The two biggest aspects this week can be powerful, yet vague and a bit confusing. Actually there are three big aspects this week, but Uranus square Pluto has been hovering around for so long that it’s easy to forget about (but I’ll bet you felt it last week when Mars joined that combination, didn’t you?).
Venus square Neptune is exact on Thursday but extends its influence throughout the week. Venus in Sagittarius isn’t exactly the most logical and goal-oriented placement ever, and combined with the square to Neptune its senses might be pretty dazed. In general, you might want to double- and triple-check your investments, both financial and emotional. This aspect certainly generates a lot of urges, but it can be reckless and doesn’t like to stop to think things through.
The other aspect taking a hold of the second half of the week is Mars quincunx Jupiter. Frankly, the quincunx is a weird aspect, but you ignore it at your peril. Things get even stranger when that quincunx is connecting Mars and Jupiter. Imagine a Klingon warrior and Santa Claus forced by court order to sit together in a car until they agree on whose house to visit first and what to do while they are there. The final result could be hilarious, deadly, or some combination of the two … but the deliberation process itself will be a nightmare. Once more, I implore you: Be cautious with your impulses.
Sun conjunct Saturn on Tuesday makes for a heavier-than-average mood, especially in the workplace — where, let’s be honest, the mood isn’t always that great on a Tuesday anyway. On the other hand, that combination in Scorpio might be good for making difficult decisions about painfully difficult subject matters. If there is a particularly complicated or difficult decision you have to make, you might want to put it off until Thursday. The Moon is Void of Course all day Wednesday, and won’t help you gain any new ground.
After a week like that, the weekend is especially welcome. Not only will it give you a chance to catch a break, you’ll also have the opportunity to reboot your life to some extent: Saturday’s New Moon at 0° Sagittarius is an excellent time to sort through your priorities and decide how you will do something or other in your life differently in the next month. That extra boost of optimism that comes from Sagittarius might give you that little push you need to make things start going your way.
Besides: the Sun entering Sagittarius is a reminder that December is almost upon us. That’s when the Uranus-Pluto square is exact once more, and Saturn changes Signs. These planetary shifts could make for a serious reshuffling of your deck, so you might as well plan ahead for the things you want to change in your life — because like it or not, things are going to change anyway. You might as well try to steer things in your favor now.
