  • Vesta in Taurus inconjunct Ceres Rx in Sagittarius (3 deg)

Vesta’s focus on gradual growth clashes with Ceres in Sag’s adventurous growth. Ceres in Sag wants to bloom into a new area while Vesta in Taurus concentrates on what’s familiar.

Ceres is Rx, so you’re returning to this issue (which may involve travel, education, exploration, faith or religion). As you return, you run into something that’s fixed and cautious – resources, security or habits that pull you away from that area of exploration.

Ceres is about mother’s nurturing and cycles of loss and rebirth (in expansive Sag). Taurus is about fertility and stability (Vesta makes this a sacred issue). While these two issues may be at odds, the inconjunct asks that you find a way to make them both work. Ground yourself in what’s sacred as you re-examine what Ceres in Sag has to offer. Consider the common thread between Taurus and Ceres – what two areas of your life involve fertility in a literal or metaphorical sense?

Surf the Incoming Wave, or Surrender To It

As we journey into this new week; there’s a good chance of some experiences being blown out of proportion with the amplified Sun/Jupiter opposition on Monday June 10. Something pretty significant seems to be coming our way, and rather than get TOO lost in it – practice a little gratitude and humility to stay balanced. […]

Letting Go Isn’t Easy

Variety is the spice of life, and we’re starving for some movement and/or change under the social Gemini New Moon on Monday morning, June 3. Something deep is stirring within – and it may be a bit challenging to sit quietly – to understand what all this stuffy uncomfortableness is all about. Have you felt […]

  • Venus in Taurus trine Pluto Rx in Capricorn (22 deg)

Pluto strengthens what Venus in Taurus wants – relationships, self-esteem or money based on what’s already there can gradually intensify, as slow transformation deepens what you have. This is not about what’s new or exciting. Rather, it’s an empowering influence that helps you make the most of what has the most value.

This is the aspect for those who know what they have and know what they’re worth. Focus on the resources beneath the surface for an intensified commitment to yourself, to someone else, to your happiness. The trine means this will happen naturally – nothing is forced.

May 31st, 2019: The Quiet Commitment

  • Venus in Taurus trine Saturn Rx in Capricorn (19 deg)

  • Venus in Taurus sextile Juno in Cancer (20 deg)

Venus/Saturn is the solid commitment to what you want (financially or emotionally). It’s not showy or romantic, but it does confirm something that you have been working on. Your discipline and focus can deliver quiet rewards today, and Venus/Juno adds a bit of encouragement – that emotional relationship agreement can be stabilized.

This is quiet but real. It’s entirely dependent on the work you have put in so far, and the rules/responsibilities you are revisiting. Not so attractive for those who want something tingly, but very nice for those who crave what’s reliable.

  • Mercury in Gemini opposite Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius (20 deg)

  • Venus in Taurus trine the South Node in Capricorn (18 deg)

  • Saturn Rx in Capricorn opposite Juno in Cancer (19 deg)

Mercury/Jupiter

Something will sound really good, but the facts are contrary to hopes/ideals. Any aspect to Jupiter can be positive, and an opposition can sometimes point to an expansive result. Plus, Jupiter is Rx so you’re returning to this issue. But Mercury opposite Jupiter can mean unrealistic promises or difficulty focusing on a specific fact because the conviction that you’re right (no matter what the facts say) pulls you away from the information.

This is the aspect of big talk and massive opinions, but accuracy will be in question.

Venus/South Node

In contrast to the above, this is a quietly reassuring aspect. You can depend on something/someone from the past. Or, a habit/tradition is favourable. Now, this may or may not be the best thing- maybe you’re enabling a not-so-healthy habit or association because it delivers the goods. Consider if the familiarity of this issue is stabilizing or stagnating.

Saturn/Juno

A return to, or emphasis on, rules/commitments will restrict a nurturing agreement. Juno in Cancer is the relationship agreement that values security, but the opposition to Saturn Rx suggests restrictions and a lack of empathy. How rigid are those rules? Are you ready to restrict yourself in favour of someone else’s authority? Parental dynamics are prominent.

In some cases, this aspect can point to the end of agreement or an official separation.
