Just because it’s Halloween this week, I’m not about to throw an unnecessary scare into this forecast. Just a warning though: there might be a monster lurking at the end of this forecast. Bring a wooden stake and some holy water with you, just to be safe.
The week begins with Mercury conjunct Jupiter in the late degrees of Scorpio. This combination may not be the greatest for detailed calculations, but it’s great for “Big Picture” thinking. Sometimes a seemingly intractable position in your life just requires a little thinking outside of the box, and this aspect is excellent for that sort of reevaluation. This — in combination with Sun sextile Saturn, which is still in effect from last week — might make it an ideal time for rewriting the script as to how you see your world, and how your world sees you.
Halloween is this Wednesday. Halloween, as you may know, is an occasion descended from various beliefs about there being a day when the space between the living and the dead is shortened, and ghosts and other such creatures from the past can wander the Earth freely. This may apply to your love life this week, as Venus is still retrograde in Scorpio but enters Libra on Wednesday, making an opposition to Uranus along the way.
Think back to what was going on with your emotional and/or financial life during last Wednesday’s Full Moon. Any issues that presented themselves on that day may come to the forefront again, whether it’s a similar emotional theme or a literal person or situation reappearing in your life. If that is the case, pay attention: that Venus-Uranus opposition theme we will be recurring again in late November and/or early December.
Still on Halloween, not long after that opposition, Venus heads back into Libra. Normally Venus in Libra is a strong placement which favors romantic attraction and financial well-being, but the retrograde makes things a little tricky. In theory though, you should be better able to get your act together in those departments of your life. But as far as new and bold initiatives in your love life? You still might be better off waiting until at least November 17th, when Venus is still in Libra but is no longer retrograde.
Now, about that possible monster lurking at the end of this week’s forecast. Venus has been retrograde since the first part of October, and many of you will have noticed the ghost of past relationships revisiting you in the night, whether that’s purely an emotional metaphor or an actual message from someone who is a part of your romantic past. As I mentioned earlier, events around that attitude (or actual person) might be coming to a head this week. Now that Venus is in Libra, it may be time to contemplate a spooky and disturbing twist to the tale of your love life:
