Saturn Rx in Sagittarius square Chiron in Pisces: 27 …
Pallas enters Aries on March 30th. Named after Pallas Athena (the warrior goddess) she is described in Asteroid Goddesses (Demetra George and Douglas Bloch) as woman’s power in a mans’ world. Androgynous, she emphasized her masculine side so she could compete with the “boys.”
In Aries, the feminist fight may be more pronounced – the battle to assert ideas that don’t fit with tradition, or the patriarchy. Winning strategies will be essential. This is not about nice-to-haves, or dreamy pictures. Pallas plays for keeps in Aries. Direct tactics will serve you better than hints or manipulation.
This transit can be about the birth of a new pattern- the urge to start something, based on your intuition. Logic will not be the driver, but passion or competition will. Strategies to address problems will be triggered by challenge. Are they saying no one has ever attempted this, and the odds are against you? This is what Pallas in Aries loves to hear. Aries is the pioneer, so we have the potential for something brand new. The desire for success will certainly be there, but the execution will be up to you.
Pallas enters Taurus on June 26th, 2017. She’ll return to Aries in November, when she’s Rx, and won’t reenter Taurus until 2018. So there’s an extended battle coming up.
A day of hard words and enforced focus.
Mercury/Pluto can bring verbal confrontations, with more going on beneath the surface. Power and domination will be the subtext, but the words may say something different. Look beneath the aggressive, verbal push for the real truth. In some cases, this aspect could signify a crisis resulting from building pressure. If someone is finally speaking up, the words could come out more harshly than intended. Mercury square Pluto goes for the jugular, but the intent is unconscious.
Saturn/Pallas will put limits on intuition and creative strategy. Proof will be demanded. Rules will define the effectiveness of free-flowing solutions. However, sometimes hard focus is exactly what’s needed. This could be crunch time for an unproven idea – make it work, or let it go.

Pallas and Chiron unite creative wisdom with wounds. Here is a prime opportunity to apply a solution (not just a band aid) to an area of difficulty. This won’t involve pure logic – intuition will be crucial. The Sun will bring this situation to life, and activate the sore spot. Watch for a pattern – how does the wound connect to other areas of your life?
Having said this, know that the Sun is applying to a square with Saturn in Sagittarius (at 27 degrees) exact on March 17th. There will be restrictions, and the totality of healing may be limited. Meaning, this is not a magic wand – scars and aches will remain. Or, the necessary solution will be painful. But limits will force you to concentrate on what you can heal. What you must heal. Saturn=the work you have to do. Don’t discount the effectiveness of Pallas/Chiron; if you’re backed into a corner, you’ll have wisdom at your disposal.
Venus Rx/Juno raise questions about freedom and values in committed partnerships. The rules of the contract between you and another will be challenged. One partner may feel repressed. The key issue will be how a newly emerging version of self creates tension within a relationship: change is inevitable.
