Mercury direct gives you the go -ahead regarding issues that have been delayed, reviewed or questioned since October 31st. The in-depth examination or exposure of secrets is now over- it’s time to move forward with what you know (and that includes speaking out, if necessary).

Chiron/Ceres triggers some difficult dynamics around rigid or traditional nurturing. Ceres is about mother’s nurturing and the cycle of life, loss and rebirth. Attempts to parent someone could bring out painful dynamics as they struggle to maintain their independence. Nurturing can be used as a tool to control, even if this is not done consciously. Or, a defined crisis point in the cycle of life and loss can be very uncomfortable-understand that this cycle cannot be controlled, and that is perhaps the most painful part.

The Third Quarter Square raises questions about the spotlight of external recognition versus the darkness of internal shadow work, secrets and investigations. The tension of this square does not demand action. Rather, it urges you to question what’s been hidden or forbidden. Issues of fame, pride or bold displays will create a jarring contrast with what’s going on behind the scenes. The questions can become obsessive as you fixate on what’s bright and obvious-has some jealousy been triggered? What are the shadow issues behind the bright light?

Venus/BML is about the tension between new and expansive relationships, values and optimistic ideals versus the cool and subtle current of taboo female sexuality: the witch, other woman, prostitute or outsider has a hard- to- pin-down magic that subverts more acceptable beliefs about women and female values. At this point of tension, it is proper and timely to question your beliefs before you move forward. In some way, a new experience will challenge Lilith’s slippery magic. Moon square Mercury RX can trigger discordant or anxious thoughts as profoundly focused ideas clash with bold, showy energy. A square is a crisis aspect, and the tension of this crisis can bring to light a particular secret or insight about fame or the need for appreciation. 

The Moon then becomes the focal point of a brief Yod: the inconjuncts to Neptune and Saturn will highlight the disconnect between ego/ drama/me first versus the Saturn/Neptune blend of sacrifice and quiet manifestation. Saturn and Neptune form a separating sextile, which represents the blend of dreams and reality (and the small sacrifice necessary to make it work). The focal point is also the difficult point of integration: it may be a struggle to achieve recognition or to balance pride with work and humility. But somehow, pride and recognition will put a spotlight on your sacrifice.

Pluto rules Scorpio, so this harmonious connection with the Sun adds depth and power to an issue that’s currently being illuminated. Power can be expressed effectively without trampling over others- tap into the transformation of old rules/structures for a solid confirmation and the reveal of valuable strength and resources. This is power that’s expressed with calmness and quiet assurance.

Mercury/Neptune is a profound  flow of words. There are no limits to what can be said, as long as what’s communicated is authentic. Saturn adds some control and boundaries, keeping the focus on the relevant issues and injecting a touch of reality. Excellent if you need to communicate creatively or compassionately, but also with authority. You could also be discussing or contemplating a necessary sacrifice.
