You know that little voice in your head that’s starting to quietly say, “Somethings got to give”? That small but insistent pounding in your temples that’s slowly building, looking for a release? That’s the sound of Mars in Capricorn approaching the square to Uranus and the conjunction to Pluto. That aspect is now in effect and will carry through for the next two weeks. Now might be a good time to clarify your intentions for your life, and to quietly assess who and what is on your side and who and what isn’t. If things will be blowing up for you in the next couple of weeks anyway, it’s always a good idea to know in advance where the first aid kit and the fire extinguisher are.
Thursday’s Full Moon in Taurus is, like most Full Moons, a time for us to experience heightened emotions … and occasionally, to duck and cover from other people’s heightened emotions. This Full Moon also closely involves Venus, Mars, and Pluto. The usual irrational impulses one associates with a Full Moon may be tinged with an extra dose of sex and/or power struggle. Your best bet for navigating the day may involve practicing your best smiling and nodding, noncommittal shrugs, and avoiding office politics.
After that, the Moon is Void of Course for most of the day on Friday, after an opposition to Saturn. There is usually a natural tendency to lay low and/or goof off on a Friday at work, and that may in fact be your safest approach to the day.
On Saturday, Mercury enters Scorpio. Normally, this wouldn’t be the world’s biggest astrological news, but it comes with a twist. Mercury at the beginning of Scorpio is conjunct the eclipse point from October 23rd. Think back to what was running properly in your life at that point, and what needed some changes. Mercury passing over that degree gives us the opportunity to apply our words and our brainpower to making the situation better, with a possible surprise boost from the universe. If the major issue you were facing at that time was your love life, then it would be a shame to miss the opportunities that this weekend presents.
This weekend the dating scene is dominated by Venus in Scorpio square Jupiter in Leo, which becomes exact on Sunday. Watch out for excessive behavior, enthusiastic romancing, and broken diets. That, plus Moon in Gemini means that people may be a little too willing to say things about impulses they would otherwise know to shut up about. On the other hand, if what your love life needs is a “wild card” then this could in fact be the weekend to just let ‘er rip.
