At the suggestion of a reader, I have decided (on a trial basis) to experiment with requiring anyone who wants to leave a comment to register to become a member and log in to leave their thoughts. This will reduce trolling and changing identities when one wants to hate on people. I recognize that registration is inconvenient—who wants to remember yet another username/password combination?—but once it’s done, it’s done. Besides, there are benefits to being a member, such as being able to friend other members and send private messages.
