dominate). Pluto will intensify all dynamics because subconscious issues are dredged up. Don’t’ expect a logical discussion but do look for truths to emerge. Pluto is Rx, so you and another are returning to this issue.

Chiron/Ceres Rx

Expanded nurturing, or the nurturing of a quest/new area of learning/faith can help you address certain wounds. Chiron in Aries is the vulnerability of true courage, or having the courage to be the pioneer while others turn away. The trine to Ceres Rx encourages you to keep moving forward into unknown territory. Ceres is Rx, so you may be revisiting this issue (perhaps you’ve contemplated this before).
