December 4th, 2019: First Quarter Square And Relationship Crisis

  • First Quarter Square between the Pisces Moon and Sagittarius Sun (11°)

  • Venus in Capricorn square Juno in Libra (10°)

  • Mercury in Scorpio trine Black Moon Lilith in Pisces (24°)

The First Quarter Square triggers a crisis between spirituality (Pisces) versus wisdom (Sag) or dreams versus truth. An established belief, piece of knowledge or religion will be challenged by what cannot be defined. Something will be undermining your faith, and it could be a lie, fantasy or energy that transcends everything you thought you knew. The questions that are raised will push you to take action- it’s time to step forward and defend your truth or make a change that aligns you with a new truth.

Continuing the theme of crisis, Venus/Juno raises tension between authoritative expressions or love or values versus a harmonious partnership agreement. Authority, traditions or control will trigger an imbalance between two people. Consider how this tension factors into the above crisis of truth and belief.

But there is an easy aspect today-Mercury harmonizes with Black Moon Lilith, tapping into uncomfortable and taboo information about women’s sexuality that is somehow deemed “unacceptable.” Here is the undeniable and intense voice of truth- saying what needs to be said or exploring secret issues. Consider how the smooth flow of intense, authentic female energy (via words or ideas) can help you deal with the above crises.

This trine between Mercury and BML is the last of three. So you’re concluding an issue that began on October 17th.

Expanding One Brick At A Time

Vibrations are going to shift considerably as abundant Jupiter exits from adventurous Sagittarius (after a one year transit), to join Venus, Saturn and Pluto in the ambitious realm of Capricorn, Monday December 2. During the next twelve months with Jupiter in Capricorn, we’re bound to expand in some way, in areas of reputation, status, career, […]

November 28th, 2019: All The Venus Issues

  • Capricorn Moon square Juno in Libra (8°)

  • Capricorn Moon conjunct the South Node (8°)

  • Juno in Libra square the Capricorn South Node/Cancer North Node (8°)

  • Mercury in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces (15°)

  • Mercury in Scorpio opposite Vesta RX in Taurus (15°)

  • Venus in Capricorn trine Uranus RX in Taurus (3°)

The Moon and Juno

Juno in Libra is about balanced relationship agreements. But when she makes a square aspect to the Nodes, something about this agreement is unbalanced and troublesome. South Node is the past or what is culminating, and North Node is what you are moving towards. So you may be stuck at a point where you and another disagree, or relationship rules/commitments (SN issues) feel unfair.

The Capricorn Moon uniting with the SN and squaring Juno could trigger a turning point in this situation. Note that the Moon rules the North Node, so the key is integrating past rules/traditions with a new awareness of needs and emotional expression. Until this integration happens the partnership agreement will remain stuck and crisis-ridden. Parental dynamics will be a major theme.

Mercury

Mercury triggers the last of three aspects to Vesta and Neptune. Due to Mercury’s previous RX, the opposition and trine first occurred from October 15-23rd. Back then, you were introduced to taboo, secret or intense words/ideas that challenged a focus (Vesta) on material security and habits. But the trine to Neptune encouraged that flow of information as you explored deeper levels.

These aspects reoccurred from November 10-13th, when Mercury was RX-more questions were asked or investigations burrowed beneath the surface.

Today, the issue that began in October is wrapping up. The challenge to a material focus or fixed routine is still there, but now there is a conclusion based on what you have learned. Deeper truths, or an understanding of psychological issues can help you move forward or have a compassionate conversation about money, fear of change or sacred boundaries.

The November 27th post about Neptune sextile Vesta is also connected to this: consider how an integration of the physical and spiritual can deepen your understanding of what is valuable to you.

Venus

Venus’ harmonious aspect to Uranus can help you deal with changes to relationships, values, security or self-esteem. You can incorporate those changes gradually, within an existing structure (Capricorn). You’re not breaking any rules about what you want or love, but you are making some changes. The definition of what’s considered valuable or attractive will shift.

Venus is the common energy in all of the above (Venus rules Libra and Taurus). So the overarching theme is addressing unbalanced relationships and a shift in values. Taurus is about subjective, “me first” Venus and Libra is about objective “what about you” Venus.

November 26th, 2019: Pallas Sextile Juno

  • Pallas in Sagittarius sextile Juno in Libra (7°)

New strategies (Pallas) blend with agreements (Juno) in a balanced, cooperative (Libra) way. Excellent for win/win compromises, diplomacy, legal issues or any kind of partnership solution that favours ethics and future expansion.

Since this is occurring on the same day as the Sag New Moon, it bodes well for a new relationship chapter (this can be a business or personal relationship).

Building The Dream

During the next four weeks, we’re about to get a lot more serious about what we want to attract into our life as loving Venus moves from playful Sagittarius, into ambitious Capricorn on Monday November 25. As we take responsibility for who we are and what we currently have with Venus in Capricorn, we can […]

Libra: Balance & Giving What You Get

Having Libra in my chart, I like balance and even-handed justice. As an example, when someone files a restraining order, that’s fine but they are bound by the same rules they impose on the other. There’s an elegance to it. If … Read More…

November 5th, 2019: Mars Square Pluto

  • Mars in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn (20°)

  • Venus in Sagittarius inconjunct Uranus RX in Taurus (4°)

The crisis between external actions (Mars) versus internal motivations (Pluto) can trigger extreme reactions: anger, obsession or aggression will be intensified.

Actions may be polite (Libra) on the surface, but there will be an undercurrent of something darker. Efforts to manipulate, gain power or strike back will be indirect, but don’t be fooled.

Whether you’re reacting, or you’re on the receiving end, it can help if you tune in to what’s going on beneath the surface. What are the real motivations? Surface actions will be a distorted version of those.

Pay special attention to extreme power imbalances (Libra). Efforts to dominate or fight back against domination will be based on Pluto’s life-or-death vibe. The actual situation is usually not life threatening, but Pluto has a way of amplifying those survival urges.

Meanwhile, Venus (ruler of Libra) will make an awkward inconjunct to Uranus. Exploring new and expansive areas in relationships, finances, creative opportunities or personal values can attract some unexpected and disruptive results. Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus is about the update to fixed financial or security habits. The resulting insecurity/impatience can trigger unwise risks.

Going back to Mars in Libra (square Pluto), we can see how intensely frustrating or hostile moments can trigger radical urges for escape (Sagittarius). Overall, you want to carefully consider your responses rather than blindly reacting. Don’t be someone’s puppet by dancing to their manipulative tune. And don’t be controlled by your Shadow issues-jealousy, resentment, fear of loss, unacknowledged anger.

Maintaining your awareness is your best bet to maintaining your balance, even if you’re confronted with a ferociously unfair situation. That means acting in a way that’s as fair as possible while acknowledging your anger over what’s unfair.
