  • Mars in Aquarius opposite Vesta in Leo: 4 degrees
  • Mercury in Sagittarius sextile Mars in Aquarius, trine Vesta in Leo: 4 degrees

Mars/Vesta suggests actions blocked by opposing focus. Or, tension arises as an agitator steals the spotlight.

Mercury is the solution, as it akes harmonious aspects to Mars and Vesta. Innovative communication/ideas will be fired up by Mars, as words are easily put into action. The trine to Vesta adds focus and purpose to an ideal, cause or new area of learning. If there is resistance to action, put your intentions into words. Openly communicate what you’re going to start, and the enthusiasm that’s generated should help you move forward.

Owning Up to Stay Real | Taurus Full Moon

Our week begins with a big bang of an illuminating super-sized Full Moon on Monday November 14. What had been forsaken and left in the dark, rises back up to the surface; revealing the light of a much needed truth. Endings unfold; helping us to let go of we thought and what we understood. Something shifts, […]

Mercury enters Sagittarius on November 12th. Ideas go big and vocal. Facts are inflated, opinions are advertised.

Mercury is the planet of details and Sag is the sign of philosophy and the big picture. Therefore, we can expect details to be expanded, and in some cases, exaggerated. Mercury sees further in Sagittarius. But judgemental pronouncements and baseless promises increase. It will all be very public.

What do you believe, when Mercury is in this sign? You have to be smart about it – don’t believe everything you hear, because some facts will be glossed over. The exception to this will be November 23rd, when Mercury conjoins Saturn and the focus is narrowed.

Overall, this transit is excellent for infusing new life into your plans. If you’ve been stuck, bored or depressed, Mercury in Sagittarius can alert you to new opportunities. Nothing is proven (although Saturn may validate or deny a particular hope) but you have to start somewhere. This is the transit of the salesman, missionary and teacher – new ideas and hopeful concepts are packaged to inspire.

As ruler of the Virgo North Node, Mercury urges you to expand on what you know. It’s time to add to the facts and push those improvements further. If you’ve got a plan, consider going beyond what you’ve mapped out. Think bigger.  November 18th will be a crucial date, when Mercury squares the Nodes and Neptune. Check this post for details.

Here are the aspects Mercury in Sag will make:

  • Nov 14th: conjunct Juno (2 deg)
  • Nov 15th: sextile Mars in Aquarius (4 deg)
  • Nov 15th: trine Vesta in Leo (4 deg)
  • Nov 18th: square the Nodes and Neptune Rx in Pisces (9 deg)
  • Nov 22nd: sextile Jupiter in Libra (15 deg)
  • Nov 23rd: conjunct Saturn (16 deg)
  • Nov 26th: square Chiron Rx in Pisces (20 deg)
  • Nov 26th: trine Uranus Rx in Aries (21 deg)
  • Nov 26th: trine Ceres Rx in Aries (21 deg)
  • Nov 27th: sextile Pallas in Aquarius (23 deg)
  • Dec 2nd: Capricorn ingress

October 31st, 2016: Drink Deeply From the Past

  • Mercury in Scorpio trine the Pisces South Node/sextile the Virgo North Node: 11 deg
  • Jupiter in Libra inconjunct the South Node: 11 deg

Mercury rules the North Node (an area in front of you that’s ready to be developed), but the South Node trine suggests looking backwards, first. Confront the past and drink deeply from the memories. This will allow you to release or build on them – whatever’s appropriate. You won’t have to question what’s appropriate, because the Scorpio/Pisces mix enables instinctive recognition of the truth. Easy understanding, discoveries or conversations will allow you to move forward.

Tonight’s Samhain – the thinning veil between worlds encourages connection with your ancestors, and this can facilitate this process.

Jupiter will trigger some minor tension in the above process. The past will need to be balanced with new developments in a social scenario. Expansion (Jupiter) is happening now, and relationships with others must be taken into consideration. But, the enthusiastic leap forward can undermine things if you fail to wrap up an old issue.

The Sun conjoins Mercury in Scorpio, at 4 degrees. Clarity pierces the shadows, revealing secrets or additional layers. This superior conjunction may be connected to September 12th’s inferior conjunction at 20 degrees Virgo (when Mercury was Rx). The facts that were illuminated then are peeled back now. A richer understanding is achieved.

This connects to Venus in Sagittarius’ square to the Mercury-ruled North Node in Virgo/South Node in Pisces, at 11 degrees. Venus in Sag triggers a point of tension. The restless desire to expand or take an emotional/financial leap may bring you to a crossroads. The North Node and Mercury in Scorpio say the way forward involves carrying the facts to their ultimate conclusion. The time for vagueness or escapism is over. If you’re going to jump in, make sure you know exactly how deep the waters are, what you really want, and the potential consequences. No excuses.

Mars in Capricorn makes a sextile to Chiron Rx in Pisces, at 21 degrees. Quiet healing is achieved with sober, determined actions. Doing what needs to be done, and doing it with focused efficiency, will move you along nicely. Disciplined actions carry you over awkward patches. This will happen so smoothly that one else may notice. But you will. Tackle the sore spot and keep marching forward.
