Mercury enters Leo on June 26th. Words are juiced up with creativity, pride and glam. Ideas have added power as they grab attention – this is the transit of bold statements with an uncompromising edge (Leo is a Fixed sign).
Mercury in Leo can speak generously, beautifully and joyously if the speaker feels appreciated. But if the ego is bruised, this transit can trigger dramatic expressions of look-at-me anger that are out of proportion to the issue. Nothing will be said lightly during this transit.
Mercury also stations Rx in Leo, so there will be reviews and questions about the initial bold statements. This means that what you hear or say (at first) should not be taken at face value. Even if the words are delivered with incendiary charisma and the full force of conviction, there will be reason to look again. Mercury Rx in Leo asks “Is this really the best?
