The 3rd Quarter Square triggers a crisis between rigid perfection versus flexible choices. The Virgo Sun offers a set way of doing things; routines and solutions are grounded in practical knowledge. The Gemini Moon raises awkward questions- suddenly there are multiple choices and more than one way of being correct. You may want to stick with what works, but it’s time to look at additional options. This is about the tension between precision and flexibility. Is what you know the final word? It might be time to question the diagnosis.

The final Jupiter/ Neptune square also occurs today. Here we have another crisis-Jupiter’s ideals and wisdom versus Neptune’s dreams. Watch for exaggerated hopes and beliefs as both Jupiter and Neptune push the limits (Neptune dissolves and Jupiter expands). You believe there’s more/better or you think you know more.

The previous two squares occurred on January 13th and June 16th, so this is not a new issue. If you’ve been wrestling with the tendency to overdo it or you’ve gotten swept away in an unrealistic belief, this final square will unveil the truth. This can also be your final test of faith.

I should add that Jupiter and Neptune in any aspect can bring a lucky shot of transcendence that lifts you up and over. So within the swirling crisis and delusion there can be a vein of gold. Pay attention to the opportunity that emerges in an unexpected way, even if the surrounding situation is stressful. What new possibilities are you perceiving? Virgo season begins on a challenging note with the 3rd Quarter Square – the Crisis of Consciousness. There may be conflicting urges to focus on the details versus the input of fast, new choices and info. Should you take your time or react quickly to what’s coming in? The questions that come up will be important.

This aspect is about questioning what you thought you knew, so the sudden influx of new choices is designed to open your eyes and drag you away from tunnel vision. While the overwhelming vibe may involve looking at one thing, don’t ignore the chatter or distractions. There’s more to consider.

Having said this, Virgo thrives on tension. There’s dissatisfaction when things are going smoothly, so this crisis could be exactly what’s needed. There’s something to fix, and there’s no better time to address it than now.

Juno into Virgo takes partnership agreements and breaks them down. The specifics about what you and another have committed to will be on the line. Do A and B work for both? The Moon/Pluto square is a crisis of power versus initiative. The Aries Moon represents something new and impulsive while Pluto Rx adds an extra push, motivated by fear of being controlled or losing control.

This can be a very aggressive influence with manipulative undertones. Usually, Aries is upfront and honest, but the Pluto square suggests hidden motivations. There may be a struggle to break away from authority.

Nonetheless, the pressure of this crisis can propel you into the Waning Trine, an easier influence that involves sharing your energy with others. Aggressive beginnings will flow into something you can be proud of, as others sit up and take notice. Or, an initial power struggle/compulsive effort can help you break through a barrier and reach others.
